The house was very spacious, clean and had all the necessities needed to start the vacation off as soon as we arrived. The neighborhood was quiet with a dirt road that was beautiful to walk our family dog on early in the morning and as the sun set. The house itself didn't have the best views as the mountains were blocked by the forest in the back of the house, but a short walk either direction on the road provided beautiful views. The house is also located near everything you would want to do while visiting Stowe. The management team was responsive and provided feedback quickly, which was greatly appreciated. Definitely a great place to stay and we highly recommend it.

We had the best time for a ladies' weekend in Stowe. The house was so close to town and also easy to get to the mountain and shops and restaurants along the access road. It was well stocked with supplies, games, towels, and sheets. The house had cozy Vermont vibes. We got a lot of snow while there and the driveway was plowed before 8:30 AM. Mike also brought over a shovel, which was helpful when we needed to shovel out our cars. My one suggestion is to add a love seat or additional arm chairs in the living room. For a house that sleeps 12, only 6-7 people can comfortably sit in the living room. Overall, I highly recommend staying here!

Extended family stay for Norwich graduation weekend. We had a beautifully catered dinner at the house. Huge center island to set up the buffet. Bedrooms for all ages, including two downstairs.

The house is beautiful but it wasn’t cleaned very well. We found candy and wrappers under the crib the floors weren’t washed. The back deck had bees nest under the table and found out as they started attacking us. The back deck had grass and vines growing up through the grated as you walked outside. 12 of us stayed and there was only 4 washcloths in the house. The key wouldn’t let me dead bolt the door I came in thank goodness it was the same hey for the back door.

Great property located only 5 minutes from the village and 15 minutes from the mountain. Excellent accommodations, we will be bringing the whole family back for a ski weekend next season. Highly recommended.

I cannot say enough about this property. The pictures are amazing, but the home is even more beautiful in person. It is such a comfortable home, we felt as though we had already visited many times before even though this was our first visit. The kitchen had everything you would need to make a meal, or enjoy take-out--and even had a great hot chocolate/tea/coffee tray!
Everything was so comfortable and clean-I cannot recommend this home enough--although, my selfish side doesn't want to say anything, because I want to make sure we are able to come back without it being fully booked :)
The location is perfect- a nice quiet street that is close to downtown Stowe, but still far enough away that you feel secluded for a nice relaxing vacation. Our dogs enjoyed the quiet as much as we did, and definitely loved playing in the snow as well!
Russell was quick to respond to any questions that popped up, which made us feel great as first time travelers to the area. This is a great house for families or a quiet getaway with a loved one. You won't be disappointed!

Our family has stayed in many great VRBO properties, but this was definitely one of our favorites. It is a lovely home, cozy yet spacious, in an amazing location so quiet & peaceful yet close to all that Stowe has to offer. The kitchen is an absolute dream to cook in. The home has been updated so well, with an incredible mud room, comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms and very clean. We loved the deck for morning coffee, afternoon yoga, evening wine, and carving pumpkins. We also enjoyed the wood stove and outdoor fire pit. Many great restaurants, shopping, and hikes in the area. The weather and autumn colors were spectacular. It’s simply a beautiful spot inside and out. Feels like a true home away from home. Russell was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We would love to stay here again. Thank you for sharing Russell!

What a great find this was for us. We are serial VRBOites with high standards, and this property was excellent. The property manager made the check-in process easy, and the property was exactly as listed in the web listing. You walk into a great mudroom that opens up to a combination living room, kitchen, and dining room. There is a wood stove (too warm for us to use) and wood beams in this room make it a cozy spot to relax and enjoy being in the woods.
The King bed on the second floor was super comfortable, and there were plenty of other spots to sleep if you had a large group, including a bunk room for kids.
The kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances, an ample supply of pots and pans if you plan on cooking, and even a good assortment of basic items you might need that you wouldn't think of packing with you.
We will certainly add this to our list of spots to revisit. We were a bit early for the colors, but this would be a great location to enjoy those as well.

Epic trip
My sisters and I, plus our families, rented the home for a wonderful week of skiing and snowboarding. The house was located perfectly to allow us to move freely between a home base, the mountain and the town. The mud room made it so easy to sort and store our gear.

We had a wonderful weekend stay here. The house is in a great location to the town of Stowe, Stowe Mountain and Smugglers Notch. Even close to a supermarket! The home itself was perfect and very clean. Great rooms sizes with comfortable beds! All the bathrooms were stocked with plenty of towels, hand soaps and even shampoo/conditioner and body wash! The kitchen had everything you needed in it and was even stocked with spices for our use.
We loved the open mud room for storing all of our ski and snowboard stuff. The fireplace gave off amazing heat and a bonus was all of the firewood supplied in the garage. Lots of board games available for our use as well.
The property manager was always quick to respond to with any questions we had. This was a wonderful place to stay. When we come back to ride the mountains we will be sure to stay here again!

Family Holida
The property is a well maintained with easy access and just a short drive to downtown Stowe. The two car garage is very helpful for brining items inside in case in inclement weather. We especially liked the heated floors in the entry way that keep or shoes nice and toasty. The house is stocked with cooking supplies that we found useful. We cooked almost every night for 10 people and never had an issue with not having a pot, pan or baking dish that we needed. The only issue with the property was the downstairs hallway bathroom has an issue with hot water in the shower. The faucet has hot water and the other bathrooms work fine. Overall we had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect Spot for time in Stowe
Very happy we chose to stay at this property. The location was great as you are close to everything in Stowe but still have a great place to relax in a beautiful and quiet natural setting.
The home was very clean and well appointed with everything you would need for a get away. We especially loved the back patio, the gourmet kitchen and the openness of the floor plan.
The property contact and owner were very responsive and offered some great insight on the local scene.
We would highly recommend to stay here.

Honestly, this house was perfect. So private, however 7 minutes to town. The kitchen was stunning and we spent most of our time on the back porch :) Thank you for the awesome stay!

We very much enjoyed the house and location. Wonderful deck and lovely indoor facilities. Had difficulty getting hot water in one shower but other two were fine. Minor issue but wished the trees were trimmed to have a fuller view of the incredible Stowe scenery. Contact person Mike was quick to respond to a couple of questions.

Ideal for a family stay
The house meets all expectations and is ideal for a family gathering. We were in the area for a UVM graduation and used the house as a homebase. We knew it was a hike from Burlington but didn’t mind. Very well done.

Lovely, comfortable home with beautiful views
This home is gorgeous and spacious with beautiful views of the mountain. The kitchen is fully equipped and we appreciated the extra touches like toys for the kids, adult games, magazines, bath products, etc. We highly recommend it and hope to visit again!

Perfect for all of us!!
We came to Stowe for a girls weekend - me, my mother, my three sisters and my five nieces between the ages of 4 - 10 years old. We go away every winter/spring and this house was hands down the best place we could have stayed for this kind of weekend. Not only was close to the mountain, but it only ten minutes from town (shopping, eating, grocery store, cocktails). The house itself had ample room, and an open first floor. The combination of living room, kitchen and dining room in the same space gave us room to spread out and for the kids to run around. The bedrooms were big and comfortable, especially the bunk room for the kids. I really can't rave about this place enough. Everything was provided and the check-in and check-out instructions were simple. I had to reach out to the two care-taking contacts for a quick question when I was leaving, and both immediately responded and were beyond helpful. This place is fantastic.

The house was just what our families needed for a fun vacation. Well laid out, super clean and conveniently located to Stowe Village and the mountain. We did need a little more setting in livingroom to accommodate all 9 of us but we made due!The owner sent us a welcome email the day we arrived which was a nice personal touch. Our family really enjoyed our stay here in August. There was no AC in the house, but plenty of fans in the house for each room, which was great. Our kids loved all the toys and the tent! The kitchen was clean and had almost everything needed..salt was missing :) The location was perfect, just a few minutes from town. Thanks for sharing your home with us, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed this house as we love to cook and hang out. We played yard games, (that we brought), amd just throroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely.

Prime location and great space!
Our family (group of 10) loved this house! We had plenty of space for everyone, with large living spaces, kitchen and bedrooms. The home was very clean and still looked and felt very new.
Outdoor spaces were also great and very quiet/private! The back patio has beautiful views of the mountains and comfortable seating for large groups. The front yard and driveway make a great spot for frisbee throwing, and other activities. The fire pit area looked nice, although it was far too hot to enjoy it during our stay.
The location couldn't have been better! You get a private, quiet space but are only 10-15 minutes to lots of activities, including hiking, waterfalls, restaurants, a grocery store, mini-golf, and more! It was our first time visiting the area and really loved all Stowe has to offer. Highly recommend visiting Doc Pond's for lunch/dinner, hiking to Moss Glen Falls or along the ridge at Mount Mansfield, and visiting Alchemist or Von Trapp for tasty local brews!
The only main downfall was the extreme heat and no A/C. Thankfully there were portable fans we took to the bedrooms, but I think ceiling fans would be a nice addition. I know it's not typically 95 degrees in Stowe, but ceiling fans are nice in the summer at any temperature.
It would also be nice to have a few more basic cooking essentials (i.e. spices...there was no salt). We do appreciate all you had but we were just missing a few things.
That said, we would definitely book this home again, and highly recommend it!
