Comfortable stay

I very much enjoyed my stay here. The futons were confortable and the appartment was nice and clean. The view from the room is lovely overlooking the beach. The BBQ is also a really nice added bonus. There were a few insects, spiders and mosquitos, but this can't be helped and can be managed with the provided insect repellents. The property also has plenty of plates, cutlery and cooking utentils for both indoor cooking and the BBQ. The beach is also a short 10min walk away and popular for those who like surfing. I would definitely recommend to others.

The Retro it reminds me granny’s house. House is absolutely old,but this is the Japanese retro house. I think you might able to remind Japanese old animation.

So many bugs there. I am ok such as ants, mosquitos,cockroach even big bugs in the rooms. But it is old house matter . The room is so clean. And the room key is not safety, we were given the just our room’s key. The entrance key is not given. So it is bit scare.

This is not the place in posted pictures.

the place was completely change from the pictures. we were surprised by seeing the place. it was the baddest experience ever

the bathroom was very dark and uncleaned. it didn’t appears in the posted pictures. and small size spiders are everywhere in the place. and owner seems good but he didn’t welcome properly and the place was disgusting.

Exceptional

Great location, the beach was less than a 10 minute walk and the view was beautiful. Our host was wonderful, we greatly enjoyed our stay!

Superb

This place was so cool. We booked last minute due to a mistake with our other place. The host met us and showed us around. Set up a charcoal BBQ. It is SUCH a cool spot. The room has tatami and you set up a bed. All the kitchen things you need. The view is incredible....I highly recommend.

If I had to be picky, the bathroom isnt anything special. But it is fine

Super pleasant stay!

The host was extremely helpful. He met us when we arrived and also helped arrange barbecue in a very short notice. The kitchen was very well equipped and the house was very clean. The books and games available we very thoughtful. We would love to visit here again.

2 year in a row- hope we get to stay again next year!

we can do BBQ and near the beaches. the owner is so nice and accommodating. the price was reasonable.

the shower/toilet need a bit of improvement even if the vibes was a bit bohemian.

cozy bbq japanese style home.

I like its location. It's on the top from where you can see the ocean. Have a backyard for bbq. And the most is the host Katchu San a wise man. He is charming and helpful.

It was a pleasant stay with all facilities. Its an uphill place so walking will be difficult. Small and cozy place..

Good

The back yard garden and the view is really astonishing and good for camp fire or BBQ. The sea can be viewed from the garden which provides an added colours to the stay.

the cost, and the specification for how many people can accomodate in the room was not mentioned clearly which provided lots of confusions. May be the cost was high because of Golden week, but for a tatami we paid JPY 30,000 which was way costly i believe.
