Superb

wonderful old house with a modern interor, tastefully decorated. everything you need is there. very calm, view over the valley. in the heart of Chianti, perfect for trips to beautiful Siena, Florence and San Giminiano. the small village is calm but offers everething you need close by. very nice hosts.

Great location, lovely hosts, with some scope for updates to facilities.

The location was fab - with wonderful views, on the edge of a lively, pretty hill town so that the market, restaurants, coffee, gelato were all just a short stroll away. The apartment is within an easy drive of Florence, Siena and San Gimignano… and we had safe, off-road parking for our hire car. The information provided about things to do/see, where to shop, eat, bus timetables was exceptionally well organised and useful. The hosts were lovely and on our last evening Rosalba cooked us a delicious Tuscan meal (this can be arranged with at least a day’s notice).

Unfortunately the boiler broke during our stay which meant no hot water for two days. However it was super hot weather during our stay so cold showers were pretty bearable, and the hosts did their best to arrange a repair as soon as possible. After the repair, the downstairs shower still seemed to run cold and had low pressure, but the upstairs shower worked well, so we just used that instead. The weather was extremely hot during our stay (in the 30s during the day and around 28 degrees at night) which meant some of us found it difficult to sleep despite the fans in the bedrooms and traditional shutter system. However, we are used to living in the cool (and rain!) of Wales (UK) so others might not find the heat such an issue.

An enchanted cozy stay in Tuscany where the vineyards and olive groves shape the landscape

We already miss this place. We love everything and enjoyed our time staying here. Cozy and comfortable stay for our family. The view is amazing and it's located in little town Panzano, with best view in Tuscany. We love Rosalba's homemade cooking and also Roberto's paintings decorating the house. The kitchen is well equipped, the garden has beautiful view. We will definitely come back here.

Nothing, we are sad to leave this place. We wish we could stay longer.

FABULOUS STAY IN A REAL TUSCAN ENVIRONMENT WITH WONDERFUL HOSPITALITY

We really enjoyed our stay in the self contained cottage. It was very rustic and typically Tuscan which was exactly what we were looking for. Rosealba, the host was such a lovely person. She cooked a delicious dinner for us on the day we arrived and a very special birthday dinner for my husband. The kitchen was well equipped, Tuscan style, no coffee maker except the drip kind, no microwave everything else was there. The whole cottage was very spacious with high ceilings. The view from the patio was lovely over the valley. The little town of Panzano was delightful and the small market on Sunday was great. we enjoyed the treats the host left us plus her own home made olive oil and jam. If we are ever visiting Tuscany again we would stay in the same accommodation pampered by Rosealba.

We had a problem with the shower when we arrived (no pressure) but it was promptly fixed the next day. I would however, leave a word of caution. Right now everything is great but there are some things that need to be looked after in the very near future to ensure that Podere la Casa continues to receive top marks

We were warmly greeted by the owner. Beautiful apartment which is very tastfully renovated. Kitchen is very well equipped. Lovely outside space and nice view. Good location to visit nearby towns.

Beautiful big, quiet cottage just amazing for Panzano !

Amazing place, we had originally booked to stay for 3 nights and decided to extend for 4 more days. Location perfect steps away from shops yet property away from main road and so quiet and overlooks beautiful Tuscan vineyards. Cottage photos don't do this place justice as it is huge, big kitchen, 2 story cottage with big bedroom upstairs. Lovely owners, Rosalba made us delicious home cooked meal one evening. We did not want to leave this place at all ! We will be back once Covid over! We absolutely loved this place please stay here as it is so worth it.

We were welcomed very friendly and the house is even better than on the pictures. We had a very nice view over the landscape and could even see the birth house of Mona Lisa. We would definitely recommend this place!
