With the outbreak of COVID-19, we have been taking greater care in cleaning the house between guests. The house was built in the 1950's and has been updated. We have GFCI circuit breakers and 3-prong outlets throughout the house. We've also added a Level 2 EV Chargepoint charger in the garage. You will have the entire house to yourselves. For parking, you are welcome to use the garage - the code to open the garage door is inside the house in the house manual. Two cars can fit in the driveway and there is also additional street parking available. There is a storage shed in the backyard that you will not have access to. Feel free to contact us as often as necessary. We live nearby and are available if you need us for anything. We're happy to say "hi" and make local recommendations. The house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in Maryland Heights. Within walking distance to a small local park. Close to the new Maryland Heights Community center and Aquaport. Grocery store, small shopping center and plenty of restaurants are less than 2 miles away. While all the basics in the kitchen are provided (i.e. coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishes, silverware, pots, pans) there are limited staples provided for your convenience. We have coffee, tea, basic spices, ketchup, mustard, mayo, margarine. You are welcome to bring whatever food you need to make your stay like home. Before checking out, we have the following requirements. 1) Leave the beds unmade that were slept in. 2) Load and start running the dishwasher, if there are dirty dishes. 3) Move any furniture back to its original position, if you moved anything. 4) Gather any trash you have and place in the trash can. 5) Lock the door on your way out.

Our family of 8 (2 adults/2 teen/3 children/1 infant) stayed for 5 days. We had a rough time with checking in. This was due to a new cleaning person taking longer than expected (~2 hr. delay), amd overall the property was clean, however the cleaning person forgot to dust the fans in the bedrooms, and soap/shampoo dispenser was missing in the upstairs bathroom. Although the online description states basic spices and condiments would be in the kitchen, there was nothing. And while the home slept 8, the dishes in the kitchen need to be increased to accommodate the same. The beds we’re comfortable and the air conditioning worked well, especially in the downstairs. I would suggest upgrading the TVs to smart TV with a couple streaming services (i.e. - Netflix and Disney Plus) If you have a smaller family (2 adult and 2-3 kids), this place would be great, but it’s needs some enhancements (mainly in the kitchen) to accommodate larger families.

Very pleased with the quite cul-de-sac. Very peaceful, friendly neighbors, very Americana setting. The one neighbor even had chickens roaming in the backyard and on Sunday deer were walking through the yard next door as we were leaving. We were only 7-8 minutes from family in St. Charles and west St Louis. The house was like living at home. Homey feeling and very comfortable. Just like home, a few missed crumbs on the floor. 👍 Our clan was very pleased.

Clean. Quiet. Comfortable overall. Beds were nice with lots of pillows. Well stocked. Only thing I missed was a keurig coffee maker. Nice little suburb of st louis. With lots of other little suburbs around. Easy to get to st louis.
