Outside on the spacious lanai, a gas grill and seating area create an opportunity to revel in the indoor-outdoor island lifestyle. It’s one of those things where if you don’t want to give a good review because you want the secret to be kept but you have to give a great review because it was just so incredible. Such an amazing place. Hanalei in general and the home in particular. The property manager was super attentive and all the amenities were perfect. We had the time of our lives and we will definitely be back hopefully once a year indefinitely. Mahalo!

Hale Kanani is the absolutely perfect house for a vacation to the north shore of Kauai. Everything in the house is new and updated, and it has all been thoughtfully curated with all your vacation home needs. We especially enjoyed the lanai, which was never too hot for lounging. The proximity to Hanalei Bay was so convenient, and also all of the other north shore beaches. We can't wait to return soon!

The home was cozy and spacious. The kitchen well-stocked. All linens and towels were premium quality. We walked to the beach and to town regularly, it’s a very short walk to Hanalei Bay.

Wrong location is given on the map, other end of town just past the church, still a great location. Super clean, remodeled, AC in the bed rooms is really appreciated, there are barking dogs behind and next door to the house, woke me up at night a couple of times. The window unit drowned out the noise.The only thing I would tell the owner, is to replace is the mattress in the master bed room, has dips in both sides, not good for my back...I would stay here again , the place has awesome viiews, beach chairs, umbrellas etc...My only regret is not staying for another week.Would stay here again for sure, just get a new mattress...

This property was just as photographed. It was airy and lots of room for a 2 bedroom. The location was close to town and the beach. The property was very well equipped and lots of little extras. We were very happy with everything. We would absolutely stay again

Loved my stay at this house - I worked remotely for three weeks while enjoying Hanalei and the North side.. It’s as it appears in pictures, kitchen is well-appointed, grill is easy to use, has beach chairs and umbrellas and everything you need for a great day at the beach. One note - the map on the posting is a off - the house is right by Hanalei school if you want a sense of exactly where it is in Hanalei.

Had a chance to go in the water by the pier but too rough on our side of the bay for this time of year.

This property was a perfect location. Good floor plan with a bedroom at the front and the back. This was good for our teenage daughter to have her own space and bathroom. Able to walk to beach and shops. Our contact, Debbie, was easy to contact if needed and was very helpful. only slight negative is the neighbours at rear are very close so could hear them talking till late, no music or parties though while we were there, so all in all good spot.

The only downfall is that It is in a bit of a busy neighborhood with lots of traffic and noise at times. We enjoyed our stay and have many wonderful memories.

This was our 4th time staying in Hanalei, and this house was by far the best of the bunch. Everything from kitchen essentials to beach equipment was first-rate, and the property management folks were very attentive and professional . The house is a 5 minute walk into the main part of town, located on a quiet street right across from prime beach access. Couldn't be more bullish in recommending this property.

Absolutely Perfect
The property had everything we needed and we loved the porch overlooking the lanai. There were 4 of us staying in the house and I heard everyone say "it's perfect!" more than once. It had AC in the bedrooms, which was great for sleeping since it was still hot in September. And having a washer/dryer was a real bonus since we came home dirty from hikes and the beach almost every day. Most nights, we walked to restaurants and had great meals, although there aren't sidewalks, so headlamps/flashlights came in handy. Debbie at the property management company was great too. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location, cute, clean house
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this sweet beach cottage. It was very clean. We loved the decor. The location was great. Close to Hanalei town and the beach. I really enjoyed having my coffee on the lanai in the morning with the view of the mountains. There are lots of great places to eat such as The Dolphin or Baracuda. We really enjoyed Hanalei Bread Co for coffee and breakfast. But it was great to have the option to cook at home and the kitchen had everything we needed. The house was actually very spacious. I think it was better in person. We come every year and next time we will have another couple with us and there is plenty of room in this house. We will be back! And would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Our favorite place to stay in Hanalei
We come to Hanalei every year and this is one of our favorite houses. It is more spacious than it looks in pictures. It is so comfy and clean. We always feel right at home. It is a quick walk to the beach and they have a wagon with all the beach equipment so everything is easy to transport. It's also close to the stores and restaurants of Hanalei. The new management company now provides amenities such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash. They left us a very nice welcome basket. We cannot recommend this place enough!

Great beach house in beautiful Hanalei
This house was perfect for our family surf trip. It was a 5 minute walk to our favorite spot on the bay. It was open and airy and came with everything we needed including a well stocked kitchen, beach towels, beach toys and even toiletries. It was very clean. We enjoyed BBQing almost every night. We plan to come back year after year. Many thanks to the owner for sharing this lovely home with us!

Just perfect!!!!
This sweet and fresh 2bed fit our needs just perfectly! It's walking distance to shops and eateries. There is a Saturday farmers market that is such a treat! the kitchen had everything we needed to whip up our meals and enjoy them just a few minute walk to the beach where we enjoyed our morning coffee walks and incredible sunsets. It did rain a few days we were there but as the locals say it "turned the waterfall machines on".. this home also has beautiful mountain and waterfall views! we truly treasured our stay in this home and cannot wait to visit again!!

Sweet house, close to beach and Hanalei town
We had an amazing vacation in Hanalei at Hale Kalani. The house was even cuter in person. It was quite roomy for a 2 bedroom. It has a good size lanai with beautiful mountain views. It had everything we needed in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and had nice bedding. There are plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, toys ect... There was a nice BBQ on the lanai that we used often. Hanalei town and all the restaurants are a 2 minute drive. We rented bikes and rarely used the car except to go to the other side of the island. We loved our time in Hanalei and will definitely be back to Hale Kanani.

This Hanalei cottage was perfection!
We loved our stay at Hale Kanani! The house is so cute. It was clean, well stocked and had everything we needed. It was a 5 minute walk to Hanalei Bay. The lanai has a beautiful view of Hanalei valley and the waterfalls. We used the BBQ and had dinner on the lanai every nite. It was so relaxing. We did not want to leave!

Our favorite Hanalei house
We've been coming to Hanalei for many years and Hale Kanani is our favorite place to stay.I just wanted to hang out on the lanai all day and stare at the mountains and waterfalls. When I could drag myself away from that view, the beach was short walk away. And the house comes with a wagon loaded with beach equipment. We went out to eat a lot but the kitchen had everything I needed when I did cook. The house was very clean when we checked in and had a nice breeze. It was a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. We were so sad to leave and will definitely be back to Hale Kanani!
