About this cottage rental
Situated in Mandeville, this attractive cottage for $145 per night is a great choice for your next break. Nestled among the woods just moments away from the sparkling shores of Lake Pontchatrain. This charming raised cottage provides the perfect retreat for your vacation. The inviting interior features a spacious living area with a memory foam sleeper sofa, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room and a very comfortable bedroom for a restful night's sleep. With a private deck offering views of nature and a tranquil escape while being in close proximity to the allure of the lake. Two bikes are available for guest use and there are bike rentals near the Mandeville Trailhead. The Trailhead hosts a farmers market on Saturdays, free Spring and Fall concerts and a splash pad for the kids. From the cottage you can jump on the Tammany Trace bike path and head toward Covington and Abita Springs or toward Fontainbleau State Park. Mandeville is a bike and pedestrian friendly community with access to restaurants and shopping. Covered parking is available under the cottage. There is so much to do in Mandeville but it is just 30 minutes from the hustle and bustle of historic New Orleans......

We highly recommend this cute cottage! It was perfect for our wedding weekend stay! The owners were very helpful & responsive, we found the property exactly how it was described, the bikes were awesome as we rode thru town & along the water front, and the list goes on!! We will be back!

Location was easy to locate, surrounding area beautiful. Cottage was very clean and had all we needed for our stay. Perfect for a get-away from it all stay. Will definitely stay again when traveling to the area. If you need a break from the world this cottage is what you need.

The location was perfect and only a short bike ride to the beautiful lakefront park which we enjoyed each evening at sunset. My husband and I just had a quick getaway and decided to stay at this cottage again. The location is very convenient, and it is easy to get to. We enjoy the resturants on the lakefront and walking and riding our bikes.

The property was just as pictured, clean and charming. We stayed just a few weeks before Christmas and we were able to ride our bikes to Girod Street for the weekend market...so much to see.
The only complaint I could have is that the bathroom doesn't have a vent...the bathroom is directly connected to the living room so there was no sense of privacy. That really wasn't too big of a deal, it was just the two of use staying and we just increased the volume on the TV.

This home was just what we needed to visit with family on the North Shore. We have family in Mandeville and in Covington. We loved the fact we could walk to the lake and watch the boats. It was very relaxing. It was very clean and the king size bed is very comfortable. We will be back next time we visit family.

The combination of the location and the bikes made for a nice weekend. We didn't get access instructions until 30 minutes before check-in and that was a bit nerve-racking. But once we had those, everything was great!
