Nestled in Silver City, this charming house for $92 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. This is one out of three rentable units under the same roof. You'll need to climb a flight of stairs to access it. The Heart and Wings Retreat Center offers easy access to downtown Silver City and the Gila forest. This serene getaway is five minutes from the highway and ten minutes from the center of town. You can hike or bike straight out of the house, or drive ten minutes to the Continental Divide Trail. You'll have the second floor of the house to yourself. Kitchenette has Mexican plates. Bathroom has Mexican tiles and sink. Each room has views of the surrounding hills. Each bedroom has a twin bed and an oriental rug. The large bedroom has a desk and comfortable sitting area with a chaise and a large overstuffed chair. It opens onto a deck. The small bedroom has ample shelf space and a Mexican-tiled bedside table.

Wonderful vacation spot with gorgeous views and a very comfortable homey atmosphere. Our host was very friendly and accommodating. This was the perfect setting for our yearly girls weekend. We will definitely consider returning in the future. Thank for a lovely stay.

We had the upstairs apartment which is very roomy and has its own deck which is great for star gazing and listening to a cry from a far off Coyote. Loved it so much we didn’t want to leave

Overall stay was awesome. Location was great and very serene. The space was great for our stay. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the caretaker being on site, but it was actually nice to have a friendly face near by if we needed anything. The coffee was great and thank you for having it available! Definitely will be booking again since I will be in Silver City more often.

Azaima was an excellent hostess! Her property was secluded, quiet, well maintained and clean. She had everything I needed for rest and relaxation. The hot tub was a bonus and I really enjoyed the deck every morning and evening. There is a short hiking trail, a hammock, security gate with a code for entry, so you feel safe and private. The dogs are friendly and the atmosphere is warm. Location is only a couple of miles outside of town which is quite convenient. I stayed here end of May for the Blues Festival and slept like a rock with the windows open and the cool breezes from the fresh mountain air. Would definitely stay here again!

Azaima's beautiful and restful retreat center was a highlight of our road trip through southern New Mexico. Immaculate, cheerful and restful, we enjoyed the hot tub, deck and very comfortable furnishings. She was a very good host, available and accomodating yet respectful of our privacy. It was a perfect stay!

We stayed upstairs and enjoyed the views from the deck, the spaciousness of the apartment, the comfort of the bed and the cleanliness of the facility. I did not enjoy the on and off again barking from neighbor dogs through the night. If you have poor hearing, like my wife, you will have a wonderful stay.

We had entire second floor which had a deck, small kitchen, and great country views with lots of sun. We loved the extensive library and New Mexico vibe. The location was ideal for us about 3 miles outside Silver City so it was quiet but close to town and amenities. Helpful and knowledgeable host well!

This place is WONDERFUL! We loved it. Stunning views. Well maintained. Lovely space. Quiet, peaceful and close to town yet in the country. We will stay here again. Azaima is a fab hostess. This was the highlight of our 5 week trip. We extended so we could stay at this slice of heaven longer. Great place!!

This was the 4th time staying here, it was great as usual. Got to see some big sky stuff this time. The dogs were friendly and even had one as a guest for part of an evening. Looking forward to staying there in the future.

Very pleasant surroundings in the pines. Every time we drove in or out we saw a young doe either eating or resting; she was fairly tame and we got some nice photos of her. Spent a quiet hour in the hot tub Saturday afternoon; that was lovely with the birds and the peaceful breezes.

This little apartment is a real gem. The surrounding country is beautiful, and the apartment is lovingly decorated and cared for in true New Mexico style. It is very quiet there, and yet you are just minutes away from Silver City.
