About this condo rental
Located in Canmore, this attractive condo for $511 per night is a great choice for your next break. This 1000 sq ft condo is perfectly situated in the beautiful mountain town of Canmore. 20 minute walk from the trendy main street restaurants and shops, and less than 10 minute drive to Banff National Park. The mountain views from our unit are stunning, and can be enjoyed from the living room, 2nd bedroom and the patio. Our retreat is on the second floor, situated over a beautifully landscaped courtyard, with windows that let in lots of natural light. I also have lots of my photography from the nearby mountains displayed on the walls (not shown yet in our listing photos). Located in a privately owned unit in the condominium complex that contains Solara Resort. A resort-style complex which is one of the most premiere accommodations in Canmore. This condo is privately owned and managed; it is not operated by the hotel manager. Enjoy the large hot tub, swimming pool, well equipped fitness centre, kids play room, and the luxurious One Wellness Spa. There is underground heated parking for one vehicle and free street parking nearby. High end furniture and appliances, wine fridge, cork floors, stone counter tops. We have all the cookware and dishes that you need to enjoy your own meals. One bedroom has a king size bed and the other a queen. There's also a comfy queen sofa bed in the living room. Unwind with televisions in the living room and the king bedroom with cable package and ability to sign into your netflix account. Washer and Dryer in the unit. The entire unit is available for your use except for locked storage where we keep some of our personal belongings. Our condo has free Wi-Fi that can be accessed throughout the resort.

We loved staying here for our Winter Vacation! My friend and I brought our two daughters who figure skate to enjoy skating at Lake Louise. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner in the condo while spending each day skating at Lake Louise! Can’t wait to come back in the summer!

The owner was easy to contact and responded quickly. The fireplaces were a bit of an issue. None of the remotes worked. The instructions were not clear either. You have to remove the glass and the buttons are on the bottom right. The fire light does not work on the living room fireplace. One bedroom fireplace worked fine with the exception of the remote. In the 2nd bedroom the fan and light worked but the heater did not work. When we arrived in the condo the heat was at 16 degrees. We could not increase the heat with the thermostat. Once we figured out the fireplaces we were able to raise the temperature to a comfortable level. The pool and hot tub were also closed during our stay. I would stay again.

We have stayed at the Solara many times and have always had a great experience! Adam’s place was no exception. The condo was clean and a comfy place to relax in between activities. We really enjoyed the host’s book of recommended restaurants/activities in the area, this was a nice touch! Other than needing to empty the dishwasher upon our arrival (which is a small detail), we had an excellent stay. Would stay again!

Mountain Views condo was ideal for my family’s needs and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Travelling from New Brunswick for the Core Values Cider Co. taproom grand opening, a family reunion in Red Deer & visiting Banff National Park as our ‘teenage’ mother did with her family. Had a blast at Hello Vintage & Core Values’ Halloween party.
The condo description was accurate & access information made entry quick. All rooms were clean & the kitchen was well appointed. A perfect location with convenient parking & very easy to get downtown or out of town.
Adam was available & responsive to our heating inquiry. A new thermostat resolved the issue. We appreciated Adam’s courtesy & the prompt work of several technicians.
The master suite fireplace remote didn’t work, even with new batteries. My sister turned the fireplace on manually which helped warm the room. Adding this on/off manual instruction to the fireplace description may be helpful.
Adam was a great host. We recommend this VRBO rental to those wanting to stay downtown & in walking distance to many amenities. Thank you :)

We enjoyed our getaway. Hiked to the Ink Pots at Johnson's Canyon and enjoyed walking some of the trails around Canmore. Underground parking was handy and the facilities were clean, very nice and well stocked. Instructions and area info within the beautiful photo book were much appreciated.

Beautiful property. Had the necessary cutlery and dishes to cook. A BBQ would have been really nice. There was leftover dishes in the dishwasher. Some stuff from previous guests under main bed. Terrible broom, cant sweep anything with it. Could not get hold of owner to change the setting on the furnace (it was really hot in the apartment) and wanted to stay another day but was unsuccesful.

We used this condo as our home base to explore the Banff area. It was a nice, clean, well-appointed unit and easy to get on and off the freeway. Parking was easy, always an available spot. The Solara resort was a little old and showing its age, especially the pool and hot tub area. There was a very nice cafe near the reception area. We would rent this unit again.

Totally enjoyed out stay. The condo was as advertised, very comfortable and well stocked. Canmore was great, restaurants and shopping was fun. Close to the National Park and all the sites. Would highly recommend the complex and the condo.

This is a perfect place to stay and the location is just right. We could easily walk into town for dinner and shopping. The condo is very cozy and comfortable and felt like home. Adam was very responsive and helpful with any questions that we had.

Everything about the stay was terrific. Condo was clean and provided more than enough space and privacy for me, husband and 2 adult daughters. We initially booked as a jumping off point to Banff (20 min drive away) but spent more time in Canmore! Hiking, restaurants, and the downtown were fabulous. Adam is a terrific host, very responsive. I would highly recommend this rental.

Very private and you can't hear anything from the other condos.
Pool and hot tub access great for the kids.
Access code for entry very convenient that you don't have to worry about keys or access cards.
Read the book that is in the living room. It has all the information you need to know about your stay.

Suite was very clean and spacious. Nice large deck to sit on and enjoy the sun. Had no issues with check in process. Only thing I would comment about the underground parking is if you are driving a truck parking can be tight.

My friend and I desperately needed a relaxing few days away and we achieved our objective. The suite is beautiful, practical, well-situated and close to any amenity we needed. We enjoyed massages at One Wellness, which is in the Solara resort, shopped in Canmore’s downtown core, which caters to locally made products, enjoyed the Banff Hot Springs, sat in awe of the spectacular views and participated in feeding frenzies with our ridiculously fine dinners. Many thanks to our host Adam and family for providing a welcoming oasis to two tired old ladies.

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo. It has the best equipped kitchen of any vacation rental we have stayed in (and there have been many). The place was clean, well maintained and comfortable. The lower level parking area was great for loading and unloading gear. The only negative is the hot tub and pool being basement level in the resort was kind of strange (no natural light). However, the resort and this unit are still fantastic overall. We would definitely stay again when we are in the area.

We could not have had a better time during our time in Canmore and Banff, Adam's condo was absolutely perfect for our stay! Very clean, comfortable, and easily accessible. We also especially appreciated Adam's guest information book with a variety of suggestions, area items of interest and things to do. Overall a great touch and a very nice source of additional area information that we would not have discovered otherwise. Would absolutely recommend this property and look forward to staying again when we return to the area.

We’ve been to this complex on a number of occasions and always enjoy our stay. This unit was clean and spacious for four adults. The property owners were helpful and timely with responses. We’d recommend the unit for those looking to spend some time in one of the best getaway spots in Western Canada!

Really great option for traveling into the mountains and around the area... Adam's unit was perfect for our needs. We felt like we lived in Canmore with the 2-bedroom 2-bath suite. We were able to do laundry, which was great! And we enjoyed cooking breakfasts before heading out to explore. It was also great to have dedicated parking undergorund as the streets can fill up. We would stay again in a heartbeat!
