Welcome to Hale Makai, our luxury beach home located on the beautiful and sunny west side of Kaua'i. We offer a host of amenities and a picturesque location for a relaxing and unforgettable vacation experience.
Take your pick of comfortable seating in the spacious living room, on the screened lanai or on the deck in the front yard - all perfect for lounging, enjoying a good book or soaking up the island vibes. Adjacent to the living room is the gourmet kitchen, stocked with a variety of appliances and cooking utensils. Whether you are an experienced chef or just enjoy whipping up a quick meal, this kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals and snacks.
Hale Makai features two spacious bedrooms. The primary suite boasts a king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The other bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and ample storage space. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep.
One of the standout features of Hale Makai is the private hot tub. Whether you want to soak after a day of exploring the island or simply relax and take in the beautiful scenery, the hot tub is the perfect place to unwind.
Hale Makai also offers a full-service indoor laundry room, complete with a washer and dryer.

If you’re looking for a beautiful ,quiet place to relax and enjoy your vacation this is it! You’re not going to find a better host. The house was extremely clean and had everything you need. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable. You’re only a short drive to many beaches. Lots of good small local restaurants and small businesses that have things you can’t find anywhere else. After a long day on the beach or sightseeing, go back to the beach house and enjoy the super clean hot tub to relax before dinner or going to bed. The hosts made wonderful suggestions about places to eat and great things to see.

Great place to stay on the “quiet side” of Kaua’i. Beautiful home right across the street from walkable quiet beach with the added plus of a great hot tub. Excellent proximity to Waimea Canyon and Koke’e state park for great hiking. Longer drive to north coast and Lihue/Poipu areas but for us the trade off was well worth it. Would definitely recommend.

Hale Makai was a perfect refuge and a great location for our stay on Kauai. The hot tub was a huge plus post-hike and Liz and Chad were awesome hosts! They provided everything we needed, from fully stocked kitchen to beach accessories.
