Shelley was the absolute BEST! Everything was just perfect. She really cares about you and your needs, which I appreciate. If you are looking for a relaxing atmosphere…this is the perfect place. My wife and I were in town for a weekend wedding so we decided to 3 days early to celebrate my wife's birthday before the rest of the family arrives on Friday. The house was very clean, and decorated very nicely with comfortable furniture. All bedrooms were furnished exactly like it was described on the website with VERY COMFORTABLE bedding. We were so comfortable....we did not leave the house until late afternoon the next day. We enjoyed the evening sunset from the private pier and back porch each night. After the family (7 people) arrived Friday afternoon, there were plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy privacy when needed. The bonus....my elderly parent enjoyed the adjustable bed to elevate their heads while sleeping at night while the 1 of 2 master suites was located on the main floor. Shelley (Owner) was very personable and efficient where she provided best in class customer service. The entire reservation process went smoothly. We're looking forward to returning to White Lake, but only if we can stay at this location!

Only thing we noticed was the back deck needs a cleaning and the back door was pretty black in the door jams. It was still perfect and we will be back. I just wanted the Ms Shelly to know in case she hadn’t been in a while.

Our family and 3 young kids (5 yo twins, 3yo) loved playing in the lake without having to wear floaties! It was shallow enough for the kids to stand and perfect for the adults to cool off. House was perfect and beautiful! Great space, lots of seating arrangements and sleeping areas. My husband and I sat on the dock every night watching the gorgeous sunset over the water! Would definitely go back!

Great family time in spite of rain! Loved dinner around the table. Could not get electrical outlets at garage to work so had to charge golf carts on side of house. Have sent our request for next year

Our host Shelley was excellent. We were originally supposed to stay June 3-9, but at the last minute I asked her if we could come down a day before on June 2nd. Shelley was quick to respond and accommodate us. We arrived around 9:15pm. Unfortunately, the air was not working upstairs and it was so hot up there, we all just ended up making pallets on the living room floor downstairs. Shelley was super quick to respond about the issue with the air even though this was 10 and 11pm! She had a tech come out to fix the air the very next day and all was well. There was an issue with the garbage disposal, but Shelley was open with me and warned me about it from the start. The house is very big. The king master is downstairs, then upstairs you have a queen bedroom, hall bathroom, twin bed and bunk bed room, sun room with a pull out couch, and another king master with a bathroom attached. There is also a separate laundry room downstairs with an extra refrigerator. The kitchen is large and has pretty much an appliance you need. You will need to bring things such as paper towels, aluminum foil, trash bags, dishwashing detergent, etc. You will also need to bring your own sheets and towels. The house has an upper and lower deck to on the back to enjoy the beautiful views of the lake and a private dock. The dock has plenty of seating and there’s a table we were able to enjoy dinner on a few nights. The water is clear and shallow. Great for kids!

Great location for attending wedding at "A Touch of Country"
This home is absolutely beautiful! Even though we didn't get to stay and enjoy the home as much as we would have liked to it was a perfect location for our niece and us to stay while decorating and attending her wedding at "A Touch of Country" wedding venue. We could not have asked for any place better. Would definitely recommend renting this home to anyone!

Better than the pictures
We chose this house because of the location to an event. We were pleasantly surprised by the newness of the house. The pictures made some of the rooms look outdated. It was not the case at all. It was light and airy and the bedrooms were beautifully decorated. The dock was a central hangout for us and the sunsets were spectacular. We will definitely be back!

We love this property and Dana makes everything easy from reservation through checkout. Neighbors were loud late into the first night but the rest of the week was quiet and everyone enjoyed our stay.

Excellent Rental
Amazing rental property for our family. It had EVERYTHING we needed-even a first aid cabinet!! Great pier and a beautiful house with the perfect number of bedrooms and bathrooms. We will definitely come again!!!
