We had a great stay. Everyone from our 6yo to 70yo enjoyed the space. The location felt nicely secluded and off the beaten trail, while being just 15mins from the grocery store. The boys were successful in their crabbing adventures and enjoyed some fishing; they did get to see some jellyfish and a stingray. The neighbors were super nice, one stopped over to suggest we get our Jon boat out of the water due to an incoming storm. Watching the storm come in was awesome. The house was clean and comfy, and the outside space was perfect no matter if you’re a sun lover or shade lover. Our host was quick to respond to questions and check-in/check-out directions were clear. Our favorite place we checked out away from “home” was chincoteague. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

I don't ordinarily provide reviews, but this house is a great place to stay. It is situated on a quiet part of the Puncoteague Creek, just before it empties into the bay. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. Every day, the house was a quiet and peaceful, making it a great place to relax if you are looking to get away. The fishing and crabbing were both great, providing a great activity to do with kids.

It would have been easier on us and more appropriate if the owner had not left his boat occupying the only boat lift. Cranking our Jon boat up the "ramp" to drain it every night was work. The one night we left it tied to the only space available at the dock, the wind came up, waves filled the boat with water, and almost sank it. The several trips trying find the dump due to owners' casual directions, the large crabs preventing any swimming off the dock, and the feeling of being watched by a neighbor added to our stress. Owner should fix overheard fan in the bedroom with the twin beds; it made such a racket I had to turn it off and buy a fan.
