In town for a wedding. We had a delightful stay at the parsonage. It is well appointed and in a location that's accessible to all that onancock has to offer!

We are repeat visitors to this property for the last couple of years. It is in a great location on Virginia's Eastern Shore, in with convenient access to groceries, banks, restaurants, and even the local hospital. It is also perfect if you will be visiting both points north like Chincoteague and south like Cape Charles. We love it, even just walking around downtown Onancock and the surrounding neighborhoods is just lovely. The house is beautiful and comfortable and has everything you could want for a great shore getaway. We loved sitting in the gorgeous sunroom and the porch is great too. There is a new coffee shop around the corner from the house that we visited so much, we filled our free drink punch card! The owners and staff there are so sweet as well. So much to love about this area and we always look forward to coming back. Thank you to the Smiths!

We loved the house which had everything we needed, excellent AC, comfortable spaces for our family of 4, and super clean! The town has quiet tree-lined streets, an idyllic marina, and is surrounded by scenic inlets of the Chesapeake Bay where we saw many Great Blue Heron and Egrits. Good restaurants, art galleries, and antique shops are close by. It was our first trip to ESVA. The only issue we had with the location was that public access to beaches involved 30-40 minute drives down to Cape Charles or up to Assateague. But that also gave us a reason to explore a bit more than we would have otherwise. We'd love to return to this house and the town as it is perfect for any city folks in search of a quiet, relaxing getaway.

Great Home and location for walking everywhere in town. Loved all the historic detail in the home. With three living room areas, everyone can be together or separate if they want.

Beautiful home and ground with lovely antiques and design, spacious accommodation to spread out for privacy, superb comfort in beds and furnishings, extra little touches and supplies and very accommodating and approachable owners. Great timing at local dockside restaurant, had a blast on 2 hr paddle boarding rental adventure. Less than an hour to chincoteague boat cruise to view dolphins and wild horses of assateague- both fantastic views before heading home northbound. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Great area for a getaway. You can walk to everything. Mallards restaurant is a 2 minute walk from the house. Great food. The gps does not show the house accurately make sure you type in the address. Their is a public parking space across the street where you can park a boat. Would definitely stay again.
