About this house rental

Situated in Camano Island, this charming house for $255 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Enjoy the solitude provided by this home - perfect for a couples getaway, family weekend, work retreat or some quiet time all by yourself. You will be a short drive from local attractions, but far enough away to enjoy a quiet walk, a dip in the lake or a nap in the hammock while listening to the birds and owls. The home has two bedrooms, with additional sleeping available on a comfortable queen size murphy bed, futon or couch. We have a fully functioning kitchen, with all the appliances, equipment, cookware and basic condiments that you would find at home. We'll provide coffee and tea as well. You will be across the street from beautiful Goss Lake. You can view the lake from our home, but it is about a 5 minute walk to lake access. There is a community park with small boat launch, suitable for small row boat (no gas motors allowed), kayaks, paddle boarding, swimming or just floating and relaxing. Want to go for a walk? The street in front of our house circles the lake and is about 1 mile around. We are located about 10 minutes from the adorable, waterfront town of Langley, known for its vibrant arts community, whale sightings and fun shops and restaurants. We are also about 10 minutes from Freeland, which offers antique shops, food and access to Holmes Harbour. In any direction on South Whidbey you will find beautiful walks, beaches and plenty of local food, entertainment and wine tastings.

This house is located in a great spot for exploring South Whidbey island, close to Freeland and Langley. It’s spacious and comfortable with a big kitchen and lovely deck looking out on the lake, and really great internet if you need to do any online work or streaming.

The house is in a quite area where one can reconnect with the quiet of nature. Hiking trails within walking distance. Beautiful, calm lake with people enjoying a swim or paddle board. Great farmer's market nearby. Really enjoyed our stay.

The Goss Lake cabin was a welcome respite this summer. The home was clean and well stocked. Walking distance to the public lake area (we caught two trout!) and close to all South Whidbey has to offer. Lots of sleep options, we were all very comfortable. My favorite time was morning with my coffee on the back deck looking out over the lake. Tricia was a great host and easy to communicate with. Will def consider this cabin for future Whidbey visits.

We had a fabulous stay here and will definitely be back. House was so cute and clean and well supplied! That upstairs couch is so comfy my family wanted to steal it. ;) Backyard was so peaceful and beautiful to visit with friends and loved the bunnies hopping by!

My family had so much fun here on a snowy Presidents’ Day weekend. Walking to Goss Lake was beautiful, and the kids loved sliding down the backyard play structure into the snow. There were lots of fun toys and games to play with, too. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Words can not say enough of our time in S. Whidbey. Besides the tranquility of staying in the woods, the place was amazing. We had direct contact with the owner and she always answered promptly to my questions. Thank you for wonderful and relaxing time with the deer, the woods and family.

We had a comfortable weekend stay. Beds are memory foam which is different if you are not used to it but not uncomfortable. House was clean and heating worked. It was easy to find the house even at night and did not have a steep driveway like other properties in the area supposedly. It was good place for a last minute trip to Whidbey Island.

This place was perfect for what we wanted. Quiet, comfortable, enough room for 3, simply and beautifully furnished, and everything we needed. And because it's a close get-away from Seattle, would love to come back in the summer and take advantage of the lake.

this very clean and well maintained house served our needs. We choose it because it had two bathroom with two bedrooms. We were surprised to see that the two bedrooms were next to each other, but one of the full baths (with walk-in shower) was on the second floor. There were also two steps to walk down to for the dining area and the kitchen. It is a lovely wooded spot, very nice deck/back yard. It has shiny new hardwood floors on first floor (except for one of the bedrooms) and carpeting in the upper floor/living room. The kingsized bed was very hard, despite the foam mattress. There is a large dining area; big childrens play area, comfortable chair and sofa on the first floor, but no reading lights.
