Regardless of the weather or the time of year, you can have the experience of camping in the woods without the hassles of bad weather, keeping a fire lit or using a drafty latrine. All three cabins. 100 ft apart, sleep 4 adults, bathroom with shower, has a full kitchenette, dining table and living room. Bedding included for all, heater in each room with thermostat control and two car parking for each cabin.

This is our 2nd year at the cabin and have enjoyed it each time! We spend weeks hunting in northeast MT and find this place a nice place to rest for a few days, enjoy the scenery and attractions, before heading back to the hunt and eventually making our way back to WI. Norm is pleasant and responds to messages very quickly! It’s so nice to have a kitchen, and you can’t get over the view every morning. It is so close to a number of restaurants and coffee shops, and a quick 50 min drive to Glacier National Park (which we finally made it to, TWICE this visit)

A wonderfully adorable cabin with a view that looks far out over the lake. Perfectly supplied, very clean, and homey. We were lucky enough one night to step out onto the deck and see the aurora borealis faintly in the skies above. The host was responsive when we had questions and there were no issues at all.

My wife and I spent 3 nights in cabin 1 with our dog and had a great stay. Nice location that has great views and is close proximity to a lot of nice hiking trails. Would recommend West Shore State Park at Flathead Lake(10 mins away) to see just how clear and beautiful the water is. Huron State Park(25 min away makes for some great hiking and great views of the valley. Also, tried a lot of the local brewery's and were not disappointed. We will come back for sure.

This little place is great! Clean, comfortable and so accessible from town. Sat at the table on the deck late into the evening and again for breakfast. Perfect spot to catch our breath after Glacier NP. Meteor shower was an added plus. Clear night with so many stars!

Great location, cute cabin. Owner took almost 2 hours to respond to my request for the wi-fi code, since it wasn't given to me in my email and its not posted anywhere in cabin. Bedding and pillows had stains and various kinds of hair. Pillows need to be replaced, they're stained and broken down. Shower is standing only and standard size, so its cozy.

As a life long resident that's lived in Montana my whole life, I have never stayed nor explored this part of Montana. And I don't regret it one bit! My partner who is from Minnesota, enjoyed the stay as much as I did. It was a good sized cabin for the both of us. With plenty of room to cook, play games and sit back and relax to enjoy a movie. (There are also Movie services and WiFi in the cabin! Which is a plus!) The view from the cabin was amazing with the snow. We booked the cabin when the mountain was still full of snow and I felt unsure at first with my smaller Subaru, but I contacted the host and they responded quickly! And assured us that the roads were plowed and sanded down. And sure as heck the roads were plowed and sanded down just as they said. Everything was quick & simple. Making this getaway just that much more relaxing and enjoyable. I would come back again! I 100% recommend! I only gave *cleanliness* a 4-star due to animal hair and previous people's hair stuck in some places. But it wasn't horrible. Overall: Great Cabin & Great vibes! Thank you for the great experience!

The cabins at Whispering Pines are a beautiful, and peaceful place to get away and relax. This is our second stay, and we're already checking our calendar to pick dates to return again. The cabins are clean, cozy, and well stocked. Having place like this available for families with pets is a blessing!

These cabins are wonderfully located in the mountains of Lakeside, Montana. We were lucky enough to be there after and during some snowfall. It was simply beautiful and we also saw deer off of the porch early in the morning. The cabin is perfect for a couple We will come back if we're ever up that way again.

We loved our weekend at the cabin. The cabin was perfect for us and our two dogs. It was well stocked with necessary supplies and the view from the front porch was breathtaking. Good food and good hikes were nearby. Wish we could have stayed a month.

The cabin is so cute and inviting. My husband and I loved the setting and seclusion and the cabin was super clean and comfortable. Communication with Norm was great. We would love to stay there again.

We live in a Montana and enjoy the beauty and quietness this little place offers. It was a perfect size for our group of four. I loved having my morning coffee on the porch in the crisp fall air while I watched the lake peek through the trees. The only thing two things to note, is that there isn’t a freezer, so bring a small cooler if you need items (like ice), and the water pressure is a little low in the shower. However, the cabin sits up on the mountain and the water has to travel up, so it was to be expected. However, that wouldn’t stop me from staying and I actually plan to do another trip with my girlfriends for some True Montana peace and quiet!

If your looking for quiet and slightly off the grid, this is it. The photos posted are true. It was nice sitting on porch relaxing. Perfect for two. Lakeside is a great small town. Just 60 min from Glacier NP, Whitefish Mt, and Flathead Lake is right there! The only semi-negative comment is cell phone service was not good for us (not owner issue) and the WiFi was very weak—this was communicated upon arrival. My better half work/life struggled to close out work tasks while at cabin. We would definitely stay again!

Great cabin in the woods with a view to Flathead lake in the distance. It was very clean, well stocked and the bed was comfortable. The porch was a great place to sit, enjoy the views and relax to quiet.

High temperatures during the day and uncomfortable nights trying to sleep. A day before we arrived, a forest fire broke out 25 miles south of the cabin. The property manager said the cabin had power with just a little smoke. Our first night it cooled down around 12am. Not much smoke that night, but the second night was very uncomfortable to sleep. We woke up to a lot of smoke. So much smoke it irritated my wife’s asthma. We couldn’t stay any longer and checked out 2 days earlier. It wasn’t safe to stay in that area for health reasons. Since the cabins are in the approximate area of that forest fire, the property owner should know it isn’t a pleasant place to stay until the fire us extinguished.

We had a small sisters’ (4 of us) retreat with our mom, a niece(5yo) and a nephew(4yo). It was a little snug, but we made it work with a couple travel cots we brought along for the kids. We also enjoyed the Lakeside Community park and beach and had a great dinner at Tamarack Brewery. I definitely recommend this as a place to stay and visit!
