Everyone working on this project is extremely aware of the extended duration of the project, the ongoing inconveniences to owners and their guests and scheduling around our ever-changing weather patterns. The additional spalling and post tension cable damages have had a huge impact on the schedule. Thank you to each and every one of you at the Princess for your understanding that we are getting closer to the end of this major project. Update We are looking at March 1, 2024, as a soft deadline for completion of the spalling and post tension cable damage repairs. There was significant damage to floors 5, 10, and 12. The post tension cable damage and the coordination with various team members as well as the weather has significantly caused the delays. Several repairs must be accessed from a swing stage on the parking lot side of the building on floors 16, 8, 5, 4 and 3. The two lanais on the 10th floor will be repaired last and will need to be accessed from a swing stage on the ocean side of the Princess to repair the damaged post tension cable. Beautiful condominium on the ocean with private Lanai (balcony) with views of the whales and dolphins or you can watch the sea turtles. Great place to watch the sunset, too! Quiet area with Beautiful Pool and Spa. Fully furnished Resort condo with all the amenities of home. Comfortable condo with murals painted on the walls by a local artist (Elbert East). Close to golfing and right out your door is a great place to go scuba diving or snorkeling. Visit Diamond Head, Honolulu Zoo, Polynesian Cultural Center, Sea Life Park, Dole Pineapple farm or just relax and watch the surfers. Great place for a family vacation with a beautiful beach and relaxing atmosphere. Located on the fifth floor of the Famous Hawaiian Princess Resort! Beautiful 180 degree views of the valley from the entrance and gorgeous views of the ocean from the lanai. High Speed Wireless internet available for free. Beach is usually more children friendly during the Spring and summer months with smaller waves. Fall and Winter months have higher surf. Unit has A/C, but most guests are comfortable with the pleasant trades winds that blow providing fragrant breezes and wonderful sounds of the ocean. Our Building has water-cooled A/C which is not the same as the Air Conditioning that people are accustomed to. It will cool the unit, but it does not get really cold. 69-70 Degrees is about the maximum cooling. If you prefer a cooler environment, you may want to find another building as all the units at the Princess have the same type of A/C. Come find Paradise here at the Hawaiian Princess!
