Mountain and Ski Slope Views from this Third Floor Rustic Mountain Retreat are Fabulous (2 Bedrooms & 3 Bathrooms) here at Black Bear Lodge across the street from Silver Lake Village in Upper Deer Valley! Winter & Summer is bustling on the mountains. The lifts (5-minute walk) take you to some of the most incredible ski and bike runs. Whether it is hiking, fishing, Olympic Training Center, there is something for everyone. Summertime is a great time to shop the 'Old Towne' art galleries, and restaurants, as many offer great 2/1 meal specials. Whether it is skiing, mountain biking, strolling glamorous Silver Lake Village, enjoying the private hot tub on the deck, or just enjoying a good book … this is the place to be! After your scenic 45 minute 'easy' drive from Salt Lake City Airport, drive into your underground heated parking lot, unload the car(s), and step into the very convenient garage elevator that will whisk you away and up to the open-air third-floor rustic-wood walkway, step out of the elevator and there you are just steps from warmth, your full kitchen and breakfast bar, custom rustic furnishings, interior log accents, a natural stone gas fireplace, 2 En suite Bedrooms with king size beds and whirlpool baths, and picturesque mountain views as far as the eyes can see. Included for our guests: Private hot tub on the deck, gas fireplace, wireless internet access, three TVS, full kitchen, elevator access, heated underground parking. This unit has 3 full bathrooms. Also included: Private stacked washer/dryer Black Bear Lodge amenities: Heated outdoor pool and spa (Summer and Fall), BBQ area and exercise room for the entire complex..(Presently closed due to COVID) *We offer an additional/separate 2-bedroom/2 bath unit on 4rth floor --VRBO #871177 'Rustic Elegance' 453 Trip Cancellation Insurance STRONGLY RECOMMENDED during ski season: December 15th - April 15th! All guests purchasing 'trip cancellation insurance' for reservations between December 1 and April 15th, will receive a credit off their stay of $25 per day; and they will also have the option of canceling their reservation, up to 48 hours after it is made, with no penalty. *VRBO and Homeaway abide by our strict cancellation policy; however, Airbnb does have an extenuating circumstance clause. *We have a flexible cancellation policy during times when COVID19 restrictions prevent the use of Deer Valley Ski Facilities and/or prevent air travel into or out of Salt Lake City. Cancellations and full refunds will be given to paying guests, should both Park City and Deer Valley Ski Resorts be shut down for skiing, during their reservation--due to Covid restrictions. I can’t overstate how perfect the location is. Less than a 5min walk (in ski boots) to the Silver Lake Lodge/lifts. The condo was perfect for our family of 5! Plenty of room, very clean and the third bathroom eliminated the early morning fights when getting ready for the slopes. The furniture was newer than the pictures in the listing. Other reviews said the place was a little dated, but we didn’t find that to be the case at all. It’s rustic, but the pictures show that with the stone fireplace and bare-wood, log walls. I don’t consider that to be dated, especially since it’s exactly as shown in the pictures. Tons of closet storage kept our gear out of the way. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay. It GREATLY exceeded our expectations. Looking at dates for 2025 to book again!!!

When we first got there, we needed a 10 digit code. An e mail came to us 3 times. We could never find the code. We finally got in by using the key!! Thank goodness!!
The drapes in the master bedroom were off the wall, and the lamp shades were loose and falling to the side. Then the water faucet in the kitchen didnt work. The corner of the sleeper bed was broken too.
Now, saying that all the things got fixed. But when you're on a vacation that's not what you want to worry about.

Spent time here with the family for skiing at Deer Valley. Only issue was the foldout couch bed in one of the bedrooms made it difficult to get to the bathroom. Other than that everything was great. We needed some additional wash clothes and the host responded immediately and we had more the next day. Would stay again!

Our stay was short, but the whole family enjoyed our stay. Beautiful condo, and the view was so pretty. Enjoyed the fireplace and the stocked kitchen with coffee for the adults and hot coco for the kids.

Great Condo in Deer Valley
Spent a weekend in this condo with another couple when we came to Deer Valley for a birthday celebration. The location is ideal, across the street from Silver Lake with great restaurants, hiking, biking, etc. Unit was well-appointed with everything we needed. It was very clean (except the porch needed sweeping) and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen was great. Parking garage was very convenient. Took a while to figure out texting (rather than email) was best way to communicate with property owner re: questions, etc. Would stay here again, and I highly recommend this condo!

Solid Place to Stay
Well located mid mountain, easy access to what Deer Valley has to offer. Everything worked well including hot tub on the balcony, AC (stayed in July), appliances, garage parking. Located on the road into ski area so some road noise 8-5. We'd stay there again.

Our family of six had a wonderful stay in Park City. The condo was exactly what we were looking for. Two bedrooms and three bathrooms made this an ideal set up. The kids were able to have a bedroom and bathroom all to themselves. We made most meals in with everything we needed was available in the kitchen. It was a short drive to downtown, for a few nights eating out if we didn't use the shuttle. The hot tub was a big hit for all. We had a great time in the summer but I am sure it would be even a better stay in winter.

The location and condo are very nice, but unfortunately there were issues that were very frustrating with this stay. First, there were several huge boxes that had been delivered that took up a lot of space in the living room making it very difficult to pull out the hide a bed. The refrigerator was brand new but not fully assembled with lots of foam and fillers so we could barely fit a few breakfast items and nothing else. The worse part that there was no hot water so none of us could take a shower- it was freezing cold. One of the property owners happened to call about visiting the property to have something measured so I told him about the water issue. I had already called or texted the number on the checkin info without hearing back. He came, "wiggled the plug" and said he wasn't sure why the water wasn't hot because when he turned it on he felt warm water and assumed it would get hot. The insinuation was that we didn't turn the handle the right way. That night and the next morning, not hot water- not even warm! I called again and he came up and finally found that the hot water heater was unplugged! I also was awakened by a text at 11:30 pm finally responding the the water issue by the other owner! It was a very frustrating stay.

Beautiful, immaculate, comfortable condo in Deer Valley. Perfect having your own jacuzzi especially during Covid-19. Would definitely comeback in the winter.

The place was perfect for our ski weekend. Just steps away from silver lake village and only a couple minute drive from downtown park city. The condo was very well stocked with everything you need. Place was clean, comfortable and spacious!
