About this condo rental
Located in Carrabassett Valley, this lovely condo for $501 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Sugarloaf 2024 Winter season!! 3 Bedroom, 2 bath Condo with 150-foot walk to whiffletree lift, Slope side. Well-appointed condo with all the amenities you will need for a great week at the LOAF. Our cleanings have increased with more disinfectants and wiping of high touch surfaces. We have added a HEPA filter which cleans the air 4 times per hour. Sheets will be clean and ready for your use upon arrival. Beds will have blankets and comforter. There also will be two pillows on each bed. The bed set up is as follows. 2 Queen Beds and 2 Twin (single) beds. All with Standard pillows. Towels will be clean and here for you on arrival. Three-bedroom two bath condominium on premium location on the mountain. Cathedral ceilings and mountain views throughout. Walk or ski to base lodge, village and shops. This condo is directly adjacent to the Whiffletree quad lift. Ideal for all due to the ease in skiing or walking to lifts. One Queen bed in Master, One Queen bed in Mountainside room overlooking the Slopes and 2 twin beds in downstairs bedroom. Previous renters have given rave reviews! Not every property listed on HomeAway is equal, many are way down the hill. This property is in a great spot, and is clean, neat and well appointed. Sugarloaf was rated # 3 in the East in SKI magazine poll for overall Satisfaction! Perfect location: Great property, adjacent to Whiffletree quad. I ski home for lunch every day. Easy access to slopes and less than 5-minute walk to base lodge. Updated unit with new furniture and amenities. NO seasonal rentals

Great space, clean, well-supplied, great location close to the downhill and cross country trails. Easy communication with Ken. We were there for 10 days and I can’t think of anything that was missing during our stay! We would easily come back again.

We’ve been coming to Sugarloaf for about 5 years and have always rented through the mountain. This condo was by far superior than anything to what we have rented through the mountain. The condo was very clean, very well organized, was in a perfect location for ski in/ski out and the owner was very communicative, flexible and friendly during a tough weather situation we dealt with. The only problem with writing this review is letting others know about it! Can’t wait to come back!

Description of property spot on. Prime location, everything in unit easy to find and in excellent condition. Kitchen well appointed but small. Bedrooms and entry provided will lots of hooks for hanging ski clothes etc. Well designed glove drying stand also provided. Perfect for two couples or a small family. We were fortunate that our stay included several of the best powder days in years.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay for Feb skiing. Have small kids so the location was wonderful right off Whiffle tree. Very attentive host. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Would definitely return.

Great location, ski-in/out and luxurious upgrades. The main bathroom and kitchen have been redone very well. It is much better than seen on pictures. We will be back!

The only way to make this better would be to move the condo directly onto the slopes, it’s that close and that easy. From the secure ski storage to the well equipped kitchen, the views, excellent heating, and laundry setup any criticism would just be nitpicking. We’ll almost certainly be back.

Great spot!
My family and I have rented this property on a couple of occasions over the past couple of years, and we would not hesitate to do so in the future. It is always clean, accessible, and is in a great location to easily access all that Sugarloaf has to offer.

Great pots and pans, good sharp knives, ample paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, even found the deicer when the ski locker lock froze. The gas fireplace in the living room throws great heat while playing board games! We highly recommend this unit!

Perfect ski-in/ski-out location and everything you could possibly want in a rental.
5-star visit all around and I would certainly recommend this condo. Per usual, we had a great time enjoying all that the Loaf has to offer, but this sweet find of a condo really pushed our trip to another level. Only hard part about sharing this recommendation, is that it will lead to making availability harder to secure for the next visit (ha-ha). It’s a gem! The location really can’t be beat with easy ski-in/ski-out, only a few steps to Whiffletree lift, and only a few more steps to the lodge/village. Since the Loaf can be prone to winds, it was also nice to be able to see whether Whiffletree and the Quad were running in the morning via the upstairs bathroom window (didn’t even need to check the @sugarloafsnow report). Unless you decide to drive somewhere off mountain for dinner, you really could just park your car and never drive during your visit if you wanted to, which was a nice option. The condo itself was clean, perfectly stocked (plenty of bath towels, paper goods, dish soaps, trash bags, kitchen wares, laundry, sharp knives, etc.), large fridge and great stove for cooking. Comfortable beds and linens. Best of all, a cozy well-appointed living room, with the gas fireplace/stove that made for a nice après setting. We felt at home and never wanted to leave! Ken was extremely responsive and very nice. The neighbors we met were also very friendly. Love the Loaf!

Ken's condo had everything we needed for a family ski trip. My children were able to boot up and walk their gear from the condo to the lift (and back) with no issues. The kitchen was very usable - and we didn't even have to use the knifes we brought from home.

This was my first time to Sugarloaf with the kids and we had a great time. The property is clean, cozy, and in a perfect location to access the lifts, ski school, and the rest that the village has to offer.

This was our 3’rd time staying at this condo at the Loaf. Place is great. Love the size, layout and location. Very short ski to Whiffletree lift. We found it clean, well appointed and comfortable.

Our second stay - even better than the first!
Perfect condo for skiing at the Loaf. Ken is a great communicator and makes staying easy. My wife and I Agree with other reviewers that the updated kitchen looks great. Good views of the mountain, clean, neat and clearly well taken care of condo. We will definitely be back and I recommend Ken highly.

Well kept condo with convenient location.
Very comfortable condo with easy access to lifts and village. Ken was a pleasure to correspond with and made the entire transaction very easy. Redone kitchen is small but lovely and had nice dishes and useful cookware. Thank you! Look forward to staying there again if not this season then next!

Great location! Perfect for our family
Ken was right-the location is A+! It’s a short walk to the slopes. Step into your skiis and you’re right at the whiffletree lift and close to the base lodge. It was really convenient to ski from here with our children. The condo had everything we needed for a cozy and comfortable family ski vacation. The use of the ski locker was really convenient. Ken has thought of all the little details to make your stay comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing!
If your thinking Sugarloaf you need to stay at Kens condo! Excellent accommodations just as described with a short (45 second) walk to the closest trail/lift. It’s a very cozy home like experience that promotes a very relaxing enjoyable experience! I will definitely stay there again! Thanks Ken!
