Located in Lourmarin, this attractive house for $635 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. The house is just off Lourmarin , one of the most beautiful villages in France! Ideally located between Avignon and Aix en Provence, Lourmarin nestles in the middle of vineyards and olive trees. Enjoy the magnificent view on the Luberon, the amazing overflow pool and its wooden deck. Accommodation: the house has just been totally refurbished to the highest standards with a subtle mix of modern and antique pieces of furniture. This house offers 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms a very large kitchen, fully equipped (we love cooking when we are there!!) a dining area with table easily suiting 10 persons, and a large living room with fireplace opening on the deck with large French windows. The view over the Luberon mountains from the sofa is so lovely!!! You need to know that this is not only a renting house, we live there too.... this means a lot to us as we want you to feel home and comfortable. Whether you just want to chill out and relax by the pool, play 'petanque' at the house, check your e mail from the deck thanks to the free wifi access everywhere in the house , or ride the bicycles to visits the local villages , each with their pittoresque weekly market (don't miss Lourmarin's farmer's market on Friday morning!) You will have everything you need to spend a memorable week in Provence. You can even cook your home made pizza in the outside 'Four à pizza'!!! Location: if your idea of a perfect Provence village includes cafes and restaurants spilling out onto the cobbled streets, Lourmarin is the place for you. You will find a detailed list of our selection of restaurants and places we love in Provence in the house. Sites to see in Lourmarin include the 15th-16th century Castle, the Romanesque St. Andre church, a lovely campanile and some nice old fountains. Lourmarin is nicely situated as a base for visiting Provence. It's in the heart of the Luberon, with Aix-en-Provence about 30 minutes to the south and Avignon 45 minutes to the west. Some lovely nearby villages along the southern edge of the Luberon are Vaugines, Ansouis, Cucuron, Cabrières d'aigues and La Motte-d'Aigues. Also very close, on the northern edge of the Luberon, are Bonnieux, Lacoste, Ménerbes and Oppède. The market town of Apt is only 20 minutes away. The drive north towards Bonnieux goes through the beautiful, narrow river valley called 'Combe de Lourmarin'. The Luberon offers an abundance of natural wonders.....

We were two families staying at this home - both with children. First - the home itself is well laid out - plenty of rooms and beds for comfortable sleeping. Wonderful main living area with large kitchen for cooking and all the cooking tools one could need. The deck and pool area are the real stars of this place. With the hot August days, having the pool to refresh and dine outside was fantastic . The property is beautiful and we couldn’t ask for more. It is located 1km for the heart of Lourmarin which is one of the most beautiful villages in Provence and has the best market (Friday). Other towns and attractions are a short drive away. Georges-Andre was very friendly, professional and quite responsive getting us settled in and responding to our queries. Our families had a great time and would recommend this rental highly.

The house was very spacious, tons of beds. There was 10 of us but could have fitted 14 or more! Kitchen very well equipped and stunning outdoor areas! Only little complaint was the constant cold showers we all experienced! Would highly recommend the place and would stay again!

Spacious property in a gorgeous location near amenities. We had a really lovely time. There are many pretty villages and towns nearby to visit. The property itself had plenty of room for us all and sociable dining areas. Outside space also good. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Sophie's home. The house was perfect - big enough for 2 families and it has everything you need and more. The grounds are beautiful, there is so much space and the kids enjoyed exploring the garden. Its location is great for exploring Provence. We would definitely recommend and would love to come and visit again.

I spent a really great week in this wonderful villa close to the center of Lourmarin. The house is large, spacious and modern! The kitchen is a dream and is fully equipped with everything you could want, including the plancha, pizza oven etc. We felt so great in the house that we actually never left, it was so relaxing. We hung out/tanned around the pool on the large terrasse, cooled off in the pool, cooked together, had petanque competitions, drank lots of rosé.. I can't wait to organize another trip here, maybe next time for a baby trip instead of a friend trip :-).

Das wunderschöne Haus ist in der malerischen Landschaft Nähe Aix-en-Provence. Das nächste Dorf ist Lourmarin mit traumhaften typischen südfranzösischem Markt und kleinen Gassen und Cafés. Das Haus ist optimal für grosse Familien-/Freundestreffen, zum entspannen in der Sonne und grosse gemeinsame Essen, die Aussicht der Terrase ist wunderbar! Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Wir haben unser Wochenende wahrlich genossen und empfehlen das Haus wärmstens weiter!

Nous avons été enchantés par notre séjour. La région est superbe, pleine de petits artisans à visiter, la maison est bien isolée tout en étant proche de Lourmarin et de son adorable marché local ! Les nombreux atouts de la maison ont eu raison de notre envie de gambader. La piscine à débordement, la grande table pour déjeuner et dîner dehors, les sofas pour faire bronzette, le ping pong, la pétanque, nous avons profité de l'équipement au top de la maison, sans oublier le four à pizza qui nous a permis de jouer à top chef à plusieurs reprises (achetez votre pâte à pain au boulanger de Lourmarin). Maison très très lumineuse et moderne/design, vaste cuisine, vaste salon, chambres très agréables, nous avons vraiment fait un vrai break régénérant. Merci pour tous les conseils et les consignes très bien expliquées (book sur place) par le propriétaire.... on s'est senti tout de suite chez soi. On reviendra !

La casa esta fantastica para compartir con amigos y ninos. Amplia, moderna, bien equipada. El salon es comodo, con vista a la piscina y al paisaje... Tiene varios ambientes adentro y afuera, (dos grandes mesas para comer). Mis ninos (9anios, 6 y 2) la pasaron excelente con sus amigos. La piscina muy facil de supervisar y los ninos no pararon de jugar. La casa se presta para hacer reuniones, cenas grandes, poner musica y relajarse. El pueblo de Lourmarin nos parecio precioso. Calles pequenas y pintorescas tipicas de la region. Muchas cosas de mucho gusto que comprar. Los mercaditos de comida se turnan de pueblito dependiendo del dia y son una de las atracciones a ver... (las frutas y legumbres mas ricas de la region!) Los restaurantes del area son deliciosos. La verdad, vale muchisimo la pena la casa. Nuestras vacaciones en provence fueron especiales gracias al confort y lujo que encontramos en ella. La recomendamos 100%...

La maison est très spacieuse et aménagée avec beaucoup de goût : les espaces communs (dont une très belle cuisine, avec un équipement hors du commun) sont très conviviaux et agréables, à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Les chambres sont très confortables. L'environnement: c'est une grande tranquillité, et une position dominante qui permet de profiter de superbes paysages. Un vrai sentiment de liberté. On peut aller au village à pied. La maison nous a permis de nous retrouver à trois familles avec des enfants et adolescents. Et c'était idéal!

The house is really spacious, very well located and easy to access. The big living room with its high ceiling, the big comfortable couches and the huge fire place have been very welcoming and extremely pleasant. The view on the landscape is magical and staying out for a cup on a starry night is fantastic! Siestas by the pool in the hammock were one of the highlights of our stay. Farmers' market on Fridays was a treat, especially for us Greeks who appreciate fresh fruit and vegetables. We have enjoyed making dinner using the house's kitchen which is extremely well equipped. Definitely worth repeating!

I rented this house for my family from the US. The owners sent all of the necessary information way before our arrival which was very helpful. We were able to plan visits and restaurants in advance thanks to the info pack. The house is just perfect, it has everything and is very clean. It was a perfect week spent around the pool and the BBQ not to forget the pizza oven!- the small village was perfect for morning coffee. It was like being at home but better!
