About this cabin rental
Located in Norris Lake, this charming cabin for $895 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Pirates Cove is our second cabin which is next door to Treasure Cove our Third cabin.. Treasure Cove can be seen on VRBO, Search # 1010047. Pirates and Treasure Cove both have their own private bathrooms of each bedroom plus a powder room upstairs and downstairs. Pirates and Treasure Cove each have an extra outside patio for a hot tub. There are 9 spacious bedrooms with attached bathrooms. Walk out the patio door to the waterfront, enjoy the double decker dock with slide and a view of the cove of Norris Lake. The cove is quiet, there are no waves from lake traffic, great swimming for all ages. The top floor has a large open kitchen equipped with 2 refrigerators with water and ice in door, 2 dishwashers, gas range, large double door pantry, large bar that seats 8, granite counter tops, dining room and living room. Kitchen is well equipped with dinnerware, pots N pans, and too many small appliances to mention. The living room has an awesome view of the cove with a half bath for everyone to use. There are 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms on top floor. One bedroom has a king bed and one has a queen bed with attached bathrooms. The middle floor has a centralized washer/dryer and living area. The four bedrooms on this floor have attached bathrooms. All four bedrooms have one queen bed and day bed with trundle (each with their own bathroom). Patio on this floor has a relaxing view of the cove and mountains all around. The bottom level has 3 bedrooms, with attached bathrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed with a child bed, one bedroom with 2 bunk beds, full on bottom and twin on top, and one bedroom with 2 queen beds. There is a half bath on this level for everyone to use. This floor has easy access to the lake. There are 2 arcade games with a gathering area to entertain for all ages. The bar has a sink, dishwasher, refrigerator and bar stools. Pirates Cove has plenty of parking located in Lakeside Estates. Easy access, 20 minutes off I-75. Please note from October to April we have seasonal water and the dock will be removed. Don't worry The fun never stops at Pirates!

Have been coming to Norris Lake for over 30 years, have rented numerous vacation homes, this in our opinion was the best, so very well stocked and a very comfortable home for a large group. Will rent this home again.

Great place with lots of room and rooms! Very clean and equipped very well for a large family or families. The views are beautiful. There are a lot of steps to the dock and water but they are very manageable. We enjoyed the water sports equipment. The multiple decks were nice and the house had a lot of places to hang out. We would highly recommend Pirate’s Cove!

Summer vacation
This property was very nice and has all the things you need/want. It’s tucked away in a great cove for plenty of swimming, jumping from the dock, or sliding into the water. We are 4 families (total of 16 ranging from 6-46) and there was plenty of room for all! Plus I don’t think I heard “I am bored” one time from the littles, or the teens. If you are bringing a boat the launching point is super close and there is plenty of room to have a second boat. You will not be disappointed at all. The only thing that we found that was a little issues was the dock got super slick, even if you were not running.

Wonderful Stay
Everything here was amazing and we'll definitely rent again next year. The house was perfect for our large family of 21. We had a blast jumping and sliding off the dock, caught bass, catfish, carp, and crappie, and did a ton of activities on the lake!

Great stay with Navy buddies. Loved the water scene. Kitchen had plenty of appliances. There are a lot of stairs with the home and to get down to dock. Overall a great stay and would stay again

Great Week!
We stayed at the property for a week this Summer and it was terrific! It was as described on VRBO. The owners and manager were responsive and courteous. There was a minor issue, to which they helped rectify immediately beyond our expectation. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Great Lake access, location and big enough to spread out from you and your family/friends. Thanks for a great week!

This was a beautiful house with a wonderful view of Norris Lake. We really enjoyed the boat dock, and we rented the boat and water toys for even more fun! We had our granddaughter’s Beautiful Wedding at a Beautiful Church with Pastor Mike Smith (he was great) 12 minutes from Pirate Cove Rental we Decorate inside had a beautiful reception there just a good time with Decks & the slide on the deck and we had great neighbors on each side! The home was very clean and equipped with about anything you would want or need thumbs up to this place we had a ball!

Perfect Set Up
The house was in awesome condition. It looks to be brand new. The communication was so fast. We wanted to purchase a specialty PPV late in the evening and the staff was available to assist. It is perfect for a large group with so many individual beds. Each bedroom has a private full bath which makes It so convenient for the entire group. Decks with views of the lake on every level, 3 different common areas for congregating, ample kitchen amenities. So so much more. The cove the house sits in has other houses which make for a fun time but is graciously spaced away from the other houses for privacy as well. Private dock with many water toys available and big shout out to that aqualilypaddotcom float, its so fun! Our entire group had such a great time! Thank you so much for providing such a great space!

Very nice location- had a wonderful time!
We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen with two refrigerators and two dishwashers was great. The dock and swimming area were fantastic and we enjoyed the pontoon rental! I would recommend to clean all the spider webs on the porches, dock, by the Hot tub etc before each renter and also the decor in the bedrooms is very dated but the beds are comfy!

This house is great for a large group. It is spacious and the 9 bathrooms make a big difference with a lot of people. We really enjoyed being in a cove and not on the main lake where there is more waves.

A wonderful home and beautiful setting
We have loved Jane's home on Lake Norris for our youth leaders' retreat for several years now! It's been well maintained and is always clean and ready for our stay. Jane takes excellent care of our group!

Loved it. We brought our children and grandchildren with us (21 total). Everyone has a blast. The house had plenty of run to accommodate our large family, large kitchen too. I definitely recommend this house to any large group.

Wonderful house and lake!
We loved the house, which had plenty of rooms--and beds--for everyone (18 people this year). The kids, mostly teenagers, really enjoyed tubing behind the pontoon boat and playing with the "water toys," kayaks, paddleboards, and a "water lily," a huge strip of light-weight foam that floated on the water even with several big kids playing/wrestling on it. The kids also loved the 2-story slide, jumping off the top level of the dock, and just swimming around in the lake. Being back on a cove meant almost no boats passing by, which was great for the swimmers, etc. The kitchen was well-equipped, with lots of dishes and two dishwashers. I'm thinking about buying a set of the ceramic-lined pots and pans that were at the house!
However, I would strongly suggest adding a railing, at least on one side, to the three steps leading from the parking area into the house. Stairs without railings are dangerous for us old folks.
And I hated trying to get my compact, front-wheel-drive car up the road/driveway to the next road (the only way out). Every time I tried it, my tires skidded and spun on the loose gravel. I had to back up and get a running start. The heavier vans and those with 4-wheel-drive had an easier time of it, but it was a struggle for the smaller cars.
We have had family vacations in different areas of the nation for the past 22 years, but this is the first location where there were no restaurants to go to for lunch--except the marinas, which were at least 20 minutes away by boat and at least that long (and a scary trip) by car on narrow, twisting, hilly roads. Of course, we could have driven into LaFollette (about 20 minutes) and stopped at Wendy's or McDonalds or Pizza Hut, but we had hoped for something better.
Still, Jane Lammers and her housekeeper, Janice, couldn't control the lack of restaurants, but they did everything they could to make our visit as pleasant and fun as possible. It was nice not to have to deal with an impersonal rental agency. Many thanks to them both! Readers, I hope you all enjoy your vacation at Pirate's Cove as much as we did!
