Perfect to visit Mantova if you have a car, in which case free but safe parking just outside. Easy drive into town just 10 min. Breakfast both sweet and salty (salty very rare in Italy) except no egg option.
The bed was confortable but the pillows a little hard. A towel hook outside the shower would be nice.

The room was nice and clean, the beds large and comfortable. The owners were very welcoming and had lots of recommandations about restaurants, free parking in Mantova, etc.
Breakfast was good but would've been even better with bread.

The staff was very friendly and even personally welcomed us with a translator to our home language. They gave us a map of the city and many recomendations of what to see or where to eat. :D

The host was very sweet and the room was immaculate. There were plenty of towels, pillows, etc. The host even offered to set up the coffee/breakfast early for me, as I wake up very early. Wonderful!
The area isn't very picturesque, but it's well understood that this is a place to stay when passing through or for those who want to stay outside Mantova.
