Super accueil Chambre confortable et propre : bonne literie, ventilateur efficace Eau à disposition gratuitement pour éviter d’acheter trop de bouteilles plastiques, belle initiative. Un peu à l’écart de l’agitation sans être trop éloigné.

Gel douche et shampooing seraient appréciables :)

Agréable séjour

Le gérant est toujours dispo et très gentil. Les chambres sont très propres et la literie confortable. La GH est au calme puisque située à 5min du centre, plus bruyant.

Great

Location is a bit further from "center" so it's more quiet. And nothing is really far anyway. Large mosquito net and comfy bed. Friendly owner, Simon even lent me some fishing gear.

I understand it's hard to get on the island but no wifi. wished there where a few more services than just accommodation.

Lovely!

Amazing spot! Big fan to cool down and quiet spot on the island. Still it's very close to the beach (5 a 10 minute walk) and even closer to the restaurants. They offer a fun map to guide you, free water refill and a shortcut to the beach. The room had a nice mosquito net and a place to sit outside. Would definitely recommend!

Accept that it will be hot (as are all the non a/c options I guess). But other than that, it was great.

Excellent stay.

Amazing stay at Mon and Srey Long's place in M'Pai Bay. Lovely hosts that made us feel very welcome on the island. Good location very close to main bit of town and also 10 minute walk to a beautiful beach. Good size room with comfy bed. Nice outside garden seating area. Cute cats too! Basic accommodation but good value for money on a paradise island.

Could do with a new mosquito net .

Had a great time highly recommend, great place to stay and excellent value for money!

Lovely family run guesthouse. Really helpful owners who answered my (many!) questions and helped me book a boat to go snorkelling. It looks like it’s far from the main part of the village on the map but it’s a 5 minute walk maximum.

An excellent budget place for a couple visiting M’Pai beach

Mon (Mr) runs a very good budget property within 5 minutes walk to the village and beach. He is very helpful and solution focussed. Complimentary water, tea and coffee available and kettle in the room. Mon alerted us to a magnificent Hornbill bird in the trees in the garden. Quite a sight. A lovely family to stay with.

Peaceful and lovely place

Nice place à bit away from the bar musics, to be in a peaceful place. The owner is very friendly and fluent in ebglish, always available to answer to all your questions and help you! Perfect stay to chill on the beach, snorkeling and see biolulinescent plankton!

Lovely stay, but..

The host, Simon, was very helpful and nice! Curry and Fred, the reception assistants/cats where always there to brighten your day 🙂 Nice and clean rooms! Free water refill

Nothing to do with the accommodation, but the bay itself is pretty run down and there is a lot of trash.

Amazing!

We had an amazing stay at Baloo!! The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable, the gardens are beautiful and peaceful and the family so kind. It is tucked away in a beautiful corner of MPai Bay, but only a few minute walk to the beach. Highly recommend!

Very nice and accommodating

Simon and Srey Long are lovely hosts. I believe in supporting a young family making their way through these trying times! Simon was kind enough to take for a beach hike. Thanks Simon!

Exceptional

Very clean and comfortable room. Wonderful to have our own clean toilet and bathroom. Great fan and mosquito net. Simon and Srey are very helpful with any enquires. A kettle in the room with free tea/coffee was fab. Good quiet location just 3 minutes walk to the beach front. Only slightly more expensive than 2 dorm beds. Don't hesitate - book this place.

Exceptional

We arrived very late due to problems with the ferry, but Simon was waiting for us. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need. We felt very comfortable. The location ist just a few minutes away and Simon and his family made our stay to a great experience.

Nothing, we loved to stay here. :)

Peaceful homestay with new amenities and lovely owners

Everything was great, from the hospitality of the family, the advice of what to visit in the area, to the room and the nice quiet location. Good amenities and clean. Maybe would be great to add some racks to put wet towels outside to dry.

Maybe the path to get there, bring a head torch to go back after dark, but it's ok just 5 min walk to mpay bay

The staff is very nice and helpful :) Baloo Bungalows are well located near the beach and village centre. Koh Rong Samloem is really beautiful and quiet island, where you can relax or enjoy trip on the boat.
