About this villa rental
Fully renovated villa on the well-known club atlantico. First class location, only the garden and a walking path to the sea. Private swimming pool (heatable) with two terraces around it and a roof terrace with lots of privacy and sea views all around. Modern kitchen with all mod cons and many kitchen utensils, comfortable beds in the standard two bedrooms. Third bedroom on request. All bedrooms air-conditioned. Two modern bathrooms. Wifi, IPtv, BBQ.

One of the best properties we have stayed at. Location was excellent, the house was great for 4 adults. We enjoyed the pool and the view! Praia de Carvalho was a quick 5 min walk. 10 min leisure walk. Down a series of steps into a cave staircase and you have your own small beach with rocks view. The hike to the lighthouse to the west is easy, you will be rewarded with great views. We visited the other beaches in Lagos but nothing beats relaxing by the pool with family and dining Al fresco. Host instructions for housekeeping and supermarkets are accurate and suggested restaurants appreciated. O Algar is our favorite with their fresh fish. Bella Vita was a nice change with great Italian food and pizza. I would add to check out Dumar at the Benagil area. Note that we did have water interruptions for about 2 hrs for two days due to road construction. This did not bother us at all. Also keep in mind that due to old structures of drainage, there is a faint drain smell in the kitchen. I would pour vinegar down the drain and that seems to help. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven. We loved our stay and will be back.

I had a good time in Villa Miramar. The villa is consistent with the pictures on the web site, it’s well equipped and placed in a key place to walk alongside the coast. We have appeciated to stay on the rooftop at the sunset. The internal parts are well cleaned while some external parts can be dirty because of birds, but the issue is not manageable.Herman and Maria Jose are fantastic hosts and provide a complete package of instructions and suggestions.

This villa is located on a cliff top with magnificent views. The pool area is superb and well furnished. The roof terrace again providing great views was unusable because of the lack of cushions for the seating area. The ones which were provided are dirty and stained. At one time the villa would have earned the description of 'Luxurious'. Sadly this is now not the case. Everything is a little tired and used. Linen is old and past its used by date, with towels which are stained and threadbare. There are damp issues; water ingress from the roof terrace into the sitting room ceiling, black mould and damp to the front twin bedroom, small bathroom and kitchen skylight. The owner was made aware of the condition and a request made for a dehumidifier, which was provided. This helped but has not cured the problem. In our opinion the villa is in need of a refurbishment if it is to retain its luxurious description. The views alone are simply not enough. Ours was an extended stay of 37 nights, which makes attention to detail important in providing the 'Luxurious, cosy' environment advertised.
