Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath Lake House is located on Curtis Lane (named after our Grandfather), a small road in a secluded area of Moultonborough Neck (the heart of Lake Winnipesaukee). The Options Are Unlimited! Very nice house in a gorgeous setting, every bit as nice as advertised. The house is also very handicap friendly, with single floor layout, ramps and handholds. My 92-year-old mother-in-law had absolutely no problems getting around with her walker.

The location was magical. It is quiet and private. Our dogs loved it! The lake area was clean. Kids loved floating dock. We had a fantastic week. The house is really nice, with a great view.

We can't say enough good things about this property. The view was so serene and peaceful. We saw and heard loons every day, including a bald eagle. The amenities were perfect for our family; including flexibility with our dogs.The owners were very responsive and provided excellent customer service. Location was great. Traveled into Wolfeboro, Castle In The Clouds, Bald Peak Hike, Hermit Woods Winery Meredith, Twin Barns Brewery Meredith to name a few. Excellent restaurants locally also. We had such a wonderful family reunion and would love to come back again.

Beautiful setting, clean, comfortable and nestled in the woods of New Hampshire. Quiet, privacy with everything we could possibly need. Foliage, a happy coincidence….perfect spot for a much needed, peaceful respite.

The lake was beautiful and quiet. We ate every meal on the deck admiring the lakes and the changing leaves. The house was cozy, and we had everything we needed to cook our meals. Google maps did take us down a dirt road but the correct alternate route was also an option and the house is very simple to get to once we adjusted. I have no complaints about our stay here at all and would happily spend many more weekends here.

We certainly enjoyed our 2nd visit to the Curtis Lake house!! Everything was neat, clean and orderly. Kitchen well stocked! Appreciated the new queen bed in master bedroom. Mattresses in other bedrooms were new last year - 2 queens in one bedroom and 2 twins in other bedroom. We enjoyed Lake Winnie from the huge deck and from the dock. House is handicap accessible so great for anyone with mobility issues. Plan to return next year!

Our second time and it was another great one! Place was well-maintained. Sitting on the porch that looks out on the lake was so relaxing. Kayaks were available and allowed for fun on the water. Location was perfect for side trips to Weirs Beach for brunch cruise on the MV Mt. Washington and to the Castle in the Clouds. Peter and Linda responded to questions swiftly. Hoping to book again next year!

This is our second year coming to the cabin and it was such a relaxing stay. My mom is in a wheelchair and it’s fully accessible and even has a tiny ramp leading to the porch overlooking the lake. This allowed us to all have a relaxing vacation without having to think twice about logistics. Thank you!!

This was our second time staying at this property and it is perfect! The views from the back deck are stunning! Plenty of seating on the deck with a table and a grill. There is a dock for a boat. The house has plenty of space for our family and we look forward to staying again.

This was our second time staying at this property. Owners are very responsive and kind. Kayak by day, watch the night sky at night. Great for viewing the meteor shower. We also saw the Milky Way and Andromeda Galaxy. Love the views. The area is nice and quiet. Looking forward to another stay next year.

Great location with nice views from deck and dock. We rented a 19’ pontoon boat and spent a good bit out in the Bay swimming and fishing. The weather was hot which was perfect for being on the lake. Enjoyed morning coffee on the deck and evenings sitting on the dock.

We had an excellent week relaxing and enjoying this well equipped lake house. Plenty of room for our adult children and grandchildren to sleep and play. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty with everything you will need. Having 2 bathrooms and a washer /dryer is a big plus for a large group! We were fortunate to have excellent weather and were in the water every day. One note is there is no shore for little ones to wade but we worked it out. Plenty of fun activities within a short drive. Loved hearing the loons in the evening!

Seclusion and Serenity!
Lovely spot - as advertised. Most of our "living" was outside or on the main level of the house, so that single floor was welcome. There is a basement with ping pong, pfd's, laundry, etc. Our hosts were generous to allow our dogs - and the main floor entry made it easy to take them out for walks. The waterfront/dock area is compact. Either jump in or climb down ladder to access lake; since the area is at the bottom of a hill, there's no walk in option. However, that same hill makes for a stunning view from the back deck, where there's a nice table w/umbrella, plenty of seating, and a gas grill. Owners were very responsive to my clarifying questions and to my request for replacement propane. So nice! Overall, we were very happy there and wish we could have stayed longer.

Coffee on deck!
Thoroughly enjoyed the quiet peacefulness of the first hours of each morning down by the water, listening to the loons as the mist rose off the lake. What a delightfully wonderful way to greet each day! Spent many hours fishing, kayaking, swimming, reading down by the water--it was the perfect place to be :) The home was just the right size with 3 decent sized bedrooms (2 queens, 2 twins, 1 double) and plenty of open living space. Front deck overlooking the lake ran the length of the home which gave plenty of room to stretch out. Beautiful far reaching views from the upper deck! Going anywhere was a road trip, so plan accordingly :) We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the lake region as this was our first stay anywhere on Lake Winnipesaukee. Hosts were very responsive. Would highly recommend!

The property was as described and met all of our needs. The owners were very responsive to the one minor problem we had with the wifi. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to renting again next year.

Overall a lovely time
We had a little difficulty getting in as some aspects of the property had apparently been updated since the last listing, but once resolved it was an amazing place and we didn't want to leave! Great amenities, private area, and spectacular views - we loved it! As long as you bring some insect repellent you will never want to go inside. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!!!

Amazing view and direct access to the lake. Home interior is a bit dated, but it’s a lake home and very acceptable. Would have preferred to not have to bring our own linens and towels, but again, not a deal breaker. Loved the peace and quiet.

Lakeside retreat
The Curtis camp is a wonderful place to get away and unplug. My family and I were very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the lake and spending time outside. My mom is recovering from hip surgery and was able to navigate the house easily. The house was very pet friendly. Many thanks to Linda and Peter for sharing their place with us!

Lake, mountains, loons & eagles
We certainly enjoyed our time at the Curtis Lake House! Kitchen equipped with everything we needed and much more. Very nice new furniture in living room - we each had our own recliner! (2 recliner couch & 2 single recliners). Beds very comfortable - 2 queens were new.
We enjoyed eating our breakfast and lunch on the deck overlooking the lake. Dined out for dinner. Super fire pit for making s’mores! Nice large dock to fish or swim from or just relax and view the lake, mountains, “steamboats” and other water craft. We saw loons and bald eagles every day. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Beautiful & accessible stay on the lake!
My family and I were so pleased with our stay last week up in Moultonborough. My mother is in a wheelchair and the ramp leading up to the house, as well as the mini ramp leading from the back porch into the living room made for a seamless and comfortable transition from the car to the house. The main bedroom also was well-equipped for her stay with hand rails beside the bed and master bath toilet. She couldn’t have been more comfortable and pleased with the accessibility.
The house was very clean and instructions from the owner were clear. The lake view was beautiful, and morning sunrises from the back porch/windows were breathtaking. The house was dog-friendly and we enjoyed walks through the dirt road loop around the neighborhood as well as hiking in the area. We also used the kayaks as well as fished and swam off of the docks.
Such an incredible stay on the lake! Thank you for your hospitality and we hope to come back again next year!

Amazing. The outdoor view on deck and dock is amazing. The indoors looked freshly painted with new furniture and new kitchen countertop. I did not want to leave. We swam almost everyday from the dock and enjoyed using the kayaks.
