Worse hotel stay.

The hotel was crappy. There was no reception in the hotel, no heating in the rooms, no restaurant, poor beds, no tea or coffee. Hotel was dirty and smelly. No staff for anything.

We arrived the hotel about 7:30pm and it was totally dark. There's only little lights on the second floor. The doors were locked. Noone was at reception. The parking lot was empty. We tried to call the hotel for 3 times but noone answered. We worried about our safety. So we walked in another hotel.

Don't judge a book by it's cover!!! (Late June 2022)

When we first drove up, we were worried of the state of the outside of the building. However, the Manager was very friendly with us and checked in on us during our stay. Our hotel room was great, clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great! At first, I thought the location was far from downtown, but after spending a week on the hotel and walking into town (10 minute walk), it was just the right location for us. At first we didn't know if the hotel had water access, however it did and we were able to take our paddle boards, right from the hotel. I will for sure stay here again.

Part of the hotel was under construction and their was no staff on site (lock box for key). We were informed of this information which was good to know a head of time. It was weird to be in a hotel with no staff and at times, we were the only ones staying. You could hear someone walking up the stairs and at times it sounded like someone was walking on the roof. I think this hotel has so much untapped potential and I really hope they keep improving the other parts of the hotel and cabins! Also, a black bear was taking a stroll down the street one night, while I was outside. So they are living in the neighborhood!!! :)

Quite happy...

Location was good, place is quiet and close to the bay. Mr Hassan the Manager was friendly and easy to talk to. He was accommodating in the sense that he was there to answer our queries by call &/or text msgs even b4 check-in.. The room doesnt have enough storage. There was microwave which was very handy and of good use to us. The washroom, room and bedlinens were generally clean. Overall I'd rate it 7/10.

The fridge emitted a strange odour each time I opened the fridge.

Location was good but the hotel was pretty bad with this price. The washroom door’s lock was broken then we had to call the staff to come and fix it, then we found out the shower nob was also broken then again we had to call staff to fix it. The room was so small for 4 people

The toilet flush was broken, there was no reception or office available. I left the room ride away and they were supposed to refund me the fee I have paid for a night which they have not!!!!! I should give a 0 as a rate if I could.

Its a little good but thete was no reception abd staff to guide. Only one person was shown up after phone call. He was a good guy and helped us to acco.modate. Ocer all its a good experiment but not up to the mark.

The overall area is good, full of sceneries ans green gardens and blue water of Tobermory.

Based on the other ratings i read I wasn't expecting much so expectations were definitely exceeded. There was a really large balcony over looking the lake where we watched the sun set. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was a typical hotel clean and functional.
