Welcome to my beautifully designed beach house on a secluded beach in Galveston, near Jamaica Beach! Karankawa beach is considered a hidden gem and is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation with family and friends. The Honey Hole is stylishly decorated with warm coastal colors so you can truly decompress and create great memories. Enjoy the three spacious decks and relax in the hot tub after a day at the beach. BBQ the catch of the day while sipping cocktails as the sun goes down. Enjoy the most sought-after location at my 2 bedroom/3 bath retreat designed with warm coastal colors, allowing you to enjoy your space when not on the beach soaking up the sun. Your weekend oasis is located on the Gulf of Mexico side of the island and just steps away from the beach. Whether you like to fish, workout or just relax you can enjoy the views of both the Gulf of Mexico and Galveston Bay. The beachside location is away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to Galveston’s best restaurants, cafes and shopping. Enjoy the three decks including a hot tub! The house is ready for your stay with clean sheets, towels and toiletries. The master suite has a king bed capable of sleeping 2 and the sea-worthy guest room sleeps 3 hosting a queen bed and twin bed with both bedrooms leading to the hot tub on the second floor balcony. The living room has a sleeper sofa for the little ones to fall asleep with watching the 65 inch smart LG tv. The outdoor space includes 3 private balconies with Gulf of Mexico views and a breezy bottom floor outfitted with a porch swing. If you like anything from a charming farmhouse, beloved Cape Cod, light-filled retreat, island living or just a simple escape you have found the right place. My husband and I enjoyed a week away at the Honey Hole. Mary is a very helpful, responsive host. Check in was super easy. Super clean and kitchen very well stocked. Spent lots of time in the new hot tub. Loved exploring the island and found many great restaurants, coffee shops, liquor stores, and grocery stores. Downtown has lots of great places to visit, and there’s a cute little mini-golf place not far away. Only bummer was it stormed a couple times, resulting in the road between us and the beach to be flooded the whole week. If we had brought sandals or boots we may have ventured through it. The power went out after the second storm but was restored within a few hours. Overall we had everything we needed and loved a quiet place to reconnect and enjoy some downtime. We cannot wait to return to this little gem!!

My husband and I stayed here after Christmas. The townhouse is older, but beautiful and well maintained. It was clean, quiet and we felt safe. It does have stairs, so know you'll need to walk up and down those. There was a huge TV and a hot tub. The beach was incredibly close and not crowded at all. There was just us and a few other people. The gulf views are awesome. You can see the sunrise from both bedrooms and the dining/living area. Mary, the host, was very helpful; she suggested we bring rainboots as it had rained. It was a great idea because the weather was cooler and they came in handy for puddles and walking on the sand. Some local restaurants were suggested and they turned out very nice. We visited many of the sights and sounds of Galveston and enjoyed ourselves very much. We will definitely be back. This townhouse would be a great place to come back to.

This home was a great place to relax. Very close to the beach, private hot tub. Instructions were clear and house was well labeled. Host was very communicative. Overall good stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! The Honey Hole was beautiful, very clean and we felt really comfortable there. Check in was easy and everything in the home was organized/easy to find. Mary was very accommodating and provided everything we could possibly need. We hope to visit again in the future. Thank you again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is the best equipped kitchen I have ever encountered in an vacation rental property. Access to beach is also great!

I recently stayed at this beautiful Galveston property and I couldn't be happier with my experience! The house is spacious, well-appointed, and the hot tub was a fantastic touch. The location is perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas, but still just a quick drive to everything we wanted to do. The beach was only a short walk away, which was a huge plus for us.
The house itself was immaculate and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with all the necessary appliances and cookware, and the living areas were cozy and inviting.
The owner was also fantastic - responsive and easy to communicate with. They provided clear instructions on how to access the property and were available to answer any questions we had during our stay.
Overall, I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Galveston.

Quiet location. Property as advertised. Liked that there was a grocery store within walking distance for incidentals. Beach was also within walking distance. Location is not near the highly commercial area of Galveston but also not so far away that it took long to get there.

The host is super communicative and helpful. Because of the cold weather we had some
trouble with freezing water, but that was quickly resolved and didn’t negatively impact our stay. The host was so helpful and the space was beautiful. We loved the views, the open kitchen/living/dining space for meals and family time and the quick access to a calm and beautiful beach. We would definitely rent this space again.

Everything was great except for the weather. The street behind the property were flooded the whole time so we were not able to walk to the beach. However, Mary really does care about her guests and it really shows. Overall a fun family trip and would stay at the honey-hole again.

Beautiful property!! This house was so clean and well stocked. We absolutely loved the hot tub and the beds were very comfortable. The beach was a short 2 minute walk and the weather was perfect! Thank you for sharing your home, we had a wonderful time!! Would definitely stay again.

This well maintained townhome is nicely laid out with the two comfortable en-suites on first level and a third full bath one floor up on open living level. Those baths as well as kitchen are newly redone and nicely appointed. There’s light and some views from every room.
Outdoor spaces were our favorite. And there are three of them, each beautifully set up for gathering and lounging. Quite a few random rain showers soaked areas but they also dried out relatively quickly.
Beach is close, wide and raked clean.
Recommend Shrimp n Stuff food truck nearby at front of Jamaica Beach and for in town, Katie’s Seafood House on harbor.
My five stars double when it comes to the rental owner. Mary offers her fabulous home for others to enjoy and she is kind, considerate, attentive and a wonderful owner to rent from!!

GREAT place! Super clean. Everything is labeled and instructions are everywhere for a simple stay. They have everything you need and are really good at getting back to you fast if you have a question. It was super fun to have 3 decks to see the ocean on, a great hot tub and really close to the beach. It was everything we were looking for.

Exactly as described. Very easy drive to Galveston‘s sea wall. Grocery store about 1 minute away from condo is a big plus.

Wonderful Stay!
Another memorable vacation! Mary is always the most gracious host and always in contact to ensure we have everything we need. My husband, kids and I come every year now it’s a must! A walk away from beach, and short ride to all the attractions nearby, we get to do everything Galveston has to offer in the week! Thanks for the memories Mary!

This was a great place, in an awesome location. We booked this place for a girl’s trip, and there was plenty of room for the six of us. It was cozy, and had everything we needed for our stay. Mary's place is a wonderful spot on Galveston Island in a very quiet community, allowing for peaceful relaxation and walks on a long, wide beach. Her place has been tastefully remodeled and beautifully decorated making it feel more like a personal home vs. a sterile rental property. Pillows galore! The primary bedroom was a sanctuary and the bathrooms were beautifully remodeled. Everything was in good working order. Kitchen was very well stocked, including a really nice Kuerig/combo coffee pot for brewing coffee for mornings on the deck. The condo feels very spacious and roomy. We did not use the TV or soundbar -- sitting on the deck and getting peek views of the ocean was enough to fill the early evenings. I've stayed in a ton of VRBOs and Mary's property was up there with some of the nicest. The only thing that would have made it better would be a couple of beach chairs and beach towels being a rental so close to the beach -- it was the first time I've stayed at a beach property that didn't offer these amenities. It was not a detractor, though, as Mary was clear that she did not provide these items and I was aware of it in advance. Having flown in from out of town, we weren't able to pack and bring beach supplies with us but still enjoyed the property nonetheless. Mary made checking in easy with a lockbox and she was super responsive with replies leading up to our visit - even allowing us to check in a bit early, which was nice. It's clear that Mary has put care into her property and it's so nice that she makes such a nice place available for travelers. Thank you!

Absolutely charming. The unit was smartly decorated and immaculate. Spacious and well equipped kitchen and the sleeping accommodations were awesome, with a nice hot tub on master bedroom deck. The location is perfect on the west end in a very nice neighborhood and private beach. Restaurant and grocery store within walking distance and the location not far from the state park and other scenic places. Our host Mary, was very accommodative to ensure our stay was perfect. And it was!

Overdue Beach Getaway

Perfect Week In Galveston
The accommodations were perfect for our reunion with our daughter and her family. We spent a lot of time on the beach and enjoyed a few outings to Galveston. We look forward to going back!
