Located in Deep Creek Lake, this attractive house for $625 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Newly available dates August 10-17 due to cancellation. Enjoy a spacious, lakefront, newer home with 100' of private flat beach (no stairs to the water like so many other DC properties). Perfect for families with young children and seniors. Near Thousand Acres golf course. Our Thousand Acres property on Green Glade, has a private dock, private tennis court/pickleball court, many spaces for gathering together and places for grabbing some quiet time. Approximately 3600 sq ft, decorated in a nice blend of new furnishings accented with antiques. Enjoy expansive lake views from nearly every room. Beautiful vaulted wood ceilings, granite counters in the kitchen and all baths, wood stove and gas fireplace, outdoor fire pits, outdoor shower, hot tub, multiple decks, and ceiling fans in every room for summer comfort. Our well outfitted roomy kitchen is a cook's delight. Great room, 4 bedrooms, TV room/den with sleeper = 5 private sleeping spaces, plus 2 lofts (with 2 queen beds) and 4.5 baths . Outdoor shower is private and a delight. Decks overlooking the lake have multiple tables, lounges, BBQ and hot tub. House configuration- Downstairs: -Kitchen -Great Room -Dining room -Master bedroom with bath, (lake view, Q) -Lake view bedrm w/ french doors onto deck (Q) -TV room/den (Q sleeper) -Large laundry/mudroom, adjacent outdoor shower. -2nd bath Upstairs: -Main staircase leads to open vaulted sitting area with TV, sofas. -3rd bedroom upstairs, with private bath (queen+twin) -4th Bedroom lake view, private balcony (Q) -Second upstairs bath serves 4th bedroom and sitting room A second set of stairs leads to a vaulted loft split by a half bath, separating spaces for two queen beds and an office space. Guest will feel comfortable with the privacy on each side. Two fire rings, one adjacent to the house, one near the beach with chairs. We're the least crowded cove on the lake, yet only 6 miles by boat to the main lake. Perfect for early morning fishing, waterskiing, wake boarding or swimming. Bring your boat or you can rent one from a local marina. Play tennis or pickle ball (equipment provided though you might want to bring balls) or tennis on our court, hike, fish, swim, bike, jog, all from our location. Nearby attractions include Swallow Falls State Park and Thousand Acres Golf Course a few minutes away. Experience the best that the mountains of Western Maryland have to offer. An application and rental agreement spell out the details. 2 Kayaks, 2 paddle boards and row boat available for use (at your own risk). PFD's are not provided but are required by local authorities. Dogs are considered on a case by case basis. If allowed, an additional non-refundable pet fee is charged. **Hot Tub is winterized from Nov 1 to May 1. Each year the family gets together our grown children and their partners. We have almost always enjoyed time at the ocean but this year wanted to try a lake.
This was such a beautiful property. You could not ask for a better stocked kitchen, and such wonderful lightening outside. It was magical. I grew up on lakes and did not realized how much I had missed the beauty and ease of going to a lake. The owners were also extra helpful. It was really one of our favorite places

This place was not only beautiful, but it had everything you could think of. The firepit in the deck was a huge hit with our family. The dock on the lake with very easy access. It was so relaxing. The owners communicated very well. It was just a perfect place.

We had a very comfortable stay with family and friends at this home, would absolutely stay again. Beds were comfortable, living room and kitchen were large and comfortable for our large group. Indoor fireplace was just perfect and the outdoor space didn't disappoint.

We fell in love with deep creek lake. Property was great location and the kayaks were awesome to have. House was huge and grill and deck just what we needed. Amazing to wake up and walk to the dock and fish or get out on the lake. The property owners were super fast to get back to any of our questions. Awesome stay.

This is a large attractive property in a quiet part of the lake. The house is very well supplied and the owners are quick to respond to questions. We especially liked the large deck overlooking a short path through the trees to the dock. We sat on the dock as night fell looking at the stars and watching Jupiter rise. Pack carefully as it is a half hour to the grocery store!

We had a few issues with getting to know the house, but the owner is extremely responsive and kind. She walked us through all of the unknowns. We will definitely return!

Great location for a fall vacation. Wooded property with great views and feel. Children loved the woods and little beach area. Amenities (paddle board, kayaks, firewood) were an added bonus. The view of the house at night with outdoor lights was unforgettable.

Unfortunately the weather was uncooperative for outdoor activities most of our stay, but the beautiful and well appointed home allowed us to enjoy our time spent indoors. Owners are easy to communicate with and very helpful. Looking forward to returning here with some nice weather!

Since we are living in a pandemic, we decided to take my parents away to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary instead of throwing a party and THIS property was the PERFECT place! We were 3 couples and we each had a section of the house to ourselves, providing privacy. The house is abundantly supplied: towels, linens, 2 washing machines/dryers, games, outside tables/chairs with all necessary cushions, and EVERY SINGLE THING you could need in a kitchen! There is a very short walk down a clear path to the lake. My parents are 70 and felt very comfortable walking the property. There are two kayaks/paddles and two paddleboards/paddles. I enjoyed trying paddle boarding for the first time in a fairly secluded spot, so the only witnesses I had were family. There is a row boat, which we were disappointed to find out only had one oar (it was the one water related activity my dad wanted to try) but the host had already ordered another set so that will be fine. The hot tub was clean.
The host was very quick to respond to my inquiries/ concerns.
I would suggest taking along a towel or two for the day that you leave as one of the check out policies it to have towels washed clean for next renter.
I hope you'll enjoy yourselves like we did. So many wonderful memories made!
