We loved our stay. Great location and the apartment was very comfortable Loved the fact it has a washer and dryer! The owner was very responsive too.

It was clean and it had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was fully equipped in case we needed to use it. The owner was very friendly and always available for anything (they live upstairs). The neighborhood was quiet and safe and close to many shops and restaurants. Great location. I would definitely recommend it and we look forward to booking it again when we go back to Lima.

Excellent location and value
This place is amazing. We’re planning to return at first opportunity. Best location in Lima - a block from the Marriott in Miraflores. Close to restaurants, parks and shops. Apartment is clean, spacious and filled with all conveniences of home. Comfortable beds in two bedrooms and a complete kitchen. Great WiFi, a desktop computer and satellite TV. Very friendly and helpful owners. Our visit was only four nights this time, but we’ll definitely return for longer stays.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
This was my first visit to Peru and Hugo's apartment was a perfect choice. Hugo was helpful prior to my arrival, giving me all the information I need to ensure I made the right choice. As a retired, senior lady traveling alone, I was very satisfied with the area where the apartment is located. I was able to walk to grocery stores, restaurants, parks and public transportation was about 4 blocks away. The apartment was clean and well maintained. TV & wifi reception was good. There was even a desk computer & printer for my use. Hugo responded immediately to anything I needed & helped arrange taxi transportation to & from the airport. Although there is no air-conditioning, there are several large fans. I would definitely recommend Hugo's apartment to anyone looking for a safe, convenient place in Miraflores.

LOVE MIRAFLORES
First time I've stayed at a VRBO property and I was very satisfied. The owner Hugo quickly responded to my questions and was right there when we arrived at 2am from the airport. The apartment was just like the pictures !
Tastefully decorated and roomy as I was travelling with my husband and father to Lima. We couldn't have selected a better location as this property is only a few blocks from La Avenida el Larco where you can easily find a cab, an outdoor shopping mall and restaurants Larcomar, a beauty salon which I used called Encantos, and a beautiful church Fatima. There is also a lovely walking/running sidewalk stretch along the Pacific Ocean !!
The owner is very hospitable and available for any additional questions during your stay there.
We felt very comfortable and safe so of course we would recommend this rental apartment without hesitation.
I hope to go back to Miraflores and tour the country of Peru again as it is truly one of the Wonders of the World !!!

Excellent stay at the most confortable apartment
My husband and I stayed for three weeks at this apartment, located at the heart of Miraflores, short walk from Larcomar and the Malecon overlooking the Pacific Ocean, wonderful views!! It is also close to many of the best restaurants in the area, in the same block you can find two of the best restaurants. The street has a lot of Security, it is quiet and safe to walk at any time of the day and night. The owners were always very helpful and available at any time. We would certainly go back !

Comfortable and quiet
My husband and I stayed in this lovely apartment for one week in October 2015. The apartment itself is very comfortable, well accessorized, and very, very quiet. Having been in Peru many times, I can tell you that is very hard to find. The area and the apartment are also very secure. It is within walking distance to Larcomar, supermarkets, restaurants and public transportation. The owner, Hugo, could not have been more accommodating. Starting from my very late arrival, to the near day long delay in my departure flight. With little notice and no hesitation, Hugo made arrangements for my husband and me to stay in a nearby apartment so we didn't have to camp out at the airport for 15 hrs. We were able to enjoy one more day comfortably. I would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone who wishes to stay in Miraflores. Thank you Hugo for making our stay so pleasant.

This is a great place on a quiet street
My wife and I stayed at this property for a few days in June 2015. What a great place and Hugo could not have been more accommodating. More than that, I left something VERY valuable in the safe after we checked out. I called Hugo to let him know and he gathered it and held it for me until we traveled back through Lima on our return home. Hugo's honesty and trustworthiness are a testament to his good character. You can feel safe renting this great property.

Great for many reasons!!
My husband and I stayed here for several days at the end of June. The location of the apartment is fantastic. Quiet peaceful street yet only a few blocks walk to Larcomar. Hugo was easy to work with and available if needed. My apologies for not catching the woman's name...she let us in upon our arrival and gave us a thorough and friendly tour of the apartment. Everything you need is in the apartment, a huge plus for us was the washer and dryer as we were nearing the end of our trip. We will definitely stay here again on any return trips to Lima.

Beautiful, Convenient and Safe Place in Miraflores
My wife and I arranged to stay her in January 2015. We stayed for four days/nights during week one of April 2015. Throughout our email (VRBO) conversations with Hugo (Spanish and English), we received fast, prompt replies to all of our pre-travel inquiries. We provided, in advance, our complete itineraries to Hugo for him to arrange any assistance. We arrived (by driver from Cusco) at midday during the week, and we departed late Friday evening (by driver to the airport) to return home. Senora Catalina capably assisted us when we arrived, and Hugo visited us upon our departure. It was convenient to stay in such a beautiful, modern, clean and secure apartment with onsite assistance. The remodeled living, kitchen, bath and laundry areas have modern amenities including newer appliances as well as portable fans/air conditioner, flat screen TV, and home office with Internet/WiFi, computer and printer. The southern Miraflores District (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miraflores_District,_Lima ), near the water and north of the Barranco District (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barranco_District, is very affluent and secure. Without exception, the apartments, homes and businesses here use alarm systems and employ private security companies to compliment public police. We walked around Miraflores day and night and Barranco during the day, only requiring a taxi (from the J.W. Marriott Hotel) to travel to central Lima and to the San Isidro District (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Isidro_District, Lima) for dinner. The apartment is about 4-5 blocks by foot from Larcomar Mall (http://www.larcomar.com/) which overlooks the cliffs and the beach, where we shopped (familiar stores/brands), visited the ATMs (for all worldwide banks), and ate an occasional meal here too; chain restaurants including reputable Latin names as well, like Tanta, (http://www.tantaperu.com). As well, the mall has a nice grocery store named Wong (https://www.wong.com.pe/pe/supermercado/miraflores.html ) when you tire of eating out. Miraflores has several great restaurants very close by. Central Restaurante (http://centralrestaurante.com.pe/en/) is directly across the street from the apartment. Also, we at northern Peruvian food at Fiesta Restaurante just around the corner, (http://www.restaurantfiestagourmet.com/restaurante.html). Please, take a trip to Astrid y Gastón or La Barra in San Isidro (http://www.astridygaston.com/) too. Make restaurant reservations in advance, however. Muchas Gracias, Hugo!

Great spot to stay in Miraflores!
Found Hugo on VRBO and it was very easy to schedule our time at the apartment and he is very flexible on arrival times and payment. We ended up on a bus from Paracas to Lima later at night so his flexibility on payment the next day was huge so we could just get settled in and rested up before finding an ATM or Bank.
It's in a great spot in Miraflores a few steps from great restaurants - close enough to a main street to find taxis but not too close to hear any road noise. Laundry in unit was great since we'd been traveling already almost two weeks when we arrived. Coming home with all clean clothes is great!
Always responsive to email, Hugo answered all questions very quickly.
The apartment had everything and more for our stay plenty of space with separate bedrooms, TV room, computer, kitchen and laundry rooms along with a nice bathroom with a tall shower head.
Highly recommend this as a great place to stay!!

A Wonderful Place to Stay in Lima
My husband and I stayed in this beautiful apartment for 4 nights in August 2014. Our plane was late arriving in Lima (2:00 am) yet Hugo was waiting for us and showed us around the apartment. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and quite large. There are two large bedrooms with queen-sized beds and a lovely bathroom with walk-in shower. We had everything we needed to make our stay perfect -- well-stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, television room, and computer room complete with WiFi. The apartment is in a very safe and beautiful area of Miraflores. It is a short walk to the board walk and the beautiful Larco Mar mall. The restaurants in the area are superb. Hugo was very accommodating and drove us downtown one day and to the airport for our follow on flight to Arequipa. We would love to return some day and explore more of the area and we would definitely stay here again.

Incredible apartment
This apartment is fantastic! Hugo the owner has been such a treat.. From meeting us upon our arrival to giving us a tour of his beautiful city. We were surprised at how large this unit is..just steps away from everything..food, beaches, shopping..this apartment has everything including dishes, hair dryer, washer and dryer, great wifi and a home computer..I would highly recommend staying here! Thank you for making our first trip to Peru an incredible one

Extremely nice apartment
I arrived at the apartment and it was everything I thought it would be and more. The apartment was very clean. The owner was also very nice although we only met once. the location was great, just 2 blocks from Larco Mar and only 5 to 10 minutes to Kennedy Park. The apartment looks just like the photos so what you see is what you get. I had a great time and a great experience. Their were two things though, one the shower pressure wasn't that great but it was manageable and two, next door their was construction going on and it started at 7 am in the morning so if you are a late sleeper then you will become an early riser. I don't fault the owner and it won't last forever but is was a little annoying. Once they are finish you will love the stay even more.
I plan on returning to Lima and would love to stay in the same apartment again if its available as it is quite popular. Again, great location, great owner, great apartment, you won't be disappointed.

Very comfortable
My family and I (including my 2 year-old daughter) stayed here for 1 week at the beginning of this month. The stay was very comfortable. The bedrooms have very warm and plush bedding. It would get somewhat cold in the evenings so we would use the portable heaters that were provided. There is also a computer room with printer (and there is WI-FI)...very convenient!! The kitchen comes well stocked with cutlery, all types of dishes, pans, coffee maker, microwave and large frig. There is 1.5 bathrooms; the 1/2 bathroom does not have a wash but did not seem to bother anyone. The neighborhood couldn't be better. We were 10 minutes from LarcoMar (walking distance). There was a GREAT eatery called San Antonio also about a 10 minute walk. There was a bakery that was about 5 minutes away (Perlizza) that sold fresh bread, cheese, and ham. There were a bunch of other really nice looking restaurants that we didn't get to try. There is a gourmet market in the corner which was great as we bought olive oil here for our salads and chocolates as a gift. They also carry all types of wines, pastries, and other breakfast/lunch goodies. There are "tiendas" (very small markets) that sell pretty much everything from fruits, vegetables, dairy, paper products, etc. the neighborhood itself felt very safe and people seem very comfortable walking in the area at all times...nice to see people walking their pets in the evening. Lastly, a BIG thanks goes to Mr. Hugo for being so accommodating with the price as there was construction behind the apt which got to be pretty loud during the day and prevented the use of the outdoor patio...very courteous!! The construction also, in my opinion, affected the water pressure in the shower. All in all, I would truly recommend this place and we will definitely be returning here on our future trips to Peru.
