Helpful and friendly staff, spacious room. Breakfast was made to order, and coffee was good (espresso).
It was a convenient place to stay the night before heading to Theth.
Of all the rooms that were available (only two-three seemed to be occupied in the hotel that night) they gave us the one with a leaking boiler. After asking for help on why there was no hot water, it turned out the valve was shut, and when opened, there was a lot of water dripping down. We shut it again for the night, but that didn't function too well, and the dripping of water woke me up.
Not sure if the bed clothes had been changed before us, as the blanket and the pillow smelled.
Also, I suspect there might be an issue with mold, as there is no ventilation in the bathroom apart from opening the window, and I woke up with very swollen eyes (the only time so in the two weeks we were in the country). This even while we had a window open during the night.
It would have been great to have bedside lamps, as the room only had one ceiling lamp.
