About this villa rental
Enjoy peaceful, and private "island living" overlooking the postcard waters of the Caribbean at ISLAND DREAMS.
Relax by the private pool while watching the sun rise over the British Virgin Islands. Spacious two-level living provides ample room for four guests to unwind and relax offering enough personal space for each guest.
The main level contains the kitchen any cook will appreciate with new appliances (2025), a generous wrap-around deck, large family room with pullout sofa (inquire about additional guests’ accommodation) and a full bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, a large granite island, and pretty much anything you could ever need. In the family room there is a desk for two and a Smart TV. A portable bluetooth Bose speaker has been added for you to use around the house as well.
Both bedrooms on the lower level are accessed via the outside stairs connecting the two levels and have high-end, king-sized beds with new pillows and linens. Each identical ensuite bathrooms are large and have all the amenities you'll need including body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Both enjoy double vanities and tiled walk-in showers. Each bedroom has commanding views of the Caribbean and open out on to a second covered deck. All spaces are fully air conditioned with individual room controls.
Recreational amenities include: snorkeling equipment (snorkel, fins, goggles), beach cooler, back-pack beach chairs, beach towels, floatation devices and a beach sun shade.
Outside features of the fully fenced villa include a private pool, tile lanai with lounge chairs, patio area with new BBQ grill adjacent to outdoor dining area. All surrounded by extensive tropical garden plantings.
Island Dreams is right above Coral Bay with grocery, restaurants, breakfast and Lime Out floating taco hut! Only 15 minutes from breathtaking national park beaches: Maho, Trunk and Cinnamon bay, and well-marked network of hiking trails. 25 minutes to galleries, fine-dining restaurants and ferries in Cruz Bay.
Island Dreams is capable of being completely self-sufficient in the case of a power outage with two power wall batteries. Whether an hour or a day, you should not notice any disruption to your electricity or internet service. Common sense steps taken ensure you are never without power during an extended outage as the system will recharge during the day.

We just returned from our trip to St John. Island Dreams was the perfect villa for our family. We wanted to feel off-grid without being off-the-grid tech wise. Coral Bay was perfect for that. We rented a jeep on St Thomas, grabbed a few grocery items and took the ferry to Cruz Bay. The drive to Coral Bay was a bit bumpy and wild but we got used to it (and driving on the left-hand side of the road) pretty quickly. You definitely need a 4 wheel drive. The island felt lush and rustic and authentically Caribbean.Once you got to Island Dreams you were at your own little oasis. We just loved it. It had a breath-taking view. We enjoyed sitting outside just looking out at the bay. There was always a nice breeze. The house was bright and welcoming. Great care has been used in anticipating guests' needs. I LOVED the color of the cabinets. The den area was comfortable and full of games to play. We had an epic 2 night monopoly game. There was also quite a selection of books to read. The bedrooms were spacious and everything was very clean. It was a little weird to have to go outside and downstairs to get to the bedrooms, but it added to the charm. We appreciated all of the beach items available to use. Loved the coolcabana and plan to get one ourselves!Here's the best part- St John and St Thomas were out of power for several days and WE NEVER KNEW IT until we heard people talking at the airport on the way home. So thankful we found this gem!

The house itself is ok, pleasantly decorated, but we did not like that you had to go outside to get to the bedrooms. While we were there, it rained and you would get stuck upstairs/ down or get wet. The lower showers had little water pressure and many times barely got warm (never hot), which makes it hard to rinse out hair and feel clean. It's also more windy on this side of the island, decreasing our pool time significantly. The bugs at night were bad and without any screened in area, we couldn't stay outside long or enjoy time on the porch. Lastly, the location of the house requires you to drive past the large dumpsters that had an awful smell, which we passed multiple times a day. The smell would linger in our vehicle for a while.
