Peaceful neighborhood, very green, non touristic and relaxing. The house is located inside a hacienda, surrounded by fruit trees and a vineyard. The house is very well equipped with a full kitchen and laundry facilities and even an indoor bbq/wood fire oven! Edgar and his father excel at looking after their guests, willing to let us check-in very very late at night when our flight arrived in Madeira; always attentive and ready to help make our stay unforgettable.
The bad side of so much nature around the property is some mosquito management can be necessary. The house stays cool enough, but we visited Madeira through a heatwave; thankfully Edgar came to the rescue with a table fan that made the nights much more comfortable.
