Completely private over a detached garage, all appliances and everything else is brand new. Gorgeous view of the mountains from the west facing panoramic window. Spa like bathroom with W&D. Chefs kitchen with large island, 5 burner gas stove, farmhouse sink, dishwasher and all the cooking supplies and utensils. Central air and heating. Queen bed with a pullout twin sleeper sofa for extra sleeping. TV and Wifi, with a smart TV for Netflix etc. Safe lighted street side parking. No smoking on the property. Key is a code lock. For a video tour search YouTube for "baselinebnb" Just minutes walk to coffee shops, breweries, restaurants, entertainment and the arts district in Historic old town Lafayette. Very charming old town with lots of mom n' pop stores. 1 block from the community recreation center with a gym, pool and exercise equipment. 1 block from acres of open space with walking trails. Some of the best breweries, restaurants and coffee shops in the region are just a short walk from the apartment.

Property itself is very nice, but the furniture is quite worn/old except for bed which was very nice and comfortable. Kitchen is great with mostly new/updated appliances, stocked with some basics like condiments, leftover coffee, etc. The immediate area is not the best and it is certainly average. There is a schoolyard next door, and a very busy street just 100 feet away. The noise was not a significant issue however. I would not call this a "historic area" although it is close enough to walk to one. Overall, given the relatively low cost per night, it is good value.

My son goes to CU Boulder so we got this great getaway when I came to visit. We felt safe in the neighborhood and could easily find places to eat, hike, and enjoy.

I was staying there to take a sick dog to the animal hospital in Boulder. The place was close enough to be convenient and Lafayette is very safe and charming I could walk to restaurants. The local bookstore was great. And there was nice open space within walking distance. The place itself was spotless and had everything I needed. Mark was very nice and stayed in touch. It was perfect for a single person. It would also work well for a couple or perhaps a family with small children (human or fur).

Great place to stay as a base for exploring around Boulder and surroundings. Communication with Mike through email was great and check in was a breeze.

Our stay was wonderful. Would not only recommend but we would stay here again. As cable subscribers at home, we were challenged by streaming tv. Would suggest some instructions to aid others like us. Not a deal breaker though since we didn't spend much time watching tv.

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. Everything about the apartment, the location and the check-in experience were outstanding. We live in Miami and have very dear friends who live just down the street from this apartment. We will definitely look to book it on our next visit!

Adorable carriage house, exactly as advertised. Designed and furnished in a hip, yet understated style, boasting a very comfortable bed and pillows, nice-sized kitchen, and roomy bathroom equipped with a shower with great water pressure, and washer/dryer. Excellent communication with host, Mark, who provided a binder of useful information upon arrival on the kitchen countertop. Just wish I had booked sooner to get a second night out of it. Thank you, Mark!

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was walking distance to the cute downtown, full of restaurants, bookstore, coffee shops, very fun! The apartment was very clean and the bed was comfortable, and a kitchen full of everything you need. Mark the host was very accommodating.

This garage studio was perfect for my short stay in Lafayette. I was able to walk to coffee shops, restaurants and breweries. The place was small but had everything that I needed for my stay.

The studio was just like the pictures and the location was perfect! Only about an hour and 10mins to the Rocky Mountain National Park, 20 minutes to Boulder, and 30 minutes to Denver. Downtown Lafeyette was very cute and I felt super safe. Highly suggest this for your stay if you are trying to get in a bunch of good hikes all around Colorado.

I was there for a work event. I work in Louisville and live 45 miles away. We had an event that had me working particularly long hours that week. It was perfect for what I needed. It was clean and everything worked. My only suggestion would be to add a full length mirror. Since I was dressing in full business attire, it would have been useful.

Mark's property was just like I expected it based on the listing. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, downtown Lafayette is within walk distance, as well as some nice trails and nature areas.

This was located in a beautiful spot and very convenient. There were plenty of shops, grocery stores and gas stations near the home. Mark was incredible as well as he cleared the path after it snowed all day and night! Highly recommend and I will be back!

Experience was great. The owner had a binder of things to do around the area, check in/out policy, and pet policy. Cleaning lady had gotten a late start so she was still mopping when we got there, but it didn’t bother us any. She was done by the time we brought all of our things up
