Located in North Lawrence, this attractive cabin for $215 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Take a step into your next favorite vacation home here at Lazy Bear Lodge. This highly sought after modern rustic cabin is located in the Northern Black Hills recreational corridor just minutes from the local ATV/snowmobile trail system, 5 minutes to skiing at Terry Peak only 10 minutes from Deadwood, 15 minutes to Spearfish Canyon Lodge, and about an hours drive to Mount Rushmore! Lazy Bear is a 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin which will comfortably sleep 10. It is professionally furnished to make you feel right at home and the cabin has WIFI, cable, games and parking for motorcycle/ATV trailers. The main level has an open living/kitchen/dining area, with an amazing fireplace and a 55” smart TV above the mantle. Enjoy the gorgeous view from the huge deck off of the kitchen, which has a BBQ grill and picnic table. The kitchen is fully equipped with an assortment of appliances and kitchen essentials. The main level also has a full bath, laundry, and bedroom with a queen bed and TV. The lower level has a family room with a flat screen TV, blue-ray/DVD player, and a full size bunkbed. Enjoy the huge deck off of the family room, which has a private jetted hot tub and lounge chairs. The lower level also has a full bath and 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed and flat screen TV. The Gilded Mountain community offers a paved road to the cabin, as well as use of the clubhouse, which includes a heated outdoor pool, 2 hot tubs, sauna, pool table, air hockey, exercise room and WIFI. Beautiful cabin that was immaculately clean and had lots of cozy and family friendly amenities. We enjoyed our time here. We all got great sleep in big, comfortable beds. Bedding was nice, not the cheap over used bedding we often find in cabins that only want to cut corners/costs. Kids loved all the soft cozy blankets. Moms favorite was the giding deck chairs- perfect to relax with coffee and a book. Dads favorite was the gas stove for cooking - all high end appliances.

We went to the black hills as a family to see the different sights. Devils tower, Custer state park, Mt. Rushmore and the like. Lazy bear lodge was in a great location for doing all the sight seeing. The place was cozy and had all the right amenities. The kids loved spending time at the community pool. We would eeccomend lazy bear lodge and blsck hills adventure lodging to anyone!

Highly recommend Lazy Bear Lodge! It was very comfortable, very clean, and well taken care of. They were very helpful with info and answering our questions before the trip and Lazy Bear was stocked with everything we needed to cook, info for things to do around the area, and fun games for the kids. We loved how close it was to the UTV rental and in a beautiful area. We loved seeing deer roam around off the back deck and the overall calming and relaxing atmosphere. We hope to be back someday!

Overall we were happy with our stay. Only a few minor complaints. The beds need updating. Upstairs bed sunk in the middle and so me and my husband slept separate our whole stay. The washer smelled but worked to do what we needed still. Hottub rug needs to be replaced with a rug meant for water. It was always soaked and nasty to stand on. The clubhouse was under construction and dusty while we were there so you couldn't have the full experience however there was a pool table and a pool and hot tubs still that could be accessed. The kids loved the clubhouse regardless of construction. Everything else looked amazing. The cabin was beautiful with beautiful views. We loved sitting out on the deck in the mornings in the rocking chairs. The kids enjoyed the downstairs area were they had their own space to hang out. Kitchen was nice and big. If all the small complaints were updated this stay would have been 5 of 5 stars. Thank you for our stay!

Beautiful cabin, great location and perfect for a large family. The Lodge had a nice outdoor heated pool that kept my kids entertained. The boys had fun exploring outside and the downstairs had games and bunk beds for the littles to have their own area. We will definitely stay again.

We had a great time at the Lazy Bear Lodge! Our hot tub wasn’t working properly and they came over and fixed it so it was able to work for the remainder of our stay! The heated pool is heated to about 97 degrees he told us, and it was about -10 when we went up there. It was so nice. The only thing I would change is to add more activities to the main cabin. We will be going back to stay again!

The Cabin was very nice. It is clean and the hot tub was great. The kitchen equipment is very used and subpar. The beds were next to impossible to sleep in. In a queen bed you would sink down into the middle of the bed and it was very hard for two people to sleep in one. We had to try all three beds to find the least worst one. For the price paid I do expect good sleeping conditions. I encourage the management company to try to spend the night here, so they understand the issue. I will not be staying here again.

This cabin was the prefect place to stay while participating in the Black Hills Jeep Jamboree. Close enough to deadwood and far enough away from the action to relax. The cabin was clean, decorated well and had all of the needed amenities. Great stay! We'd go back.
