Lazy Creek Cabin is a couples getaway with a great mountain view. The log cabin is located on a 165 acre farm between Roanoke (15 miles) and Lynchburg (30 miles) and close to Smith Mountain Lake. So leave your worries, pets and children at home and bring your spouse for a relaxing stay at Lazy Creek Cabin. Spend time in the hot tub or in the rockers on the front porch enjoying the view of the Peaks of Otter.

Truly the consummate couple's retreat. Jane was very thoughtful in preparing the place; she was equally available and easy to communicate with. The quiet immersion into nature on their lovely farm was a true respite to the soul. We cannot thank Jim and Jane enough for making this available. We treasure the thought of returning again!

Cabin was clean & had the basic cooking equipment. Bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately it rained each day and we were unable to use the hot tub. Mostly quiet location, some random light traffic noise in the distance. Saw deer, wild turkeys, groundhogs & rabbits. Enjoyed the rockers & small table & chairs on porch. Had fun fishing in the pond, caught about 2 dozen sunfish while watching the frogs, muskrats & great blue heron.

We enjoyed our stay in your lovely cabin during our visit for our daughter's graduation at Liberty University.. It was the perfect distance to drive to be away of all the heavy traffic during graduation. The property is beautiful and very quiet and peaceful. We hope to return someday.

Wonderfully maintained cabin and property. Quiet peaceful surroundings with great Mountain View’s. Hosts were responsive, helpful and friendly. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway
