About this house rental
Situated in Castle Rock, this lovely house for $189 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Beautiful home on one of the highest points in Castle Rock! If you like gorgeous sunsets, epic mountain views and incredible storm watching but with a secluded Colorado setting you will love this house. The home sits on 9.6 acres but grocery and restaurants are easy to walk to across the street and outdoor activities and highway access are all within 2 miles. Enjoy the wood burning stove in the living room on chilly, snowy evenings and watch the wildlife through the windows surrounding the dining area. This charming, quiet home offers a beautiful kitchen complete with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and plenty of cabinet space. Comfortable, spacious bedrooms and plenty of additional beds for family or entertaining. Incredibly cool paths right outside the door to dramatic large rock outcroppings and places to explore. Great for kid adventures, nature lovers or photographers! I recently added two amazing benches affixed to the rocks for those epic mountain view photos! And for the kids at heart, I added an ATARI throwback console with 120 retro ATARI games from the 80's! I added a 2nd beautiful 3/4 bathroom and an outdoor "Box of Fun" to include games such as Spikeball, Cornhole, Large Dice, Ladder Toss, Flickin' Chicken, a basketball hoop and Yoga Mats for meditation on the rocks!

Great location and views. Property needs some attention. Felt really only caters for 7 not 9 due to bedding arrangements but enjoyed our stay.

My husband, our 4 kids ages 3 - 20, and my mom stayed for a week. There was more than enough room, the house was generously stocked, and the view from the property can’t be beat. Highly recommended!!!!

We wanted to stay in Colorado with s wonderful view. We found the perfect house in Castle Rock
The view out the back patio is just outstanding. An unobstructed view of the Front Range including Pike’s Peak, Sleeping Giant, and Mt. Evans. In the morning I’d wake up and and enjoy a cup of tea with a view. In the evening my wife and I enjoyed a glass of wine and a marvelous sunset.
The location of the house is between Pikes Peak and Denver which makes it a great location for road trips.
The owner of the house was attentive to all our questions and needs. It was a great stay for us.
Overall I’d recommend this location for anyone wanting a great view at a reasonable price in Colorado.

As has been said, the views are breathtaking. We also found the location perfect for our adventures both in Colorado Springs and Denver/Boulder. We loved the privacy of the property too. Despite “neighbors”, it was really secluded and we felt right at home.

We had a great stay with no issues. The views from the backyard were so beautiful. We had plenty of room and felt like we were at home being away from home. We would definitely recommend the property.

Great location, spectacular views, very nice lower level apartment that is well-represented by the photos. The main bedroom has a recurring ceiling leak, but Brian responded quickly when we contacted him. Other than some missing household items, the apartment is very well-stocked and nicely decorated and furnished. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this property to others.

We needed a base to stay near family, close to Denver to visit friends, and to drive to Copper to ski for a day. We especially loved to bunk room for a cousin camp out! It was a great location that met all our needs! And the VIEWS!!!!

Celebrated my son's wedding at a venue nearby. Just a tip to the owner though. The driveway entrance could be marked better to find property. Also, I'm used to soap and shampoo to be provided. The supply was minimal. Insignificant details but enjoyed our stay overall.

There were a few issues that came up… the pullout bed was broken, the washing machine broke in the middle of the wash cycle, and the ceiling leaked in the master bedroom. Thankfully we caught the leak before it went into our luggage. The views were beautiful though!

Brian was great with communicating! The property was perfect for our family and close to all that we wanted to do! We will remember our CO trip forever! VRBO is always the way to go - we were very happy with our space - especially the patio in the evenings for grilled dinners, campfires and the scenery.
