Location and character are great

The shower can be a little tricky to use.

Everything in Clarksdale was only a drive of 3-6 minutes which we loved. The breakfast was self-serve but quite adequate: bagels, breads, cereal, yogurt, fruit, coffee. You are pretty much on your own since there isn't a staff person on property all the time- but this was not really an issue for us. The room was spacious and very clean. The home is historic and thus old, but very well maintained.

IF someone would like a staff person constantly available, they may not enjoy this hands off approach. It was not an issue for us and Hannah responded to our texts as well as gave us suggestions for dinner, etc.

This was the second time we have stayed at Clark House Inn. The property has real character and is conveniently located to the town of Clarksdale.

The shower in our room was a little difficult to work. I think it could do with a new fitting and one that is more straight forward. We were unsure if the top cover on our bed had been washed as it smelled a little musty. If it wasn’t for these issues then i would have scored a 10/10
