About this house rental
Nestled in Glenwood Springs, this lovely house for $170 per night is a great option for your next break. We are thoroughly sanitizing all surfaces and linens between guests. Historic victorian bungalow in the core of downtown, fun and comfortable (now with AC for hot summer days!). Around the corner from restaurants, bars and shopping. Hotsprings just over bridge. 3 blocks to one of the best hiking/biking trails. Easy access to the bike path to Aspen and Canyon. The house doesn't have a lot of square feet, but it has everything you would want - fiber optic internet, Dish TV, washer/dryer, space for storing bikes/skis, a sunny deck and air conditioning. The furnishings are of the highest quality. Permit no. 18-045

The property is located right in the heart of Glenwood Springs. Walking distance to everything. The city of Glenwood Springs offers free public transportation as well. The bungalow is very small, but cozy. The parking is very tight if you have a bigger vehicle. We had a F150 4x4 which was challenging to park.
Overall, it was a nice place located in the perfect spot.

We've been to Glenwood many times, and staying so close to downtown and the walk bridge over to the pool was fantastic. Having our own parking made everything easier. Hosts are wonderful!

Cute little property right near the center of Glenwood Springs. It was within walking distance of the train station and many restaurants. Not good for more than a few people but it is excellent for a small group.

The place itself was great. The location is great for those wanting to enjoy all that Glenwood is about. But was a bit noisy for me. I think there could have been more listed about what all was included-specifically. (I had to ask a lot of questions and ended up bringing more than I needed to)
Unfortunately, the lack of information presented created an issue which required me to correct a financial mistake, which created a lot of stress. Found both VRBO and the host difficult to communicate with, although that improved when the host returned to the country.
At times, I had wished I chose a Motel instead, but after staying there, I think this option just ended up being slightly better for my needs. I may stay again, but I really need to consider that neighborhood noise will prevent sleeping in.

We enjoyed this cute, cozy house in downtown. We were able to park and walk where we needed to go. The house is small, but everything we needed was there, down to a nice patio to watch the world go by. I thought it would be noisy, but it was really quite quiet. We would stay here again.

This location was perfect, right on the edge of the main downtown streets with lots of restaurants in walking distance, close to hot springs and hiking trails. The bungalow had everything we needed and was ideal for a Glenwood Springs home-base.

We had a great stay over 4th of July weekend. This is a great cozy place perfect for two people. We enjoyed our nights on the patio and loved how close to everything we were. If you stay here make sure to go across the street to the book store.

location is great to walk to shops/eatery/bar but not to the hot springs. way smaller then the picture appear, should cut the table in half and put a couple of small comfy chairs to sit. the porch was dirty and should probably keep the cushions inside when not being used they were soaked from the rain and dirty also. love the rain fall shower head but need to be a very short person to get a proper shower. not terrible but not fantastic either. thanks glenwood we will be back but will try somewhere different especially for the $$

Perfect downtown getaway!!
My wife and I had an amazing stay in Glenwood Springs and loved this little hideaway located one block from the main drag. The front door leads you into a spacious fully functional kitchen with table/chairs and TV. The bedroom is perfect size for a Queen bed and small closet. Bathroom off the bedroom has a walk-in shower, sink, toilet. The AC was nice and cool! No wasted space and nothing else needed for a fun week in Glenwood Springs. We flew to Denver and rented a car for the drive to GS. Turned the car in upon arrival and literally walked to dinner, shopping and happy hours at several fantastic shops and eateries! We came to GS to fly fish, hike and white-water raft and everything is within walking distance. For the return trip to Denver, we walked two blocks to the Amtrak station and had the most amazing train ride through Rocky Mtns and beside Colorado River to downtown Denver where we flew home the next day. If you're looking for a cozy place within a block of numerous activities, this is the place. Thanks Kayce and see ya next time!

4.5 Stars - Perfect for a short getaway!
The bungalow was mostly what we had expected, which was a remodeled older cozy home in a great location! The size of the place is ideal for two adults, but we had two adults and a four year old, so the space was just right for a short stay without feeling too cramped (yet). The location was the best part because of the walkability to restaurants, the Hot Springs pool, all the shops, and a fire station, which our little one loved! Also, it was a short drive to many of our other activities. The A/C unit worked great but we kept a couple windows slightly opened or otherwise the house can get stuffy; however, we were very comfortable during our stay. The owner was also responsive! We didn't give it a perfect 5 for minor things like the windows not being cleaned (bugs in the window sills), a couple spider webs, not enough paper towels (we had maybe 1/4 of a roll when we arrived), and no sponges to clean dishes. Overall, we enjoyed our time and will definitely rent from here again for a short trip!

Very underwhelmed
This place is really only big enough for 1 person. The bed takes up so much space in the bedroom you can hardly close the door. The bathroom is only accessible from the bedroom. The bathroom is very small, and one person can barely fit their toiletries in there, can't imagine 3 people trying to use it. The deck has a lovely view of the garbage dumpsters from the business that this place sits behind (in an alley) which totally turned us off from wanting to BBQ. No air movement in the place, except from a small fan. I can't imagine what it's like to stay there in August. You can't leave the windows open because they sit so low (look at the photos) that someone can literally cut the screen and step into the place, and the sidewalk is right next to the windows.. Trying to watch the TV was hard on our necks. My wife gave up and just viewed her notepad. We regret renting this place and won't do it again.
