Situated in Lake Anna, this attractive house for $414 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Beautiful Lake View Log Cabin home on the Public side of Lake Anna VA with Your own Private dock to dock your boat and/or wave runner. Deck is 1/2 shed covered to enjoy some shade as well. Great family-friendly cove to swim, fish & sit and relax at our dock on the water. You can walk in from the land or jump in at the end of the dock, depending on the water level at that time. We are in a family-friendly neighborhood/cove (no parties and no events) IF YOU ARE PARTIERS DO NOT REQUEST TO BOOK. RENTERS are responsible for their own linens - all TOWELS & SHEETS, or use Lake Anna Linens which are great! We are in a unique community- Both Waters Estates- you have access to bother the public side or private side of the lake. The boat launch is less than a mile down the road. HIGH SPEED INTERNET Our Log Cabin home has a nice large wrap-around shed-covered porch that faces the public side of Lake Anna, the perfect place to hang out to play games, watch the wildlife fly by and cook your favorite foods. The cove you face is not the cove where our dock is, that is the main part of the lake. Sorry we love Pets but we Do Not accept Pets. Spiral staircase to the finished basement with twin bunk beds, thick mattress queen futon bed, foosball, full bath & laundry room Please check the calendar under Availability for open dates. Some partial weeks are available. 2 master Bedrooms upstairs with King & Full-size beds in each room. Both rooms have a stunning view of the Public side of the lake. Both have window AC units as well as ceiling fans. These rooms tend to be the warmest in the warmer months of the year. The AC units cool the rooms quickly, please do not let them run all day. 1st floor Bedroom has Queen bed with a great view of the lake as well. another 1st floor room with a set of Twin Wooden Bunk Beds for children Each floor has its own FULL bathroom. Central AC, and Window AC Units in top floor master bedrooms, washer & dryer, dishwasher, microwave Fully equipped Kitchen and also propane BBQ grill on patio under the porch. Table & chairs there too to relax while cooking. Flat screen TVs in the living room and basement & some bedrooms. off-air TV, DVD player, Foosball table, older bikes in the shed for your use as well 45' floating dock and deck (1/2 is shed covered) at the water to sit and relax Linens (sheets & towels) are not included but you can contact Lake Anna Linens for great service! Toiletries not included TRASH PICKUP begins for WEEKLY Rentals only- beginning in JUNE will get picked up 1 time midweek, then you Must take your remaining TRASH & all your Recyclables on your checkout. We include info in your check-in email we will send you. Access to Both Waters Estates Private Boat ramp which provides access to both the public and private sides of Lake Anna. You launch on the left side (public side) to drive your boat or wave runner to our cove/dock to keep your boat at our dock for your stay. **16 miles from Lake Anna state park. Fantastic trails for walking many along the lake, beach, nice nature center & more! Lake Anna is the second largest freshwater inland lake in Virginia with some 250 miles of shoreline and 13,000 surface acres of water. Lake Anna is a premier spot for fishing and water sports. Although we are out in the country, Lake Anna has a lot to offer! You can spend the day at the many wineries around the area, and of course, watch the sunrise and sunset over beautiful Lake Anna. Beautiful sunset at Both Waters community both ramp. Sunrise from our yard or shed covered porch or bedrooms certain times of the year. Bumpass, Va, Lake view, Large shed covered Porch, public side of Lake Anna, private dock, common area access & boat ramp, with access to private side of the lake too

The house was clean and exactly how it was described on the website. There was lots of room for us to sleep and lots of space for our family. Instructions were easy to follow, I loved the option to rent linens, in communication with the owner was simple, I felt like I was talking to a friend.

We had a great time. The house has lots of beds and bathrooms, a nice veranda, and a great water view. I recommend that the description be updated to say that there is no indoor dining room table, only a small breakfast nook and several stools at the counter. Fortunately, the weather was nice enough for the family of 6 to eat Thanksgiving dinner on the large veranda which had plenty of tables and chairs.

We enjoyed our week swimming and boating and staying at Michele and Paul’s home. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating even through a minor plumbing crisis. Especially great: the private dock and wrap around deck for dining and relaxing. Highly recommended.

We had a great week at the Lake House. The kids enjoyed swimming off the dock and we rented a pontoon boat from Dukes Marina and enjoyed tubing on the lake. House was clean and well maintained. Recommend this property for a family vacation.

Accommodations were great. TV wasn’t working but we were notified ahead of time and spent most of the time staring at the beautiful lake views rather than be inside!

We vacationed with our best friends and their children. Spent most of the time in the water either on our boat or on kayaks and paddle boards. Ending the evening on the deck playing cards while the kids played corn hole or caught fireflies was perfection. Our only regret was that the weekend we chose coincided with an annual jet boat tournament/fundraiser which made for loud boats driven by folks not super respectful of keeping away from fishing vessels. That has no reflection on the property, just our future vacation planning.

We rented the property 7/17-7/24/21 and had the most relaxing vacation. The location was peaceful with lake views. We rented a golf cart for the week to allow the daily trips to the lakefront and trips around the neighborhood. The dock had easy access to the water, where we floated on tubes and launched kayaks. The neighboring dock was close but the family was very friendly. The size of the house allowed each of our family members to have their own level, so we had privacy and enjoyed board games on the porch in the evenings.

We loved this log cabin. Access to both the public and private side. Surrounded by trees, and yet full view of the lake. Nice private yard with horseshoes, firepit, picnic table. Great wrap-around deck with view of the water. We absolutely loved our weekend getaway. Can't wait to come back in the fall and enjoy warm water when the "big lake" is too cold for swimming.

Had a great time there. Good location back from the water with a small pier big enough for my boat and jetski. The cove is secluded from the main water so that is a plus. The walk down the hill is to the pier is alot of exercise, however you can drive down there but must back up the hill which isn't a problem. The owners a very nice and helpful and the house has plenty of beds and room to sleep. The stairs to the main floor can be a problem if there are elderly. We would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a great location.

Our extended family celebrated my son’s 10th birthday at Lake Anna. The house and dock were perfect! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out; the porch was perfect with a beautiful view of the lake; the dock was great for fishing and taking the boat out; the yard was spacious and fairly private for games, a bonfire and grilling. Michele was very accommodating, easy to reach and a pleasure to work with!

Lovely lake views and a comfortable place. The kitchen was well stocked. My only recommendation would be for more and brighter lighting - it was a bit dim after dark. Also want to recommend R&R Rentals who delivered two tandem kayaks for us to use for the weekend.

We had a wonderful time. It is an easy and comfortable house to enjoy and look after. Since our weather was so pleasant the very spacious veranda was like having 2 more family rooms with a beautiful view!

We do an annual trip dads + kids, leave moms at home. driving down from N Virginia. Easy ride < 2 hrs. Nice location. about 100 yards from the Lake and has private dock you can fish off of or just load your kayak. Kids wanted a 'camping' experience so we were able (with permission from owner) to pitch tents to the side of the house. Nice to have the house for inclement weather etc. Owners are very nice easy to communicate with. would stay again.

We enjoyed our brief stay at this property. The owners were responsive and we found the place clean upon our arrival. Sitting around the fire pit in the evening was a favorite with the kids!
