About this house rental
Situated in Hendersonville, this lovely house for $600 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Enjoy breathtaking views of Old Hickory Lake and beautiful sunsets. This newly renovated 3500 square feet lake home, with spectacular views of the lake, is the ideal getaway. With floor-to-ceiling windows and 3 levels of deck, you will fall in love with this home. This home features four bedrooms, two and a half baths. Whether you rent a boat from Blue Turtle Bay Marina / Cedar Creek Marina or enjoy the sauna after a long day of boating, water skiing, fishing, or relaxing on the hammock you will not be disappointed. It's also a short drive from Downtown Nashville and easily accessible to Nashville International airport, restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops or the marina. The deck has open railing and is not suitable for young children. The walkway to the lake can be steep and not recommended for elderly or guests with knee issues. All the bedrooms have new beds and newly purchased mattress. Master Bedroom is spacious with vaulted ceiling, skylight, ceiling fan, two closets, one is a walk-in closet. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning by walking right out of your master bedroom thru the sliding doors onto the back deck and lake views. Master bathroom has double sinks with a large open shower and separate soaker tub. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed with vaulted ceiling and ceiling fan. This bedroom also has sliding doors leading out onto the back deck and lake views. Powder Room is across from Bedroom #2 with beautiful tiles on the floor and subway tiles. Kitchen is fully equipped featuring double oven, and stainless steel appliances. There is a table for two also. Sliding doors lead out to the side deck and a picnic table and grill. Dining Area has a large church pew and table and chairs and beautiful stone wall. Enjoy the great room with vaulted ceilings, skylight and floor to ceiling windows with magnificent views of the lake. This room is open to the dining area. There is a T.V. mounted above the fireplace. Take the spiral staircase to the bottom level. There you will again enjoy the floor to ceiling windows and breathtaking views of the lake. Watch T.V. on the leather sofa and chair or play a game of ping pong. There are a selection of books to choose from should you decide to read but please return before leaving. This room also has a newly purchased queen sleeper sofa around the corner. Bedroom #3 has a queen bed with 2 large windows with one overlooking the lake. Bedroom #4 has two twin beds with 1 long window overlooking the lake. Bathroom #3 is fully remodeled with new tiles on the floor, new fixtures, ship lap on the walls, and a beautiful large shower. You will enjoy a relaxing time in the sauna, just set the timer. Sauna is not recommended for children. The house is completely renovated with all new Hardwood floors on the main floors and bottom floors. Powder room and bottom bathroom are also completely renovated. New light fixtures throughout, new coat of paint throughout the inside and outside of the house. Enjoy the natural waterfall and pond as you make your way to the lake. The lake house sits up high and the walkway to the lake is steep. Please, not recommended for anyone with knee issues or elderly guests. Lastly, you don't want to miss the sunset because it is magnificent from the deck!! There is an outdoor camera at the front entrance.

This property was very clean and comfortable for our group of 7 adults. The weather was so hot but the house stayed very comfortable and the air conditioner cooled both floors very well. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The only thing we did not find was a hair dryer. The living area and dining table were very comfortable and spacious. The drive to Nashville was easy and took about 30 minutes. We would definitely stay at this home again! Thank you Dotty for making the arrival to and departure from your home so easy and fast. You won't be disappointed if you stay at this home!

This property was amazing. I enjoy the amazing view from the deck and on the boat dock. The sunsets were some of the prettiest I’ve ever seen. My friends and family absolutely loved staying at the house.

Hard to believe that this house was only 20 minutes from the Nashville strip. Beautiful view. Too cold to use the deck, but most other weeks of the year it would be a highlight. I'll never stay in the city again.

This house was beautiful and offers a break from the hustle and bustle of downtown Nashville. Would stay again. Highly recommend. It’s fully stocked, we cooked a few meals in the house. Plenty of pots and pans, plates, utensils, etc. Bedding and towels were great as well. The sauna was perfect. We rented a boat from Sweetwater, that was fun as well. All around great vacation.

The house and location was gorgeous, however, we found that we couldn’t go outside at night and use the decks. They were COVERED in giant spiders of all kinds that literally had webs all over the doors/windows, making it impossible to go out of them at night. I understand the house is on a lake but our lake house in Michigan is not like this when we spray for spiders often making for a much more enjoyable experience. It was quite a bummer since we spent SO much money on the property and not being able to use so much of it. I would highly suggest wiping down the decks in between guests stay and include that in part of the cleaning fee. Everything was covered in webs it gave quite an eerie feeling to the home. There were also several webs in the corners of all the rooms in the house. I really wish those would have been wiped away prior to our arrival.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely lake home! The house was clean and the space was excellent for our group. The walk down to the lake is quite steep so you have to be careful! The communication with the owner was clear and easy!

We really enjoyed our stay at this magnificent home! The decor was perfect and the scenery was beautiful. The beds were comfortable too. We really enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs overlooking the water. They had everything we needed! Would love to stay here again.

We had a wonderful, easy stay here over 5 days during Thanksgiving. The house is portrayed well online. The scenic setting on the lake was enhanced by fall foliage and sunsets. We appreciated that there were plenty of household amenities in stock for a stay of a few days. Enjoyed the sauna too!

Enjoyed the lakehouse for a much needed getaway!
The house was perfect fit for 9 of us. The home even had a dock for a pontoon rental that we used. The 4 bedrooms (2 on first floor, 2 on the basement level) were roomy and beds were decent. Blackout drapes were great! The A/C worked OK, basement level became very cold when we were trying to cool first floor but not huge issue. Two full bathrooms were nice, sauna was amazing! At times the water pressure was weak when using both at same time but we figured out timing.
We highly recommend staying here!

This house is in a nice neighborhood on a quiet street. The house is clean, the beds/pillows are super comfy, and the lake view is gorgeous. We sat in the rocking chairs, enjoying a cocktail every single night while watching the sunset, debating about how we should buy a boat. Falling asleep to a symphony of locusts and bullfrogs was pretty lovely too. I noticed a few previous reviews of this property mentioned that the walk down to the lake was steep. It's steep, but it isn't THAT steep. It's gradual, and if you're in reasonably decent shape, you should be able to handle it. Also, I don't have small children, but I wouldn't feel comfortable with a small child on the deck due to the reasonably open railing. But as I said, no small children here, only teenagers, so we thoroughly enjoyed every moment at this beautiful house and its spectacular lakefront view.

We secured this property for a family vacation with our two adult children, their spouses, and four grand boys. Worked out perfectly although it is a bit of a trek to the water. The ping pong table was a constant source of entertainment. I definitely recommend this lovely home.

Beautiful, relaxing location, with a lake view.
Everything was very nice about our stay, space, cleanliness, view of lake, etc. However for the price we paid for 4 nights I felt there should have been more towels. A small thing but only 1 bath, hand, face cloth for each adult was not enough. Yes there is a W/D but we don't go somewhere for 4 nights expecting to do the wash. Also I felt the walkway down to the water was of concern for anyone not familiar with the site. We started down, it was damp so it was slippery, and only made it halfway before heading back up. Need to fix the steps leading from the driveway down to front door too. Otherwise I would recommend for others to enjoy that part of Tennessee.
