Located in Palacios, this lovely house for $260 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Owners personal residence for many years so well-maintained. The downstairs living space called the Captain's Quarters includes a dbl bed, full size futon , full bath, and efficiency kitchen. The upstairs living space has 2 bedrooms with queen beds, a living room with 1 full size futon, huge bay windows, a dining area, and full kitchen. You will also enjoy your personal lighted 375 ft pier. Seating on bottom patio for 20 with New Entertainment Bar. Valynslanding is a perfect summer retreat or a Winter Texans/Snowbirds oasis!

This place is a little place of paradise. It is so peaceful and the place was very comfortable with all your needs. I love the hospitality this place provides. Coffee, creamer, sugar, snacks, and more ✅. The vrbo is clean and well maintain. This is our first time staying here and we will definitely be back! The private lighted pier was perfect and we fished the whole weekend and caught keepers! It was a blast! As a family we haven’t gone on vacation for 5 years so this place was perfect for us to decompress from the big city and relax. We highly recommend this place and already sent our friends to come stay here! We can not wait to return! Thank you to Judy & Val! Super nice folks, fast response, and very accommodating! 5 stars X1000000000! That’s how much we love this place!

This is a perfect fishing house or just for a getaway. It has everything you need and more. The bar area is great for hanging out. We will definitely be back at this house!

This was a great place to stay. It had everything we needed plus some! The owners are very friendly and attentive when we had questions. Definitely will be our go to place in the future! Highly recommend!

We rent this house every year in the fall. It's the nicest place on E. Bayshore. The owners do something to it every year so I look around to see what's different. This time the answer is A LOT !!! New paint on the outside and the inside. New floors but the biggest thing was they poured more concrete to widen the area and built a new staircase on it. Beautiful view of the bay in this house, the front is mostly big windows. We caught 36 blue crabs and we ate them all between four people. Bought shrimp off the boats in the harbor and caught some redfish. We fished on the dock and in kayaks.
We will be back next year.

Stayed here for an out of town wedding and husband wanted to fish…win-win! House was clean and comfortable. Does not have Direct TV as stated in description of house, but they have smart tv and we signed into the apps to watch our shows. Beds were comfortable. Owners super nice! Beautiful views of the bay! My brother even caught some crabs in the crab traps.
Nice evening breezes on the deck. We brought food for breakfast and lunch and ate dinner at the local Mexican restaurant. FYI, a lot of the restaurants were closed on Sunday.

We had a great visit to Palacios and Valyn’s Landing was a perfect place to stay. It had enough room to sleep our family of 7 and the breeze on the back porch was amazing. The kids spent the whole time fishing, crabbing, and playing in the water. Thank you! Can’t wait to come back!

This is a beautiful home with lots shaded outdoor space. The pier is lighted, the 2nd floor deck looks brand new. Everything is comfortable and very clean. Great place to fish and I really just enjoyed being outside by the water.

We absolutely love this place. This was our second time staying here and definitely won't be the last. If you enjoy fishing, crabbing and gazing at the moonlight shining off the bay at night with your favorite beverage, then this is the place for you. We had so much fun fishing off the private pier and crabbing with the crab traps that were available for use during our stay. The only bad thing about our stay is we had to pack up and leave.

Valyn's Landing is a very nice property located right on the bay. Extremely well maintained and comfortable. We enjoyed the views and having a private pier was great. While the wind discouraged us from fishing, we saw people next door catching fish. We are already planning our next visit later in the year.

Our stay was great. The house was better than the pictures. It was well equipped, homey, and the views were spectacular. The town is quite small, but it has everything you need for a week long stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We were looking for a family getaway just like this! The house had everything we needed, the view was gorgeous. We even survived quite a serious cold front with terrible thunderstorms and still had a great time despite the uncooperative weather. We caught two black drum off the pier and I’m sure had we stuck out the cold we probably could have caught more. The house had everything we needed and we plan to return. Owners are wonderful and called to check in on us. A++

We’re a group of friends that have been hunting together since childhood. This house was the perfect spot for us. Our hunt was not until Sunday, and we got to town Friday. With the lighted pier, cover patio area, and proximity to town, we had one of the most enjoyable experiences. The home is clean and updated. We will definitely stay here again.
