Nestled in Glenorchy, this lovely house for $199 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. This large five-bedroom home is in a central location on a quiet street, and offers stunning views from almost every room. It is the ideal place to base yourself during your time in Hobart. You can take the bus right outside the front door, which will get you to the city in about fifteen to twenty minutes. If you have a car it is only a short drive to Hobart CBD, Salamanca and MONA. A café, news agency, chemist, petrol station and corner stores are all close by. Free Wi-Fi is available. The large centrally located home is spacious with lots of light. It consists of five bedrooms, one main bathroom, an en-suite, and a sink and toilet in the fourth bedroom downstairs. The large loungeroom has three leather couches and a recliner which comfortably fits ten people, has a smart TV with Netflix, Stan, and Kayo. This room also provides a reverse cycle heat pump to keep you warm during the chilly day/nights. It also has a Nintendo Wii console/controllers and Wii games, there are also plenty of board games and toys for kids of all ages to keep them amused while the adults relax. The kitchen has an air fryer, a stove, utensils, supplies, microwave, fridge, and coffee maker to help you prepare gourmet meals. It also has an eight-person dining table and a high chair. Adults and children alike will enjoy the deck and backyard. There is a little gas BBQ for use and a little eating table and seats to sit out and take in the natural air. Outside, near the clothesline, there is a Totem tennis pole that everyone of all ages can enjoy. The laundry is upstairs with a washing machine and washing liquid for your use. Bedroom one has a queen bed, with an en-suite. Bedroom two has a queen bed. Bedroom three has two single beds with toys for the kids. Bedroom four has a queen bed, fold out sofa bed/couch, and a sink and toilet. This room also provides a reverse cycle heat pump to keep you warm during the chilly day/nights. Bedroom five has a double bed, with a basketball hoop/games table, a smart TV, Wii console, portable heater and DVD player. An additional heater is located in the hallway, some beds have an electric blanket during the winter months. A cot can be requested if you need one, and linen will also be provided. There is a bath and a shower in the main bathroom, and each bathroom has a hairdryer and supplies. There is no wheelchair access at this property. Security camera is by the front door but doesn’t record audio. On the fridge a pink magnet contains Wi-Fi information/also on the welcome book. I have a car for hire through Uber Carshare all information is located on the fridge.

This property and the owner are fantastic. The owner is a pleasure to deal with and the property is awesome, with fantastic views from most rooms. There is plenty of room for a large family. It is situated in a lovely area, not too far from Hobart central. There was even a wallaby and pademelon that visited the back yard regularly, for a feed. Would thoroughly recommend the place to other visitors.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shelley’s place. Her house was spacious, clean and had all necessities. Rooms were perfect, beds were comfortable and sufficient heating. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your beautiful place! My kids enjoyed the house as well, especially the toys and playroom. The added bonus was seeing an echidna outside Shelley’s place! In my 29 years of living in Australia, that was the first time I saw one!

Had an amazing time when staying at this property and communication with the property manager was easy and they made the whole stay 100 times better. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Plus the heating was great, especially in winter!

Shelley was great with communication for stay. For anyone that hasn’t stayed in Hobart, the drive into the city is about 10-15mins. The house itself sits on top of hill, with views down into Hobart. House was clean, there was minor issues with kitchen cabinetry.

This was a great property to provide our group with access to the Hobart area. Loved the views, as this house had a high hillside aspect. Plenty of room for our group of 8. Shelley was a wonderful host and provided fantastic communication throughout. I would be happy to book this property again.

The host was friendly and helpful. We checked in late in the evening and had a problem finding the property in the dark. Shelly communicated promptly even at that time and had made sure we settled in well. The house was in a fantastic location, quiet yet close to restaurants and shops, only 15 min to Salamanca market and less than 30min to Mt. Wellington. We enjoyed having a drink after a day of travel, with the unbeatable view of Hobart in front of us :D

Good central location to Hobart and surrounding attractions. Property owner very responsive to queries and pro-active in emailing tourist information that might have been of interest. Enjoyed watching the marsupials that frequented the backyard during the day and evenings. Comfortable beds.

The house was large and had geeat spaces to seperate the group where we werent living on top of each other. Great heating for a winter house and a stunning view over Hobart city day and night, even get a wallaby or two in the backyard at times. Shelley was a great host and was great to communicate with and helped alot.
