Located in Vicksburg, this charming condo for $179 per night is a great option for your next break. Stunning renovated 1875 contemporary loft in the heart of downtown historic Vicksburg! Now with an elevator for easy access! The loft is a well appointed 'wow factor' space that comfortably sleeps 4, sweeping river views from the rooftop terrace. Walk to unique dining, shopping and historic sights. Located above a celebrated Mississippi art gallery, the space is an artist's dream home. The 2,400 sq. ft. open floor plan features unique art and a blend of contemporary and antique furnishings. The loft has one king bed and one queen bed with two couches and a glider (for those of you who are not southern, that is a daybed that swings!) one full bathroom with a large shower, a laundry room, full kitchen, and a rooftop terrace for watching the incredible sunsets. The loft is equipped with Wi-Fi and a security system for your added convenience and safety!

We, as a group of 4 retired teachers, absolutely loved our stay in Chris’s loft above her gallery. She welcomed us in and gave us a tour explaining what we needed to know to make the visit perfect! We had everything we needed plus more. Chris had even done some Christmas decorating which made the stay so festive.
All the artwork was amazing in the loft- such an eclectic assortment. Rooftop was great even with the weather being a little cool. Sunset? Wow! Beds were very comfy. We were right in the perfect location for shopping and good restaurants. I personally loved the art, lamps and book collections so much. ❤️

We truly enjoyed our beautiful downtown loft stay. The loft has everything you want or need. We were able to walk to eat dinner every night, enjoy the park within walking distance, and even enjoy the beautiful murals.

We loved everything about our wonderful three days staying in the Loft above H C Porter Gallery. The views and amenities were terrific. We enjoyed all of the art work. We walked to the Civil War Museum, which was incredible in breadth. We had fabulous food at Rustys Riverfront Grill and at 10 South Rooftop Bar and Grill where we had a wonderful view of the mighty Mississippi River and a memorable sunset. We loved Vicksburg. The people were friendly, and we loved our temporary home at The Loft, also with a river view from the rooftop terrace. Lydia was very helpful and friendly at the gallery. We will definitely return. Also the Military Museum was a high light.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely and comfortable loft. Located near many restaurants and shops, it also has a great view from the roof deck. Our host was responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

The loft was fantastic for our soccer weekend! My daughter has decided that she wants to be an artist! The rooftop was fun and the elevator was a Godsend! Chris let us know if eateries near by and we enjoyed our time there!

We we're there for a convention. Our VRBO was the envy of all. This is a beautiful and spacious place. It is in a great location for walking to everything. As a host, Chris could not have been more attentive and gracious. Beautiful location with a rooftop patio overlooking the river.

This is an excellent place to stay which is down town Vicksburgh MS.
Chris is a superb host who treats you like a celebrity/VIP. The property is located close to all the attractions and to all the great restaurants- most in walking distance. Great lay out and has a deck over looking the river - great sun sets . The place is very clean and open with every thing you could possibly need. Perfect stay for a couple or a family with children. I highly recommend this stay.

We ate at Rustys and 10South. Both delicious. Our full day was on Sunday but we did find enough to stay busy all day. The Vicksburg National Military Park and USS Cairo in the park are a must see. Great loft at great location!
This loft was a fun find for our two night stay in Vicksburg. Location is fabulous for Military Park and downtown. Owner is wonderful to work with. Stairs could be an issue for some, but she’s putting in a elevator!

Vibrantly Vicksburg!
I had a wonderful stay at this incredibly spacious loft apartment in the heart of historic Vicksburg. Chris, my host, made me feel like an old friend as she gave me her (roof)top to bottom tour of the site. Chris is an artist, and the apartment in lavishly bedecked with many of her attractive Mississippi-themed creations. She was quick to respond whenever I had a question. The location is an easy walk to many of Vicksburg’s historic homes and museums, as well as several excellent restaurants. I felt very safe downtown, and the streets tended to get quiet fairly early, even on the weekend (I was there in January). Street parking only, but nearby parking places were easy to find. Highly recommended!

Absolutely Stunning!
We had an absolutely wonderful time! We've wanted to visit Vicksburg for a while to study local history and such. This stay was so much more than that. I cannot explain to you how much we loved our nights "at home" in the loft. We loved listening to Chris's collection of CDs and reading the books that were there. There was anything you could want in the kitchens and the entire place was immaculately clean. If you stay, you must get a homemade dessert from Walnut Hills and enjoy a drink or dinner while the sun sets across the street at 10 South Rooftop Bar and Grill. I'm a seasoned VRBO person and this was my favorite experience to date!
