About this cabin rental
Situated in Priest Lake, this charming cabin for $199 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Cute & Cozy with floor to ceiling views of the lake. Shallow bay and sandy beaches are kid friendly. Private dock with room for boats. Cabin has 1 bed (with queen) & 1 bath (tub/shower), with large loft and 6 single mattresses - stack into 3 single beds or even a king + 1 single. Vintage sofa bed in main room. Kitchen fully equipped. New fridge. Clean Bedding & bath towels included. Starlink Internet included. Generally good download speeds. Great for streaming high quality on a rainy day, or working from home for an emergency video conference, but you really should be out having fun on the water! Main room has grand views of the lake, with a large, beautiful custom stone fireplace to keep you warm on chilly nights, or electric heat if you prefer. Floor to ceiling windows over the entire front of the cabin, giving you all the lake view to make your vacation perfect. Deck on the front, with BBQ and just a short few steps to the beach. Large cedar resurfaced dock, with boat ties and a swim ladder. Roughly a 3 foot depth on sides and 3.5-4' depth at the end. Camp fire pit at the beach with a rustic bench to enjoy it. Nicely sheltered & shallow water for kids to play. Plenty of beach/dock chairs included. Bring your own toys & boats! Loft access is with drop down ladder stairs, so small children should have parental supervision. Bring your own food and bottled water. Tap is unfiltered from the lake. Laundry (if needed) is available in Coolin, about 12 miles away. **If you book a reservation, you acknowledge that swimming is at your own risk and there is no lifeguard on duty (this makes my insurance provider happy)** Thank you and enjoy!

Ron is an amazing host! This cozy cabin has a breathtaking view of Priest Lake through a full wall of windows open to the Lake. Don't let the small footprint of this cabin fool you--it is very well equipped with everything that is needed and more.
There were 5 of us, and this cabin met our needs wonderfully. The kids navigated the stair-ladder to the loft with ease. The loft slept the three of them very comfortably, and probably could have slept another youngster if needed (the mattresses can be stacked or not for flexibility).
The location of this cabin is another plus. Bear Creek Bay is a nice, protected bay with fun Bear Creek to explore by kayak or paddleboard. The snorkeling and fishing in the bay are good (our kids caught and ate fish almost daily). It is close to Elkins and Indian Creek Campground (this is where we launched the boat, and of course got ice cream at the park store). If you have a boat, this is also close to 8-Mile Island where you can see the Vinther-Nelson cabin, a piece of Priest Lake history. We even discovered there is a layer of clay at the bottom of the lake here that the kids harvested and, after "'kneading" it a bit they had workable clay to make creations. We loved starting our mornings with a cup of coffee or tea on the private dock and gazing at the stars in the evening. This is a gem of a cabin and location!

Glorious Priest Lake retreat
The owner, Ron is a lovely human and gracious host. The cabin is well-cared for with great windows showing a beautiful view of the magical waters of Priest lake and the patio is just steps away from the beach and dock. I am coming back as often as I can! Thank you, Ron!!

Perfect Vacation!

Great cabin getaway
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin with stunning views of Priest Lake. Ron is a very friendly and attentive host. He was happy to share his fishing knowledge and techniques for the lake. The cabin is bit on the rustic side, but well appointed with everything you need. It is also situated nicely right on the water with it's own dock. The A frame design really opens up the spectacular views of the lake.

Lovely launching spot to explore the lake with kids
We stayed here with our two little ones (1yo and 4yo) and loved having the little beach to splash around on, the dock to hang out on and swim off of, eating all our meals out on the deck, paddle boarding in the bay, and being able to jump in our boat and go for a cruise anytime. It was great to be on a central and quieter part of the lake. The neighboring houses are close by and there was some construction going on next door, but we didn't let it bother us.
The cabin has the essentials and traveling with little kids we always appreciate vacation rentals that are simple (less precious things to worry about kids getting into or breaking!)
There was just enough room for our travel crib in the bedroom and we brought extra dark fabric to hang in addition to the light blinds and an extra fan for white noise. My husband and son slept great in the loft. Needing to do our own cleaning and bring all our own linens and supplies this summer (2020), as well as needing to bring drinking water and pack out our garbage definitely added a layer of complexity to the trip, but was definitely manageable.
Ron and Schi were warm, welcoming and helpful whenever we had a question or need. We hope to come back again someday.

Great stay, great place!
We really enjoyed our week at this cabin. The location is outstanding--facing south with Bear Creek to the East and Granite Bay to the West. Reeder Bay with Elkins Resort is close by for lunch and rentals, as is the Indian Creek store for ice cream. Great trails from the cabin over to the Bear Creek marsh, too. The cabin is classic Priest Lake--very cozy and comfortable. Two of our kids slept up in the loft, and one on the foldout. All were very comfortable. Though the cabin is a 1-bedroom it lives a lot larger and worked well for our family of 5. The kitchen and bath are up to date. When we got there, everything was squeaky clean. We didn't miss a TV at all and played games every night before going out to the dock to watch the stars. Maybe the best part about this cabin is Ron, the owner, who lives next store and is super friendly and generous with his history on the lake and ideas for trails and things to do. We eagerly look forward to returning to this special place!

Priest Lake Slice of Heaven
This is likely one of THE best locations on the whole lake. With wonderful Westerly views, you get the lovely sun exposure all day. Little to no development across the bay, your direct view is untarnished nature and we remarked that this is what the lake would have looked like a couple hundred years ago. Beautiful water, gorgeous new dock, wonderful firepit, and hiking in the woods right out your door are just a few amazing amenities. The house is cozy and unpretentious; a throw back to an original lake front cabin with today's comforts. I loved sitting in the great room with the fire going, curled up on the couch with a blanket and my book, and the beautiful view right in front of me. We're serial renters here...we will continue to come back. Thanks Ron and Schi!!!

Great family location on priest lake
This is a great property on northern priest lake. We were a family of 6 and the house worked great. The beach are was great for both our younger (5) and older kids (18) and the dock easily held our boat protected from the waves when the wind blew. The best part may have been Ron. He was a great host and gave us lots of tips about the area and even some fishing advice. All in all a great place.

Great lakeside retreat
We enjoy this property so much that this is the fourth year we have come to stay! The dock was redone last year and the deck was redone this year- two of the great amenities of this property. The owner is very friendly & helpful.

Another Wonderful Stay on Priest Lake
Enjoyed every part of staying in this nostalgic cabin! The owners are so personable and helpful. We had 6 kayaking women, who welcomed the fall with daily kayaking from right out front of the cabin! The weather was damp, but didn't dampen our spirits! I love this place, and I'm sure you will too.

Great cabin with all the basics on a beautiful bay.
Great part of the lake for kayaking. Wonderful views from the cabin. Perfect kitchen for preparing and eating meals for 6 people. Great deck and BBQ (even though we had to share some food with friendly yellow jackets(luckily they were only interested in our food not us). Ron and Schi are the best owner/hosts you could ask for. Ron outfitted my brothers with his windsurfing gear so they could explore the lake’s winds and waves. Beautiful fireplace with dry wood for crackling fires when it’s chilly in the evening. Everything is clean and well maintained- even a brand new dock! There’s interesting mountain biking areas to explore and a lot of hiking opportunities nearby. We’re coming back next year again!!

Dreamy lake location!
This was our second time back to Priest lake and it did not disappoint. This time staying at Ron's place was ideal. It's not too far up the lake yet quiet and lovely. He had just finished the new dock which was fantastic. Ron is a great host and his home is ideal for a family. Our 3 kids loved the loft and we had everything we needed for a great stay. Ron's extended family was great as well. The beds were comfortable and the area clean. Priest lake is an amazing place and our stay there was great, we will be back!

Super Beautiful!!!
The place was absolutely amazing! Beautiful views, right on the water and nice swim area protected by the docks. Our family stayed there for 4 nights and we didn’t want to leave. The place was well stocked with staple items and that is especially a big deal because the location (which is what we were looking for) is a ways from a major grocery store. Ron and Schi were so welcoming and are great people. We are hoping to make it back out there next summer!!

A great family getaway...
If you are looking for a small cabin you can call all your own right on the shores of Priest Lake this is your cabin! Our family has enjoyed many a summer at Elkins and this year we were looking for something different. This spot is quiet and serene. Close to the northern section of the lake where we usually get to enjoy the wildlife more often. Fishing nearby was rewarding and the Bald Eagle sightings were plentiful. This is a prime sunset cabin. Our family of four fit perfectly and all you need is your suitcase. Ron was an excellent host making himself available but not encroaching on our experience. Our family would definitely consider this cabin on our next Priest Lake vacation.

Charming cabin right on the water - gorgeous view.
My husband and I stayed here a few days before memorial day weekend. It was incredibly peaceful. The cabin is ideally situated. This trip was just the two of us, but our 2 kids would have loved the loft.
