Located in Norris Lake, this lovely house for $1,365 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. This 9 bedroom home has a whopping 6500 sq. ft - the largest rental home by square footage on Lake Norris. Beautifully architected CUSTOM BUILT Lakefront HOME, located in the highly desirable Deerfield Resort with first class amenities. You’ll notice the uniqueness of this home from the moment you enter the front door into a massive great room with 25'ceilings and walls of giant windows overlooking Norris Lake and Chuck Swan Wildlife Reserve. **Prior to submitting questions, you must read entire note section below. ** The enormous great room seamlessly blends into the large kitchen and large dining room. Your family and friends will gather with plenty of space for making memories.If you still need more room, the overly large Lower Level recreation room doubles your space. Your group will spread out playing games and watching the big game or the latest movies. Soak those bones in your private hot tub >> we really do change the water between rentals. Rare for Norris Lake this home has an acre of flat yard for the kids to run and play and provides a gently slope leading to the private dock. Enjoy stories around the fire pit. Your private dock has two boat slips with room for extra parked on the outside. The upper deck provide enormous space for everyone to soak up the sun. Due to liability reasons, we cannot provide flotation devices. We do provide the giant floating dock. The camp chefs will love the large, open kitchen and it oversized center island. Two refrigerators, two dishwashers, two sinks add the perfect touch. The outside deck has a huge propane grill (free propane). For, dessert roast marshmallows over the outside firepit. For low cost firewood delivery, simply text the number posted on the frig. These nine bedrooms offers everyone with a comfortable place to rest. The jumbo sized bunk room provides an unbelievable four sets of double bunk beds and two queen beds AND still has space for the kids to play and watch TV. Make sure to survey the bedroom section for details. Due to ridiculous liability reasons, we cannot provide children related items. They also get recalled the moment we assemble them. Deerfield Resort offers a FREE community swimming pool (approx 3/4 mile away), a challenging 18 hole "The Greens" (approx 3 miles away), and a small airstrip (approx 3.5 miles away). Please note that some of these amenities may have fees such as aircraft landing fees and golf green fees. The nearest marinas are Nearest marinas for watercraft rentals are Springs & Shanghai. Also contact Norris Lake Watersports and Oasis Water Sports. Wifi is fast at 25Mbps, unlimited, free, and secure. A gentle sloped driveway leads to the dual parking areas directly in front of the house. Notes:*** This property requires an inquiry prior to submitting a booking request. *** The contact information including name, phone number, and email address must belong to the primary 'Guest' - the sole person responsible for booking this home. The house was perfect for our group of 30 - ages 3 - 70+. We had plenty of room for everyone. The 3 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers and 2 living rooms made the logistics so much easier to deal with. The views were stunning and there were so many deer! We couldn't have chosen a better home for our week long wedding adventure.

Absolute perfect stay for our large group of 25+. The home has gorgeous views from the entire rear of the home. The large deck off the family room is where we spent lots of our time. We had two wakeboats so the double boat dock was perfect. The large well equipped kitchen allowed us to cook for the large group with no issues. The house is well maintained and very clean. The large bunk room was great for extra space as well. My only thoughts for others to note is the house does sit on the main area of the lake, we did not get much floating time due to traffic on the water creating a lot of waves, same with the upper deck on the water. The waves definitely cause the upper deck to move significantly so we chose not to spend much time up there. Overall we were extremely impressed and happy with Field of Dreams!

We chose this house largely due to the flat ground, less steps and number of bedrooms / bathrooms. We had small children that we did not want to worry about falling. The house was perfect! The openness of the house was wonderful for our large group and we did not feel crowded. The kitchen had everything we needed and the large ice machine saved us so much time and money by not having to drive and purchase ice for our coolers and drinks. The yard was great to play outdoor games. Prior to our stay the owner always answered our questions very quickly and we had no issues to contact him for during our stay. We thought the house was great and would definitely recommend staying here. Hopefully we will be able to plan another vacation here!

Property was in a very remote location. This may be fine in warmer months but inconvenient to travel to places in the area from there. The house had everything we needed. The fireplace was not working and we had no response from anyone regarding this. It would have been nice to have this again as it was a bit colder. The dock also was floating and not brought to shore until the middle of our stay. We were unable to fish at that time and that was one big reason we chose this place. Great layout in the house for a group and most likely a great place to stay in warmer months.

This is a great property on Lake Norris. Our larger group loved the house and the instant access to the water. We had an issue with the kitchen sinking leaking but the maintenance crew was right in it and had us up and running in about 2 hrs. We would definitely stay again.

After over a year of being apart due to the pandemic, my immediate family (my parents, grandparents, uncles/aunts, cousins, and our kids) were so excited to get together for a big family Christmas. John’s place was perfect for our group of 20+. We had an amazing time. The house and property was immaculate! Beautiful views, attractive and cozy accommodations, and an overall perfect setting made things absolutely perfect.
The place was HUGE, clean, beautifully decorated, and everything we needed was there. John was great during booking and the check in process was seamless. This trip was everything my family hoped for plus more.
While the location and views are stunning once you get to the property, the drive there is a scary one. Be prepared for narrow, windings roads, with some very steep cliffs to climb. For the 30 mins it took us to climb those mountain hills carefully, I was absolutely terrified.
Scary drive aside, the views will take your breath away while you’re there. And plan to stay there because you only want to make that scary drive twice: to come and to leave. Lol. This is not the place to go if you want to move around a lot in my opinion. Lucky for us we had no plans to do anything but spend time together, resting and relaxing. The location is absolutely perfect for that.
Other than the scary drive, I’d say our experience was perfect. I did ask several questions in preparation for our trip that were left unanswered (i.e. Would a Christmas tree be there, decorations, could we have things delivered in advance, area activities, etc.) but we just brought our own tree, decor, etc., and after arriving at the property I realized several of my questions were moot. Amazon was not making that drive and we weren’t going anywhere. Lol. Overall, we definitely had a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend this property. Thank you John for helping our family reunite in a beautiful place ♥️

I called and texted the owner with no response, the security guard and VRBO tried to reach him too, with no luck. We finally got in the next morning by about 10am, after spending hours in 28F weather. The house and property are nice, but it’s remote so make sure you have everything needed: no soap, no trash bags, no dishwasher detergent, no TP, etc.

Great location. Many of our group did not show up so we had plenty of extra space. Nice location. We already knew that the property was going through off-season maintenance, so some of the small things weren’t an issue.
Will definitely consider renting again.

-A dock patrol came by to adjust dock due to changing water levels there was a mistake made and they didn’t rehook a cable and the dock and ramp moved considerably and we could no longer step from stairs on to ramp to get to the dock. When I informed property manager with a picture, and informed him this was unsafe he replied to my message with a phone # to call and contact to ask them to come back and fix . I thought this was very unprofessional. They should have followed through on this not expected the guest to do that !

-They aren’t kidding when they say no supplies and to bring your own
There is no soap , 1 roll of Paper towel , 1 roll TP in each bathroom , no beach towels at all and 4 towels per bathroom
--If doing boat rentals especially in the summer- plan ahead as they run out and we highly recommend Oasis Watersports, Eric was great to deal with and they were very quick to respond when we thought we had an issue ( was our user error🤷♀️)

Our family group is quite large and this property held all of us comfortably. Unlike most other properties on the lake, this one has a large back yard that is a gentle slope - so nice for the kids to run around in! The central gathering area was also perfect for us, and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms gave us enough space to house everyone.
However, because we visited in the off-season, it seemed like a few things had slipped in the care and maintenance of the property. There were some issues with cleanliness and damaged items in the home when we arrived. Fortunately, the manager of the Field of Dreams property was quick to communicate back and address our issues, and seems to be putting some measures in place to ensure some of the problems don't happen again.
Overall, though, staying here was a great experience that my family enjoyed!

The place was not really very clean when we arrived and we had to wipe down countertops and sweep the floors. But with Covid we figured no one had stayed here in a while. Other then that one issue our stay and the place were absolutely perfect for our family of 30 plus people! Would definitely rent again.

It ended up on the shore after they did something with the cables that hold it to the shore. We had plenty of room for the 24 people we had their. I do wish there was a second microwave and stove, to be honest. The three fridges and I’ve maker were awesome!! Would love to stay there again!

We loved our stay at this home. Beds are very hard so if you like soft beds bring memory foam toppers with you. Someone came and messed with the dock. It ended up on the shore after they did something with the cables that hold it to the shore. We had plenty of room for the 24 people we had their. I do wish there was a second microwave and stove, to be honest. The three fridges and I’ve maker were awesome!! Would love to stay there again!
