It is in a beautiful, rural location, extremely tranquil and relaxing. It is rustic, so don't expect luxury, but it is very comfortable and Lina who runs the place could not be more welcoming, friendly, helpful, accomodating and a good cook as well.The gardens are fun to explore on a micro level and it is a very quick and easy walk down to the Rio Blanco (river) which is beautiful and very pleasant to walk along. There is a swaying, wood planked bridge to cross if that sort of thing frightens you, but it seems to be well-built and sturdy. Dinner was delicious and substantial as was the breakfast.
Not exactly easy to get to or from without your own vehicle. That didn't bother us much - a taxi driver friend gave us a ride there from Bogota, but to leave we needed to walk into the nearby (about 1 km) pueblo of La Unión, take a bus to another part of the town, then get another bus to the bigger town of Ubaque where we got the bus to Bogota. (It looked like there is a direct bus from La Unión to Bogota.) If for some reason you have a lot of luggage you should be aware of that. Although I would guess that if you need a car to pick you up at the hotel and take you somewhere, that can be arranged.

Un lugar muy tranquilo en medio de la naturaleza, cerca del río. Lina, nuestra anfitriona, excelente persona, atenta y amable todo el tiempo.

La atención de Lina es muy agradable y siempre presta a servir, muy pendiente si necesitas algo y contesta lo mas pronto que puede. El lugar es muy tranquilo y conectado con la naturaleza para alguien que desee estar desconectado de todo.
Se debe considerar que el lugar queda en la Union, por si alguien desea ir a la Chorrera o a Choachi debes tener transporte propio o te toca tomar bus ya que estas respectivamente a 40 y 30 minutos de distancia de estos sitios y tampoco tienes tiendas cercanas para comprar algo. En la ultima noche tuvo visitas y comprendemos que el compartir podrián olvidar que tenian huespedes y que deseabamos descasar temprano, entonces el ruido no nos dejo conciliar el sueño temprano. Pero de resto es un lugar muy agradable.
