This rental is considered oceanfront, however you do have to cross a very quiet, one way road to access the two different beach entrances directly across the street. "Evangelyn" is one of 3 units in a private home. There is one unit upstairs and two smaller units downstairs. "Evangelyn" has two bedrooms and one full sized bath. Bedroom one has a Queen sized bed, closet and dresser. Bedroom two has a queen size bed with a closet and dresser. Beds are prepared with 100 % cotton sheets. This rental has a fully equipped kitchen for all of your cooking needs, a full sized washer/dryer, Comcast Wifi, Flat Screen TV, DVD player and Direct TV service. There is a picnic table located directly outside for outdoor seating and dining. This is a wonderful and inviting space for guests to kick back and relax. Located less then two blocks away from restaurants, shops and the pier, yet on the quieter west side of Folly. Great location and value! It was a perfect spot for us. While some repairs need to be fone (hello we were there the end of July, can you say beyond busy time!) the house clean and perfect for us. It was a short walk to the beach and very doable carrying a chair even with a bum knee. No steps to climb was a very great added benefit for us "older" ladies😁 The only thing missing was a view of the ocean but for the price we paid, we understood that limit. The dunes were pretty though. It was a great stay!

Lovely and quaint apartment. Easy to book and easy to communicate with the owners. Wonderful beach access right across the road. Easy commute to downtown Charleston. We hope to come back and stay. Highly recommend!

Quant, clean and cozy 2 bedroom close to everything. Beach is a 2 minute walk. Downtown is a 5 minute walk. Great price right in the heart of Folly Beach.

Overall nice place to stay and the location to the beach and shops is perfect! We suggest providing more beach chairs, we had to purchase 2 of our own and leave them there. Provide better outside eating area, provide charcoal grill would be nice along with an outdoor umbrella. We recommend updating the bathroom and kitchen area. We recommend replacing front door and if possible add a screen door. All around we enjoyed our stay and look forward to being back next year!!

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed staying here! It was very clean and conveniently located to the beach and shopping and entertainment! We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner Lynn who was extremely kind and welcoming! We will be back!

over all good, a few things needs to be addressed. the (up stairs) neighbor t.v. could be heard (clearly) from the door that was bolted and locked (leading upstairs). the entire place needs a fresh coat of paint, the bathroom vanity needs to be replaced.

I have stayed at Evangeline before with family & kids, so I knew that it was the perfect place for my girlfriend and I to have a quick, last minute Folly visit this time around. The home was as before, clean/tidy and comfy. The location is one of the best; across from the beach, in the quiet area but still a short walk from everything such as Center St, pier, restaurants & shops.

We truly enjoyed this rental and everything within it. Every step was covered and very easy to utilize. The location was just perfect with 2 small children and senior adults for getting to everything (beach) especially. It was the best arrangement for us. Thank you for offering a safe very clean and exciting place to visit and stay. This was just perfect for the Easter week and getting to visit Folly Beach! 5 stars to you. P.s. we tried to clean the sand off the floors before we left because it was so clean when we arrived. Have a wonderful season. We loved all of it!

Great location. The only minor negative is that there was a lot of construction going on that we were not aware of. One of the construction truck's battery died and we ended up having to jump their truck - no problem, so a lot of extra activity with the construction. We loved our stay though and would definitely return.

Great location, very clean, perfect for a sister getaway. Our only issue was with renters in one of the other building units that did not respect the quiet hours. We easily heard all their noise through the shared wall, one night until 2- 3 AM. 😳 It did help some when we closed our bedroom doors.

Our little family of four absolutely loved our stay at “Evangeline”! The location was perfect - short 5-minute walk to town and a super short walk to the beach. There are public restrooms and showers right at the beach access, which is great if you don’t want to track sand into the rental. The apartment was super clean and well-stocked with towels, kitchen utensils, pots/pans, etc. The living room was the perfect place to rest, play board games, etc. after a long day on the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and plan to make it our annual Folly Beach rental location. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive to our questions. 10/10 recommend

The location is truly 10/10. The end of the street is nice and quiet. The rental is across the street from the beach and a 5 minute walk from the Main Street with restaurants and shopping. It was a nice quaint lower level apartment to keep our belongings and sleep.

At Folly Beach, location is all that matters. This home was amazing and served our needs perfectly. It was a quick walk from the front door to the beach, restaurants, and bars. No golf cart or wagons were needed. The home is an original build so don’t expect all of the excess and size. It is perfect for a family of 5 or two couples. The house was exceptionally clean for it’s proximity to the beach. Dedicated parking so you don’t have to pay daily. I cannot compliment the home or the management team and more. Top notch propertity.

This place is all about location. A one minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the main street. It is nothing fancy, but it is a clean place to lay your weary head. If you are planning on spending your days on the beach and going out on the town in the evenings this is the place for you. We never got in our car once we arrived until it was time to head home. Thanks for a great trip!

We stayed with our two kids and loved the location and comfort of the property. It was wonderful being so close to the beach while also a couple blocks away from the main street so it wasn't so loud in the evening. The set-up was perfect for a family with the two bedrooms.
