About this house rental
Nestled in Ogunquit, this charming house for $550 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. This four bedroom colonial sits at the edge of a beautiful, wild flower filled meadow. It is at the mouth of Perkins Cove and a stones throw from the trolley stop that takes you to the downtown area and the main beach . Walk down the private country road, which leads you to the nearby Marginal Way. Follow the path that runs more than a mile along our rocky coastline with Perkins Cove on one end, the baby beach in the middle and Ogunquit Village on the other. All of the shops, fine restaurants, fishing boats and entertainment are within walking distance. This is a great property for family reunions in a private community just off the beaten path of the heartbeat of Ogunquit. Parking for four cars maximum. If more needed ask. Four great breakfast restaurants within walking distance. Books Saturday to Saturday by the week June, July and August. Three day stays anytime in the early Spring and Fall! Plan you vacation now! Parking space for two cars in driveway and two more beside the house on pavement. There are many good golf courses close by.

Location is great, very easy access to marginal way, perkins cove and the restaurants in that area. Owners live right behind the house which is convenient should you need anything. We met George, really good guy.

This was our second time staying at the Cooley's house. There is so much we liked about it. The location right off of Shore Road but in a quiet neighborhood is ideal. It is a very clean and spacious house...perfect for a big family. We enjoyed the yard to be able to play outdoor games and the porch to relax on. Linens and towels provided were a huge convenience, as well as the washer and dryer!!. The kitchen had almost everything we needed to use to make our family dinners. George and Lew-Ann were very good at getting back to us with any questions we had and just a pleasure to rent from.

This was the second year in a row that we spent a week in this home and we had another great stay! The home is spacious and clean, and the location can't be beat! We loved having coffee and drinks on the front porch, the easy walk to Marginal Way, and close proximity to Perkin's Cove, restaurants, and shops. We hope to be back soon!

Was visiting Ogunquit for my first time with my family and it was a great experience. The house was clean and comfortable. The owner helped check us in and made sure we were comfortable. The location for us was perfect, a short walk to Marginal way and Perkins Cove made it easy to go see the beauty of Ogunquit. A great experience and very good host. We would do again!

This was a perfect property for our family of 6 women. The house was spacious and having a third bathroom was a big plus. We loved being walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the beach. It was so easy to be on foot instead of sitting in traffic. We loved our time together in beautiful Ogunquit.

The space lends itself to family gatherings around a large dining room table open to the kitchen. The Adirondack chairs on the porch are a great place to relax, listen to the quiet, view the beautiful sky! The walk to the Marginal way and Perkins Cove is quick and lovely and of course once you get there, breathtaking views. A must stay location if in the area!!!!

We had the pleasure of meeting the property owners and learned a great deal more about Ogunquit than we learned in our previous five visits.

This property was very nice. We all enjoyed our stay at this large, clean comfortable home. Communication with the owner, who lives nearby, was excellent and two very minor issues were solved immediately. ,Loved the front porch for early morning meditations or just hanging out anytime. The picnic table in the yard was perfect for our group of 6 adults and two small children on nights we cooked in, although the indoor dining room table was comfortable for all of us as well. . Only three of the four bedrooms have unit air conditioners and we stayed at probably the hottest week of the summer. Fans on the first floor were adequate but not ideal on 3 of the hottest days we were there.
We truly loved where we were located. So nice to be able to walk to Perkins Cove for an early morning stroll on marginal way, or a quick trip in for an ice cream with the kids in the evening. If our plans allow, we hope to stay here again next year.

Lew-Ann was great and came to say hi when we just arrived to the house. We rented another house last year right across from this one so I actually had met/talked to her last year without knowing she was also the owner of this house.
This house was perfect for our party. There weren't a lot of knick-knacks sitting around so the kids couldn't break anything - huge plus. Kitchen table was huge and fit our large party. I really loved the openness of the layout. The backyard was great for yard games and front porch was lovely to sit on for evening drinks.
Only comment for future renters is to know the main downstairs area and 1st floor bedroom is not air conditioned. - only the 3 upstairs bedrooms are. It was nice enough weather where the several window fans running downstairs kept the house a nice temperature. If you're renting during a week of 90+ degree temps it might be a little hot in the main living area.
Another huge plus was that there were plenty of towels (beach, shower, kitchen, washcloths). We seem to always rent places that have very few and end up having to do multiple washes a week to have enough.
I would 100% recommend this house to large parties with kids of varying ages. We'll definitely be renting again!

Summer in the states!
Overall we had a great time at the house. The location is ideal for ogunquit and makes it easy to have dinner at Perkins Cove!
The driveway is a bit tight, the garbage bins need to be bigger. The only other thing is the masterbath and downstairs bath could really be updated with new bath mats and shower curtains.

Gracious Hosts
Our family of 4 had a lovely 2 week summer vacation at this house! This home is situated in a great location in Ogunquit! In the mornings it took us less than 5 minutes to get to the entrance of the marginal way and in the evenings we enjoyed a short 5 minute stroll to dinner in Perkins Cove. It's the perfect house for a family, especially if you have young kids! The whole house is extremely spacious and it is equipped with everything that you need. Also, there is a giant backyard that is beautiful and it feels like a private oasis. Lew-ann and George were such gracious hosts! My family and I had booked their house pre-covid. Several times leading up to our trip I thought that we would have to cancel. Lew-ann and George were extremely patient and understanding. Ultimately our family had a great stay and we were very happy with their home!

This was a great vacation home for our family. With four large bedrooms and a pull-out couch, not only were all of my children able to stay, but two little grandchildren and a grandpa too! The house is on a private road very close to Perkins Cove and an entrance to the Marginal Way. The little beaches are very close by which enabled us to do beach time in smaller chunks and not have to drag lots of stuff along. Nice, large yard to play our lawn games on.The porch with 8 chairs was nice for everyone! Although close to the Perkins Cove area, not a bad walk into town for anyone wanting to head in that direction on foot, car or trolley! A grill for cooking out made making meals so much cheaper and easier with such a large family. Washer and dryer helpful to do mid-week laundry and lastly, not having to bring our own sheets and towels freed up a lot of space in our cars! We have stayed in other homes in Ogunquit before and the houses have had different perks, but this was the best one for us so far! Well maintained and very friendly owners helped to make our week very pleasant.

Large space in a great spot
Nice and large house with a lot of amenities. Very easy to cook in the kitchen. Easily accommodates 6 -8 adult guests. Great that there was air conditioning in the bedrooms upstairs. We had to use it a couple of nights. It is very well located near the trolley and the path. The backyard picnic area was great.
