The flat is walking distance to Bled. And the walk is perfectly fine. It is located next to a beautiful field with Mountain View to dog walk. There is a supermarket nearby and parking is easy and as advertised. The house itself is lovely with numerous flats. The steps to the lower ground floor flat are quite a lot more than I expected - so be aware of this if you need to carry heavy bags or kids etc. or if you have an injury. The flat was cool even without air-conditioning and clean. The location of the ground floor flat meant it wasn’t particularly light, as it only had one small window, but for me it felt quite comforting and calming- as it felt slightly cave like - after a busy day in the sun. The owner was responsive and nice guy.
Review for LOWER GROUND FLAT SPECIFICALLY: I think the mattress really needs updating. It was mentioned in a few reviews and I do think it’s time. I did sleep well for 2 nights (out of 3) but I also came to take part in a marathon swim event around the lake so I was dead :) in the end I am really happy with the place. For the price and location and feeling of comfort. If you were planning to spend more time in the flat itself and wanted a view and some more light I would choose the flats above ground, but stay at the boatman’s for sure :)

The location was great for walking into Bled. Lovely modern and clean interior with all the facilities for our family stay. Loved it!
The road outside does get busy during the day, but it was ok during the night and didn’t spoil the location too much.

- It has a nice kind of garden and a place outside with some trees it was a beautiful place
- Also the location was in good walking distance to the lake so we could go and come
- it has a quite comfortable bed and the size of the place was quite nice for 2 persons
- they let us check in a bit early
- it was exactly in the front of a super noisy road that now in summer made us almost not be able to rest. The evenings were the worst, and it was warm and we had to keep all the windows closed, otherwise no one could sleep and the worst part is that they don’t tell you this anywhere on their details on booking
- the house was a bit dirty with a lot of spider webs everywhere, we wanted to use the barbecue but it was so dirty that we gave up, also some animals fur in the bed and some of the places inside. It looked like a place that people wouldn’t go for a long time
- when we arrived there there was a enormous amount of trash in the trash bin from other people and it stayed there almost our whole stay, we could smell it from our room and this also made some big flys appears there
- they didn’t had some things that they said they had like toiletries like soap or shampoo
- the airco was not working super well
