About this cottage rental
Nestled in South Haven, this lovely cottage for $232 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This unit is available October to May, after which it is rented as part of the whole complex of 3 cottages. The heated pool is open May 1 - late October. Using new CDC guidelines for cleaning and Electrostatic disinfection like major chains. Deluxe patio with water feature and fire pit. This unit has laundry room There is Pool and Pool house. This unit shares pool with the 2 bedroom and 6- bed main cottage if rented. Dog>1 year old permitted with prior permission based on occupancy and must be leashed at all times. Dogs must sleep on dog bed or in dog crate and not be in bed or on sofa. Dogs should be current on shots and tick and flea treatmentDog not permitted inside pool fence. No cat permitted. No smoking, drugs nor Vaping on property. This intimate cottage is great for a getaway for a couple. It has a separate king bedroom with door to kitchen and living area. It is a full kitchen with eat in area and open to a small living room with sofa and 2 low Dunbar easy chairs. Updated with new electric, new plumbing, Central Heat and Air, luxury bed and linens, and attached new laundry room (which may be shared during the day with 2 bed cottage) . This can be a romantic spot for a couple with some beach and adventure too. We supply beach towels, beach chairs and bikes to use during your stay. This cottage is part of a larger complex with 6-8bedroom house( vrbo.com/706370) and 2 bedroom cottage(vrbo.com/706369) next door which may be combined for larger occupancy. Each cottage has its own deck or patio space that are separated. Cottage includes: 1 King bed with luxury linens Full bath with granite counter, tub shower Bedroom has King bed, hardwood floors, ceiling fan and windows in two directions. Living room with low Dunbar lounging chairs and sofa. Has Central Heat and Air conditioning, Comcast Premium Cable TV and WIFI internet. Attached but locked off laundry room. Kitchen has gas stove, dishwasher, sink with disposal, refrigerator/freezer, Microwave, all new dishes, serve ware and appliances. In kitchen dining or workspace. Out front there is a patio with dining chairs and fountain. Short walk to town for dining or entertainment. There is private parking in back. Short stroll across the street to sandy beach with no steps. Please note: Your entrance will be from parking lot in back Weekly Summer rentals Friday-Friday Note: The pool is private for my 3 cottages( 1,2 and 6-bed) when cottage is rented separately. There is security camera on the parking lot and pool area.

The house was very good organised and clean. Nice appliances and perfect personal staff. The communication with host was excellent. We stayed at the property couple days. It’s a great place for all seasons: close to the beach and downtown of South Haven. We visited New Year’s Eve celebration. It was great event in the city.

This property was perfect for us. Across the street from the beach and close to downtown. The property was super clean, fully stocked, and even had a little christmas tree decorated in family room. Marta had cheeses in the fridge, wine and snacks on the table. She provided everything we needed for coffee each morning. This host has thought of everything. We will definitely be back. Hoping to stay in one of the larger units with friends and family. Thank you for being so thoughtful.

The town is very quiet, many shops and restaurants closed or with limited hours but it made the available options more personal. Cottage is comfortable and extremely clean. I wish the weather was a little better so we could have utilized the outdoor areas but the fireplace is cozy.

Marta was the perfect hostess. She sent detailed instructions ahead of time. Checked in with us on our day of arrival to make sure we made it ok. We stayed in cottage A and I would highly recommend it if you are looking for some downtime with that special someone. It was just what the doctor ordered! Thank you Marta for your hospitality.

This cottage was in a class by itself. Marta thought of everything. Easy check in. The court yard was very nice. The cottage was very clean and had everything you could need. The suggestions for things to do as well as dining were a great help. Definitely try Julia’s and six chicks for dining. Beautiful park across the street and the beach beyond that. Neighbors were friendly and even a mini market a short walk away. Pet friendly. Would definitely come back. South Haven is such a quaint town.

This vrbo is fantastic. Marta took care of us down to the smallest detail. The extras in the kitchen are a bonus (coffee, spices, snacks, etc). We only wish the weather had been warmer, so we could have taken advantage of the bikes and pool! Hope to be back again! Thank you!

We were greeted by the manager, she was very helpful with showing us around, how to use the codes and the entire property. We stayed a week, there were lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Only negative was there weren't many pet friendly areas.

This was perfect for my self and my old pup Harley. We walked the beach in the morning and evening. and enjoyed the front porch to lounge in the sun and read. The weather was perfect and Marta was extremely helpful. Can’t wait to come back

Marta's cottage was just the perfect spot for a short weekend away for our small family. We brought our 7-month old and dog. The size of the cottage was just right for all of us. Marta had a pack and play ready to go for our baby, which worked out fantastically. Location is across the street from a park that leads to the beach and a 10-minute walk to the shops in town. Overall, it was a great stay. Marta had beach chairs available and a cart to easily transport beach gear around. We were greeted with some nice treats and music playing on the TV when we arrived. We'd definitely stay here again!

Cottage was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The home was very clean and well stocked. The pool and outdoor areas of the property were beautiful. We enjoyed great meals and the most beautiful sunsets that only South Haven can offer. Marta was a wonderful host and I would totally recommend rhis property.

Perfect cozy cottage for 3
My husband, 11-yo daughter and myself came for a couple nights during our Spring Break at the end of March. The cottage is clean, cute and cozy and had everything we needed. The towels were thick, the King bed and the roll away were both comfortable. The weather ended up being chilly and windy but we still walked the beach & dunes several times and enjoyed good food at the local restaurants. Everything is easily accessible. We plan to come back!

South Haven Heaven
Stayed in Marta's property in South Haven and it was heaven. The place was well stocked with supplies and even a few treats. We had perfect weather and were able enjoy the pool and fire pit. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of downtown and across the street from Lake Michigan. It was a wonderful stay.

Marta’s property is adorable, convenient, and has everything you will need. She had beach chairs available for us to take to the beach, which is right across the street from the home. We could walk into town in <10 minutes, the pool was available but we didn’t have time to use it. Marta was available via text which was so convenient. Would stay again!
