About this house rental

Nestled in Panzano In Chianti, this lovely house for $170 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Panzano in Chianti is a lovely little hilltop town, located just above Greve, midway between Florence and Siena. On its slopes, a mere 20 metres from its centre, is a residential area in which lies our apartment - in fact, this is Casa Conca d’Oro’s great strength - the fact that guests can easily walk into the centre of Panzano’s shops, bars and restaurants, without having to get the car out. A comfortable apartment, its other great advantage is the naturally shaded, fenced-in garden, terraced, with views down over the atmospheric hills of Chianti - a wonderful well-kept area in which to relax, dine, with the use of the barbeque area, or just for drinks while the sun goes down. Panzano possesses the essential shops, banks and chemist, and is noted for a particular butcher shop called Cecchini - this is the famous ’butcher of Panzano’, who will greet customers with a glass of wine and maybe sing an aria or two while you select your cuts of meat. Our apartment is on one of the roads that leads into the town’s centre. Private off-road parking. Twelve steps lead down to the furnished garden and barbeque area. No children are allowed up to 10 years. Extra costs are payable at location: Visitor's tax 1 euro per person per day - Heating cost 2,0 euro per MC Outside eating area with barbecue Ground Floor: Sitting/dining room with TV SAT, wifi and open fireplace for which the owner will provide free firewood Small kitchen with electric oven, 4 stoves, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and kettle Small utility room with washing machine Two double bedded rooms, one with en suite shower room, WC etc. Bathroom with WC etc. Panzano in Chianti (Shops and restaurants) 0,1 Km Greve in Chianti 6 Km Firenze 33 Km Siena 36 Km San Gimignano 41 Km Arezzo 77 Km

My friend and I had a wonderful stay in Panzano. The little village that has most everything, quite surprising! Good restaurants and a fun enoteca! Everyday we came back to our charming house. Thank you Matteo!

This was my eleventh trip to Italy, and staying at this villa made it rank among the best. This villa was everything promised in the listing and more—much more. Sitting on a hill in the storybook town of Panzano, it boasts a stupendous view of the Tuscan countryside and a beautiful, peaceful garden in which to relax and gaze upon it—while enjoying some of the local wine and cheese. It is a five- minute walk to the center of town, where we went to have our morning cappuccino and every evening for dinner at one of the fabulous restaurants there The villa is perfectly located for day trips to Florence, Sienna, other Tuscan mountain top cities, and local wineries. When we arrived , Marcello, the owner was there to provide a warm Italian welcome and show us around the property, of which he was so obviously very proud. He left two bottles of homemade wine on the table with a welcome note. Thank you VRBO and Marcello for making this property available to us.
