About this chalet rental
This renovated 5 bedroom vacation home has a large open common space, spacious deck with a hot tub and a large patio with a stone fire pit. The home is conveniently located six miles from both Hunter and Windham Mountains. Ground floor has two bedrooms (1 queen,1 full and 1 twin size bed and 1 queen and twin bunk beds) with shared bathroom, laundry room. Main floor consists of living room, 1 bedroom (1 king size bed with 48' HDTV), 1 bedroom ( 1 queen, 1 full and 1 twin size beds), 1 bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with an island that can sit up up to 8 people and a dining room that seats 8-10 people. The great room has hardwood floors, floor to ceiling windows with sliding doors , wrap-around sectional, a fireplace with gas burning logs, cathedral ceilings, 55' HDTV, DVD, sound system. Third floor has a loft with 32' HDTV and another large bedroom (1 king, 1 full and 1 twin bed) with private bathroom, as well as dual fireplace. This is an ideal home for entertaining.
The house is located close to two major NY alpine skiing areas but can be enjoyed any time of the year. There is a creek across the road where one can swim and fish, there are two lakes (Colgate and North/South), - 20 min drive. Roads are perfect for bicycling. There are multiple hiking trails within 30 min drive all around. Woodstock and Phoenicia (popular art destinations) are 40 min away. There are also two major music festivals held at Hunter Mountain in the beginning of every June, Celtic festival in September and Oktoberfest.

Extended family and I came to Catskills for a wedding in July. Such a beautiful and well-stocked home. Great room was a fantastic space. Loved the deck, hot tub and fire pit. Comfy beds, nice baths. Angela was a pleasure to deal with, and my deposit was returned quickly. A totally successful weekend.
